We were eyeing for a great place to enjoy the night out with friends and Turquaz did not disappoint! Kebabs perfectly spiced, lentil soup comforting, and baklava a sweet finale. An exquisite dining experience that captures the essence of modern Turkish culinary artistry. Big thanks to our gracious host making sure we had a great dining experience. Had a blast for a first timer here!

Food was fantastic, service was excellent. Unfortunately, when they get busy, they dont have designated seating for with or without children. Its was extremely loud and couldn't enjoy ourselves in conversation.

Visited here for the first time on November 11th. It was busy- and we understand why. Reasonable prices for good sized portions. I had the lunch sized chicken kebab and Turkish coffee. The food was incredibly flavourful. I can't wait to go back!

We ate here for the first time after receiving a recommendation from a friend. What a pleasant expirience it was! The food was delicious, mildly flavored (perfect for those with kids) and the portions were huge! We'll be returning.

I've been their costumer for 6 years! Food is good. I liked their service but recently the front staff behaves so impolitely! As I entered the restaurant, a lady came in and said hello and was met with arms crossed, no greeting! Nor welcoming! She asked "where is you vaccine prof and ID? " with anger! So rude!

They have best in class kebabs, felafels, shwarmas i would say in entire Canada.unbeatable taste and quantity is huge for one person! Great service and one of the best Halal dine in Canada. Worth a Visit?

First time trying here. Sit down first and then go order your food. Then they bring you fresh bread from the oven. Soooo good. Everything we ordered was amazing. The portion are huge and we took leftovers home

Great food, amazing service, beautiful ambiance and most importantly interested crowd. Something good to experience or rather it won't be wrong if I put it this way, "A must go place to dine-in in your lifetime if you live in Edmonton. " A bit pricy now, they use to be less expensive a year ago but post COVID they've bumped up their peices which is a bit sad.

Very good food. Very good ambience. Prices are a bit above average. The meat is 100% Halal and they have published the names and numbers of their suppliers on the menu
We tried chicken kebabs, trios (combination of beef, lamb and chicken), different varieties of fish.
The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because there was a slight blight in service. I let the owner know. Ideally he should have offered to rectify the issue, but he only apologized.

They also have nice separate places for Wudu and prayer rooms for both men and women.

We had high hopes but the food was just decent. Nothing special. Its middle eastern and there are certainly better options available for as such.

The food is good but not as good as it was at its old location. They should make the rice they use to before. They should also increase there portions because it's very small now. There starting to take advantage!

Was there on eid yesterday with family took platters to go. Portions were really small not worth it at all. Even though they have raised prices still didnt bother to make normal size portion.

Did a take out. Restaurant was busy but our food was still ready fast. Very friendly staff. Food is absolutely delicious, meat was nice and juicy and salad tasted great too!

Delicious food! Read good reviews and tried this place for lunch. Staff is amazing, food is great, ambience is good as well! Must try if you're into Lebanese food. We tried the kafta and chicken thigh lunch platter.

Today I saw a sign that they were hiring. I walked in with a resume and when I spoke to the manager I said that I would like to work in the kitchen. He immediately told me that they only hire men for the kitchen and that hiring a woman would cause problems. Not only is this awful but it is also highly illegal and I plan to report them to the proper authorities.

On top of this, I have eaten here before and have to say the food is mediocre in comparison to many other Lebanese restaurants. I suppose they needed a woman in the kitchen to fix what's wrong with their cuisine and service.

We heard great things about this place and made a point to stop by before we left town. We were not disappointed. The staff accommodated us even though we arrived an hour before closing. We ordered the triple and had a good sampling of their food. If I lived in town I would visit here often. The place was packed, a testament to the quality of their product.

Amazing food. Was our first time here and we will definitely come back. Lamb chops are the. Prices very affordable. The owner came and asked if everything was OK and Thanked us. I recommend this place over any high-end restaurant

I like the Adnan and Kafta kebab. The bread is still warm while is serving and so delicious.
The customer service is also another reason for me to go there frequently.

Really dissapointed with the service. Recently, the patios were open for dine in. My friends came from Winnipeg, I took them to Tarquaz praising all about the food. The food was great but there was this young waiter who was really misbehaving with us.
We called ahead of time and asked until what time the dine in is open and if we have to reserve a table. We were informed that we don't have to reserve and the restaurant is open until 9: 30 pm, so we went to the restaurant at 8: 25 pm and there was this guy who said we can't dine in. We told him that we called ahead of time but he kept saying there is no table in patio but when my friend pointed out that there is one table, he had to take us there.
Before that we had to order, the bill was around $150 and more and I wanted to pay on behalf of my friends as they were visiting Edmonton but my friends insisted that they want to pay. But that rude guy said to us -: I DON"T CARE WHO PAYS BUT YOU HAVE TO DO IT FAST". We were really shocked and didn't say anything. We felt really humiliating. I will think again if I have to go to that restaurant.

Go with an empty stomach because you will be absolutely full when you leave. A great place to take kids. Look at their menu online and then have a great time with spiced but not spicy kabobs. We'll go again. Was referred by a friend who owns his own sandwich shops and deli. That's high praise in itself. Did I mention the free hot pita pockets and dip that they bring you at the beginning?

Ordered online for takeout. The place was a madhouse so our pretty easy order of two wraps was not ready in a timely fashion, but they were very good once we got them home.

So glad we found this place today. Our first visit but it will not be our last. Sammy at the desk recommended a dish after I had ordered. I took his advice and changed my order. Everything was amazing. We had the Chicken Thigh dish and the Chicken Kabob. Huge portions. Great atmosphere, great service, quick service and great value for the money. I will be going back. They bring out hot bread with a homemade Tzasiki that is out of this world. Bubbling hot. I have never had bread like this before. It was a Pita that had ballooned up from heat.
I will be back for more.

Love this place so much! They are always busy no matter what time it is, and they know how to navigate when they are busy. No mistakes or running around trying to catch up. Awesome portions, I had the grilled pompano and ate the whole thing in one sitting it was so delicious

Wow. Great food. Definitely recommended for family gatherings with children. Great value for what you spend. I recommend all of the kebab platters.

Very bad customer service, unfortunately. We have ordered something and we got something else and instead of an apology they asked asked to pay extra. Then the guy who’s wearing black shirt was complaining and didn’t care about us to leave the restaurant.

Its is not easy for anyone to keep quality food the way this guys doo every single time i pickup food its fresh and awesome i live on the southeast side of edmonton and still take a 35 minutes drive once a week to pickup food because this place is just awsesome.and I highly recommend this place

A good friend of mine walked in with her resume and asked if there were any positions available.

She showed the Manager in charge her past experience working in kitchens but then was immediately turned away with the comment,

"We only hire men to work in the kitchen, women make to many problems"

I understand if he feels that way but to say something like that to a young woman's face with a smile is disgusting.

We came to this place for a meeting.we heard about this restaurant from quite a few people. Well, we were not disappointed.the crew were so friendly and we had an excellent feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we shall definitely come back again. Recommended.

The staff are friendly and helpful, it's a warm environment, and the food is remarkable. The portions are so large that a small person could probably get 2-3 meals from one serving. The salads are very lovingly made as well, which I think is as important as the meat quality. Cannot wait to visit again!

First time to have tried the place. Ordered fish and mixed barbecue meals along with kubbeh for an appetizer. Food is prepared to a great taste and the price point is relatively ok considering the quantity. The place provides a complimentary basket of fresh bread.
Fountain drinks are also available if you go with the choice of a fuzzy drink.

This restaurant lost a regular customer today. The worst customer experience ever! We came in at 9: 40pm and asked the server that we will order something quick, eat and leave quickly. The server denied very rudely as this restaurant doesn't need customers. There were almost 20-30 people were already inside the restaurant and eating. The server could have easily accommodate us but he denied rudely. I will not come again and will never recommend to anyone. The restaurant should train the staff and teach them some etiquette and manners.

This spot is worth giving a shot. They have large portions for reasonable rates. Regularly clean and with great character. Would recommend to others.

Here serves the best chicken thighs. Overly priced but worth the money paid for. All the items are excellent. I love your food guys!

I'd say the price is well worth the quantity and quality of food. Tastes great and the wait time isn't too long either. They have a great range of prices depending on how much you want to eat. If you're feeling hungover or just want a regular sized meal, just get a wrap/shawarma. The lunch specials or meal sized things are pretty huge so unless you're a growing boy like my relatives say I am, or if you're sharing a meal with someone, then stick to a wrap.

Place is amazing, lots of menu choices, friendly staff and patrons, unlimited drink combinations to choose from, beautiful decor, will be recommending to everybody I know!

I find it ironic that the owner is getting people to write positive reviews about this place. You can deny it all you want but wallahi the truth will come out. You guys know nothing about managing a business. Everything about this place is illegal. Sammy is a rude, sexist and a racist manager, if he doesn’t like you he’ll cut your hours, as he’s always playing favourites. Mehmet doesn’t do anything about because it doesn’t affect him in any way. We don’t get paid time and half for working on holidays, we didn’t get paid for training, heck we don’t even get paid on time and that alone is enough to shut down kebab house. Also when I came back from my trip, I was fired without notice even tho I gave a 4 month notice that I was going on vacation, out of nowhere I was kicked off the schedule, that alone just says how bad of a manager Sammy is if he can’t fire his employees in front of there faces. I’m surprised I lasted a year at this place.

Amazing food! Probably one of the best restaurants in Edmonton food is amazinggggg. My favorite worker here is a girl named Samah she’s super fast and very friendly and gives amazing service.

This is the best restaurant. I worked with them. The owner and his family are the best. They treated me like part of their family and the manager samy is a great person, we are still friends, when I was pregnant he showed understanding and respect.

Really authentic. If you want to add extra pickled beets theyre "purple pickles" on the menu keypad.took the server and i a few minutes to figure that out but theyre happy, polite and helpful.

Excellent food.

Went back for second visit as I said I would try this place again after a poor experience the first time. I see all the other great reviews, and pictures and the food looks great. There was also a large representation of Lebanese, Syrian etc people eating there but the wrapped Beef Kebob and fries I tried again today wasn't very good. Meat was over cooked, semi dry and almost no flavour in the meat or the sauce or filling. Fries were done well but very small order for $3 and these are peel on fires so half of them weren't really edible.

The service was okay, not great. There are far better Lebanese food places in town and they are a whole bunch less expensive on top of it.

Got to say I was pretty disappointed that my second visit was just as poor as my first one. I really like Lebanese style grilled food and Lebanese hospitality, this place displays neither good food nor true hospitality.

The main reason this place does well is lack of competition. Food is decent and edible, but nothing you’d swear by. If you feel like eating this kind of food, your options are very limited in this town and this is probably the least bad option. If they opened in Turkey, they’ll probably go bankrupt in a few days.
The set up is fast food set up, the staff is friendly but there isn’t much service so you can’t really judge based on that.
The main problem is the quality of the food ingredients, it just feels (and tastes) that you get a low quality meat and an inferior cut. For the price you’re paying, you’d expect a little bit better.

Excellent Lebanese restaurant, a place to really enjoy a plate of Lebanese cuisine at affordable prices.

The only restaurant in the Edmonton area that beats this place is Paramount Fine foods

I honestly eat here everytime and I get more and more impressed by the taste of the food. I try to get something sdifferent everytime and it is absolutely tasty! I would HIGHLY reccomend this place and continue to when I come across my friends. When they go, they tell me it’s the best food they have tasted and soo convenient for our Muslim brothers and sisters. I love the prayer room and Wudhu room. It’s amazing.

In the many, many visits to this location, I’ve never had a complaint. The food tastes amazing all the time. Staff are always nice too. Won’t go anywhere else.

If I had a chance to give this place 0 stars I would. This place treats their employees insanely wrong. Calling them fat, ugly, yelling at one just the other day for spilling water. We are human we make mistakes, this business will never be getting my service again. After seeing another civilians review a certain employee that was talked about got called by the owners wife just to be called sensitive, the same exact day the review was left. Please never give your business to this restaurant.

Great place. My dish was not so good. It was the iskender somthing but all my family liked there's dishes. Will need to visit again and try something else.
