I LOVE this place! They accept walk ins, so it’s super convenient for me when both of my dogs need their nails clipped.
Request leanne if you can, she is extremely kind and she takes a moment to comfort each dog before clipping their nails. She doesn’t rush the clipping. Our vet won’t clip our one dogs nails, Beucase has such high anxiety, but Leanne takes the time to talk to the dogs. And she is able to clip our dogs nails. No problem! The level of customer service not only makes my dogs comfortable, but me as well. Thank you Leanne for being absolutely amazing!

Dog's eye was SCRATCHED during grooming which developed into an Ulcer on her eye. Has to wear a cone for a while now. Staff would not fess up. I would avoid this place.

Very fast and easy to get in when it comes to needing nail trims for my 2 kitties:) will keep coming back

I was referred to Twisted Whiskers by a random stranger when she overheard how dissatisfied I was in the way I was treated at Pet Planet at Jasper Gates.

Long story short, Andrew was the gentleman whom looked after my little girl's cut. Charlie, my pup, was so badly matted, that I expected a large bill and an extended delay at the very least. Instead, Andrew finished ahead of time and did an absolute terrific job. My best friend is so incredibly important to me and Andrew did his utmost to take care of her and put her at ease during her brief visit. As well, the bill was extremely reasonable too.

Bottom line; Twisted Whiskers have won our business, hands down. Thank you very much Andrew and to your teammates, I will definitely see you folks again in the near future!

Wow - this was my first time bringing my two dogs to Twisted Whiskers and Andrew did an amazing job. My dogs aren’t the easiest to groom either. One is a puppy and this is only her second grooming but she has high maintenance hair and my other is a large bernedoodle that has issues with having his nails clipped, because he is so large and strong and has a dislike of the nail trimming most groomers choose not to do it and even the vet chooses not to do it unless he has taken anxiety medications. Because Andrew was patient with him and gave him a break when he needed it he was able to get them done. There is definitely a reason they have great reviews and those with anxious animals choose to come here. He did a fantastic clean job cutting their hair and absolute best of all - THEY CAME HOME HAPPY! No shaking, no distress. They came home and had a small nap and carried on like they never had their hair cut today - this is the first time I can say this has happened. Did I mention Andrew cut both of their hair in 3 hours? !? Thanks so much Andrew, you have a gift.

Side note: they are VERY well priced. My only regret is that I didn’t see my dogs before I paid and tipped. I would’ve left a much larger tip! Next time ️

These guys have been grooming our dogs for thr last few years and find them reliable and priced reasonably. Like all groomers they are busy so booking in advance is important. We will continue with these folks for sure. Thank-you.

So happy to have been recommended this place. My dog has high anxiety and is known to bite groomers, making him know as a difficult dog.
Tina has taken him on with ease, when I pick Arlo up she always says that he did great. He doesn’t seem nervous going in there. They are quick and efficient

I have a 3 year old rescue husky/retriever cross. She is a sweet dog but still quite timid.

I was quite worried how she would react to a bath, undercoat brushout and a nail clipping. Being a husky x I was expecting the bill to be around $75 or so. I was hoping to pick her up in an hour to an hour and a half.

About a half hour after dropping her off I recieved a personal text from Andrew letting me know Blossom was ready to be picked up followed by an automated notification.

When I picked Blossom up she was happy to see us and was not shaken at all. She had a cute little flower in her hair which my girls loved. Andrew let me know because it had not taken as long as estimated he would reduce the price to $44. Wow! I felt bad for wasting some of his time but he was very gracious and told me not to worry about it. He then Ga e me some pointers for at home dog grooming maintenance.

Great service. Took very good care of my timid resuce. Very happy with the results. So is my kitchen floor. Heh.

Side note ; I really hope I have Andrew's name correct. Twisted Whiskers, If I don't please correct me. Appointment was June 4 at 9: 00 am.

Took my dog in today and was really happy I did. I’ve had issues with every dog groomer I’ve been to due to Dexter being hard to handle. He’s terrified of water.

He has environmental allergies so he needs to be bathed at least every couple of weeks. It was always a nightmare taking him in. He’s a Basenji, so small, but can he fight!

Andrew took him and I was literally shocked at how well he did with Dexter. I am so happy I went in today and would definitely recommend them. Everyone there was so friendly and I will 100% be going there from now on.

Took my cat here, they treated her very gently and did a great job at trimming her fur. They even threw a free nail trim in. Thanks so much!

Took my dog here because my BFF has gone here few times. So far, it seems great. The gentleman who cut my dog's hair was very nice and even trimmed alittle more from to ensure I was satisfied.

Great place with caring staff.was a long time customer of clippin along across street but they are now closed weekends. With as many customers I saw wanting weekend service I'd say it's a good business decision to be open!

We have brought or Bichon Frise here since 2010 and we like them very much. We tried a few other groomers but they were not consistent nor reliable.

They are super accomodating and their staff are great! They groomed my senior doggy who has balance issues and they did a phenomenal job.

Today was the second time we took our dog in, needless to say we will not be taking him back. When dropping him off at his appointment time, the girl at the front seemed to be inconvenienced with his arrival. When picking him up it was stated “ he doesn’t like his paws being touched. ” Once in the car we noticed 3/4 of his paws were bleeding. And although blow dried, he was still damp and we noticed hadn’t even been brushed. Which was the reason we took him in the first place. Overall very disappointing!

Review for cat owners: When I booked my cat in, I explained that she is very nervous and scared around dogs. So they booked her in for later in the day, saying there usually weren't many dogs around at that time. When I went to drop her off, there were kennels full of dogs, with lots of barking dogs. There were also extremely loud machines. They also wouldn't groom her unless they cut her nails off (which I have never before encountered at a groomer). Additionally, they wouldn't let me watch what they were doing or stay with her (which I also have never before encountered at a groomer). Needless to say, I didn't feel comfortable leaving her there. The women at the counter was very nice about it and didn't try to charge me, which was wonderfully appreciated. Additionally, they referred me to a place that does only cats, which was also appreciated. All in all great customer service, but if you have a cat who is scared of loud noises and dogs, this might not be the spot for you.

I had high hopes for this groomer as we had heard they took the time to care for nervous animals but we walked away a bit disappointed. Our dog looks great and clean and the price is certainly good, but we felt they didn't really hear our concerns about our nervous dog and didn't ask how they could help him feel more comfortable, what kinds of things he was nervous about. They didn't seem to take our suggestions seriously at all about what had helped him in the past and just moved him through like any other dog that was more comfortable with being groomed. They also seemed surprised at the end that he was nervous and difficult to work with when we had made this clear at the beginning. I don't think my dog had a great experience there and I don't think we will come back.
