I previously have had sub par experiences with neighbourhood dealer locations and decided to try this location instead this time, even though it was further for me to go. UJ and Nikhin made both my pick up and return experience so smooth and easy! Will definitely be back to this location the next time I need a rental!

Check your billing, rented a trailer for 5 hours and they charged my cc for 4 days. Had to call and ask for it to be reversed. (they did reverse without much hassle)

Very helpful staff. I had never rented storage before and they were able to get me up to speed seamlessly. Units are super clean and modern. This is a new facility worth taking the trouble to find.

This specific location is amazing. Their storage units are clean, easily accessible and the staff is super helpful.

Drove into this location after a one way drive from US and had some difficulty taking off the chains of the trailer, but the staff was amazing and helped me get it off. Checkout was also super fast and easy.

The person who was in charge of the storage was very polite and walked me through the process.

Even after multiple visits, the staff has always been very helpful and nice. Would definitely recommend this location for truck rentals and storage.

So the reviews here are pretty true, as it turned out. After 20min on hold I’ve decide to take the vehicle in person, and even then the employee messed up with my booking and put the wrong time of drop off:)

So I was forced to call early in the morning to their customer support line in order to change that and to avoid extra charges. This locations was the closest one, but if you have the ability to chose from - it’s a big No No.

We had a storage unit booked, I made the booking on June 6, to move our stuff in on June 26. So almost 3 weeks in advance this was booked.
They called me on June 19th saying that actually it is first come first serve and they gave our unit to somebody else. I have an email with my booking confirmation and nowhere does it say anything about it being first come first serve or not guaranteed. A booking is a booking.
They then said if we still want to have a unit there, they can give us two smaller units, but we would need to book it now to secure it (June 19) therefore the monthly renewal would occur on July 19 so we would end up paying an extra month. This was not acceptable to me, we didn't need storage until June 26 so why would I want to pay extra? Just a scam to try and squeeze extra money out of you.

We are moving from a different city and we booked in advance to ensure we had somewhere to store all of our possessions until we could take possession of the new house. This kept me up all night worrying about what to do.

I ended up cancelling it and going with a different provider. Screw this shady business owner. 0/5 do not recommend.

Overall the experience utilizing this facility has been excellent. It is clean, well-lit, and quite secure. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

The only recommendation is to have more staff available to assist customers to reduce wait times. Perhaps the installation of mobile kiosks or the use of tablets to help rather than waiting to be seen at the desk.

I will definitely recommend and/or use this location in the future. Keep up the excellent work!

I had help from Sahil, he was very professional, kind, he explained everything about my rentals and showed me how to get to my storage. He helped me with the boxes I bought and he was very informative. I would recommend his services for everyone. That was the first time someone at uhal was so kind and knowledgeable! Grateful to meet this guy!

My experience at this location was incredible! From start to finish these guys really know what they’re doing and they really appreciate the customers! I had a mistake on my online booking, but Dinson went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of despite the mistake. When I arrived the process was explained to me clearly. While I was waiting for the hitch to be installed, manager contacted me to apologize for the mistake. Once the installation was completed, the workers showed me everything that was done and tested it all in front of me. To make up for the mistake, I was offered a discount on another product or a discount on the service that was provided to me that day. Sahil, Adithyan, Lijo, Ujwal, and Dinson all worked hard to make sure that my needs were met. I will have no hesitation in referring my friends and family to get service done at this U-Haul location.

Employees here genuinely will scam you out of money by altering your contract and then refuse to assist. NEVER rent from here, every other rental business is cheaper, provides better service as well as better vehicle inventory. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Pros: Really nice storage facility. I like that i can drive inside and move my stuff into the building without worrying about weather. Staff is really nice here. Clean building, everything looks new

Cons: storage access hours are not the same as stated on their website; see attached screenshot. I just started moving my stuff in today and was bringing another load to my unit but i was told the store closes at 8pm. The website says 10pm. There is a dumpster near the exit so not a lot of room to safely get a longer vehicle out. (Glad i didn't unknowingly bring my trailer)

Great customer service, especially Nadin at the office. She was very helpful and understanding. The other staff, Sree, Princy and Hanna are great too. There were very accommodating and try to help if there is any issues or mistakes.really recommend this location!

I rented a storage at this U-Haul self-storage facility where I met a dedicated team to make the customer feel special and happy. They will do this in a very professional and friendly manner, going an extra mile in order to make sure that your needs are perfectly met. The facility is very well equipped and clean. It looks like the management does a great job!
I would like to mention Mr. Dinson Devassy, the General Manager and Princy. They provided me with an exceptional customer service and would like to thank them both!

Compete headache. Was given the 1 month storage promo with trailer rental. Storage room door was broken and they were suppose to send us the new unit # (they did not), asked about 24hr access (we were assured Sun night we could come.late to unload), arrived at 12am and could not get in. Called the number posted for after hour problems, woke the guy up who said they close at 7: 30pm. I said I was looking at the 7days/week 24hrs signs. I was told they closed early because the door broke but they never bothered to send out an email (which would of saved us driving with a full load). I was told I have to come back a 7am to unload. I explained that we had to unload the majority of the stuff into the storage unit to reach the stuff in the back to take in the morning to my sister 's on my way to return the trailer by 9am (on my way to work).
There was no way we could unload in the morning, drive back to my sister's to unload and back to the unit to have it by 9am. I said I need it till noon to get it done. I was told.ok, after dropping it off and unloading, we were charged an extra full.day on my credit card an hour later. We even discussed with the kid that checked us back in and they said they wouldn't charge us. I tried the 24hour cell phone number with no answer or return of my call.
I was then on hold for an hour just to be hung up on when they answered at that branch. I called the main call center after that and waited 20 mins but got a helpful lady who understood and refunded my money right away. This location is giving them all a bad reputation.

Great u-haul outfit, they were understanding and flexible when I needed to change my booking. Everything was adjusted on site. The receptionists and Adi in the yard provided exceptional customer service!

The experience getting the storage was good. However returning the unit they let a lady cut in front of us which was not right as we had waited awhile. This type of customer service is poor.

I called and was on hold for 40 minutes. Decided to drive there while on hold. Another 20 minutes to get there and was still on hold. There were 4 people behind the counters who were not that busy. Decided to drive to U-Haul Barlow Trail Nd although they were busy with just one representative present I was helped and walked out under 30 minutes.

I was nervous as uhaul has bad reviews most places, but the person at the desk was kind and helpful, even offered to cut open the padlock I bought, and the folks hooking up my trailer did e erything thoroughly and kindly without me even asking

Parts not delivered when scheduled, service had to be rescheduled to a long weekend holiday. When called about the delay, no one knew when my parts would be delivered or where they were in shipping.

They don’t follow appointments. Arrived 25 min early, was told 2 hours. Came back in 2 hours and they hadn’t even touched my vehicle. 5 employees standing around looking dumbfounded when I ask if my car is done. Such a waste of time. Go elsewhere

They have all been very friendly both (in person) and over phone. WHEN we can actually get through to speak with someone WITHIN a reasonable time.and therein lies the first major issue.

Hold times are way too long (45 min plus!? !) and there's no option to NOT be placed on hold.and no frequent check in WHILE on hold, nor any recording to indicate the call hasn't been dropped accidently.
I recommended to the Manager Dinson that they at least ask a customer if they can wait on hold for a few minutes and if not, get their name/ number and CALL THEM BACK (within a reasonable time and the same day obviously.)

Another major issue we experienced was once booking a reservation and going to the depot, the U boxes weren't ready and we spent another 1-2 hrs waiting.
I understand everyone seems to be short staffed (not sure if that's an issue here.)

The U boxes are a great value and product overall but it would be great to offer one location in each quadrant of the city.and perhaps it would help take a load off of this location.no pun intended:)

We were rwnted u haul track for moving
The fuel gauge didnt show the proper level of fuel gas. The fuel consumption was only 30 cad, but because of that very bad indicator which doest work properly, u -haul company got 50 cad of fuel exstra. They didnt give us money back even recompensation. What is more the staff in there is rude. I will never recomend your company to anyone. Shame of you.

Just saved myself 60$ for taking a picture of the gas level before leaving there lot and after I droped it off. I put 25$ before returning it.

Arshdeep would be a blessing to any company. She is efficient friendly and has a professional attitude. She was juggling so many responsibilities because of being short staffed and yet she held it together and I was super impressed. You need to hire someone to help keep your good reputation going.

Outside their location is an absolute mess. Broken pallets and debris all along customer parking and the enterance of the building.

When you order supplies online they don't take it off the shelf. If there is low stock there is a high chance of the product you paid is in someone else's hands. Very poorly managed. Manager called me and then proceeded to blame their employees instead of taking responsibility due to giving me the wrong sized boxes.

Had they taken the time to set aside the supplies when someone orders something this wouldn't happen.

I didn't catch the young female employees name that helped me but she did nothing wrong. She was dealing with me and another customer at the same time and waiting on the phone for head office to answer some type of order dispute.

While the manager was sitting in the office not helping.

Called this place several times and every time they put me on hold and left me there to wait ai wasn't able to talk to anyone and book my cargo van, good luck U Haul u lost customer. You know it will be courteous to go back on the phone and tell customer that you still busy and to call later but you leave people to hang in there forever.

They are ok. The people that work there were fine, just do what needs to do.
The equipment I got was old and in need of general maintanace. Again, just ok. Everything worked, but not without effort. Everything was rusty and corroded. The tie down straps were there and worked, but we're very worn and freyed making it difficult to use.
Some simple maintanace would go a long way with the equipment

Great service and friendly staff.
Booked a 4x8 over a month in advance. Booking was easy online. Showed up and was somewhat apprehensive that they wouldn't have the trailer or reservation. Was great by a friendly staff member at 7am and the support staff was great at getting hooked up.
Very pleased with the service and nice to be able to rent a critical piece of equipment for moving our son. Kudos!

Excellent process to rent/return a small moving van. Good selection of vehicles, good prices too. I'd recommend this location to anyone requiring moving bans, trucks, equipment or even storage facilities.

One would think that the whole goal of a UHAUL vehicle rental company would be to maximize the days that their vehicles are rented out and on the road no?

I rented a van here for 2 straight months but on multiple occasions received threatening phone calls from a lady who works here stating that she would "call in" the van to authorities and demand that i would return the van on very short notice. The first time she made this demand I complied and came in right away. I renewed my rental but because it was unexpected, I had more fuel in the tank than what was necessary (about a third of a tank more). She renewed it with the higher amount of fuel thus "stealing" about $30 in fuel. Considering that one day is $19.99 for a rental that is a day and a half of rent extra that i was forced to pay.

The second time she started harassing me I just told her to leave me alone and not call again.

When I returned the vehicle she was not onsite (thank goodness) and when I spoke with the staff on hand they admitted thay there have been multiple complaints about her. With this acknowledgement I expected a sorry or compensation, especially when I explained about the fuel theft and all I got was "yeah, that is not right. She didn't do the job properly. Here is a 1-888 number where you can complain. " Are the staff so disempowered that they cannot troubleshoot and solve this problem themselves? At Enterprise Rent-A-Car they most certainly are.

I guess UHAUL is in a league of it's own (Bush League) and will be recognized as such.

OVERCHARGES. DO NOT rent with them. They will tell you one thing but will do another just to overcharge you. The same as previous reviews here, they told me that I could return the trailer anytime as long as it is the same day. Lo and behold, the day after I returned the trailer I get a bunch of late charges. Thinking it was just a mistake, I opened a dispute in their website and did not hear back from them for 2 months. After 2 months, I get a collections notice in my mail for the extra charges. I called Uhaul and their answer was simple, we have it under contract so pay it! No listening nor understanding, they simply treated me like I committed a crime! Never again! BE AWARE! Do not rent from them!

Do yourself a favour and don’t bother visiting this U-Haul location. I cannot remember the last time I was this frustrated with a company.

So we booked a 20 ft truck online for our move and needed it for 48 hours. We get to the store to pick it up at 4: 30 pm and the staff member working there tells us we’re due back the next morning at 6: 30 am. I was speechless. My boyfriend stated we had made the reservation to keep the truck for 2 days, staff member rudely says “absolutely not”. Then we ask what if we don’t bring the truck back on time? He proceeds to tell us “then we come in guns a blazing” (No word of a lie). So we take the truck and he books us another one for two days later. We ask if there’s any discount in price since we would only have the truck for 12 HOURS. Nope, nothing. We never received any notification that our reservation had changed. Brutal customer service.

So we call the customer service line. The lady on the other end is nothing short of an absolute saint. She says she has no idea how they messed our reservation up so badly. Within 20 minutes the whole thing is dealt with and we have the truck for the next 2 days - no problem at all.

In short, save yourself the trouble and book with another U-Haul store. It is not worth the stress or your sanity to deal with this location, as it seems that the staff have absolutely no clue what they’re doing.

Very poor service as they told you can return it anytime between the rental just park it where you got it from no one told about the after hour fees which was same as rental. When called they said we don’t tell that to customers.

Absolute trash customer service.

We booked a trailer a week in advance through their website, they called the next day and said that they had to change the location we picked up at because they didn't have any at the location I ordered from. That was fine.

I ordered the trailer for 7: 45pm Friday for 24 hours, because they had no time on Saturday to pick up before 5pm and I needed it for noon Saturday. When I got the call I wasn't informed that the new location wasn't open that late and they changed the pickup time.

So on Friday I get a call at 5: 30 saying I was supposed to pick up an hour ago and that their location was closing at 6: 30. I live half an hour away from the location, and the person whose truck we were using wasn't able to help until 7.

The girl then proceeded to attack us by telling us it's our fault we booked last minute (I booked a week ago) and that basically we were screwed and they didn't care. That there's no way the other girl would have forgotten to mention the time change. (There's no way I would have agreed to 4: 30 as I wouldn't have had a way to pick it up)

My biggest issue is they made zero effort to help resolve the situation, and the person we dealt with escalated it and made it even worse than it already was.

Anyways, we decided to go with Home Depot. Everyone I know has had a terrible time with U-Haul, avoid them if at all possible.

This week my wife and I stopped by this U-Haul location and were fortunate to meet Jorden Cyr, the man in charge of the supplies, bookings etc. We were looking to package a painting to send long distance and inquired as to his recommendations. Jorden was very detailed in providing advice and suggesting the best materials to use. It was clear he takes pride in his work and is a good ambassador for U-Haul. Jorden, your advice was perfect. We were able to pack and send off the painting. Thanks!

Worst customer service and schedule to pick up at 10.30 and when I asked at 10 for giving me a truck they said there are all others waiting in line just because they came from another place
The lady was extremely super rude and did not even answer few questions
While giving rentals to others they were taking 20 minutes a person.seriously pathetic place to come again

This was the best UHaul (26') I've driven (at least a dozen over the years), and by far the best staff I've dealt with. They were quite busy this morning, but did their best to take care of everyone and compensate for the delay. When I had some issues with a billing issue on the UHaul site, Lydia (the GM) promptly took care of everything for me.
