Decent products great customer service. I would buy tools from here if they sold Milwaukee.

Great place to come for concrete supplies and tools. Always pleasant staff. If I had one complaint, it would have to be about their keeping stock of sds drill bits. They have been without 5/8” sds max bits all season long. I’ve had to go to other suppliers to buy them. When the other suppliers are out, they make a effort to get more in the next day to keep a customer happy. But not Unicon, they just say there is a supply issue and do nothing else but leave you hanging. Everything else is pretty decent though.

From the first contact online with Sabrina, to paying for the order in-store in Calgary, and picking up our order, every staff member was patient, professional, personable, and efficient. I highly recommend Unicon!

Very helpful staff and a good selection of products. There was a model that they did not stock but were able to bring it in for me. I live out of town and needed some supplies quickly. Staff made sure that my order was shipped within hours of placing it and tracked it until it arrived the next day.

Limited variety of items. Could be better. Very few anchors. Do not have epoxy packets and very.limited tool.selection.maybe I am not their target customer.

I’m not a pro so needed a bit of help and guidance. Staff really only answered my direct questions and didn’t start a dialogue with me to understand what my actual needs were with my project. It seemed like they didn’t care and didn’t want to help. I left the store confused and frustrated by the poor customer experience.

Sabrina @ Unicon was invaluable in helping me put together an order AND find a freight service able to bring it to my little corner of BC. Will use them again when I need more.

Absolutely fantastic experience ordering online. Unicon is the only place I could find that carries a specialty concrete repair mortar (elephant armour) that my local suppliers don't carry anymore, but since I live near the coast in BC, the freight charge is quite high for a dozen 50lb bags. I had left my online order in my cart while I was trying to figure out how I could make this order work with our pricing. I was pleasantly surprised when Sabrina, the ecommerce sales administrator, sent me an email asking if she could help. I was surprised this was done by a real person, not a robot! Sabrina ended up finding me a great solution that cut my freight cost almost in half and she gave me great pricing on the product as well. I couldn't be happier with my experience and will definitely order from Unicon again in the future.

Why would you go any where else beside here for your concrete issues

The are indeed a serious concrete speciality supplier, 1 of 3 places I got when I need concrete products. Generally leave with my problems, concerns, inquires answered.

Staff tend to be rather slow processing customers, for the level of organization and structure to this place you would think they would have the systems more streamlined for faster processing.

Overall it's still an unquestionable stop when you need concrete stuff.

I feel like a waiting area with lattes and kittens might be cool for the non concrete people waiting for their SO, but I hear this place has it all. I just smile and agree.

Although they do open to the public, but the publics need to know this is a concrete specialist store, not for asphalt etc. Staffs were very helpful.

Wow, what customer service, and great prices! I spoke to a few Unicon staff over a couple orders, and all of them were knowledgeable, and friendly. As a homeowner, I only required a few small items but I was treated just as well as any large business. I was really surprised to see their prices were actually better than any competitor I could find, and some of their tools were about half price compared to Amazon or Home Depot. I bought all of my tools in one go here, it was a no brainer!

Going into my very first concrete project, I had questions and a lot of uncertainty, their e-commerce team was top notch, Justin noticed that some of the components I ordered wouldn't work together, and reached out with some suggestions. He then put everything together and verified it would work prior to sending it out.

A few weeks later I was in a bind and organized overnight shipping and got the package out within a few minutes! This was a huge lifesaver, as I had a pour scheduled and I had contacted literally 50+ businesses around Ottawa and Toronto attempting to get the product. (I wish I had ordered ALL my products from Unicon in the first place, my first project would of gone much smoother!)

I have made online purchases recently for Buddy Rhodes products for a Kitchen Counter top project. The orders were shipped quickly and the customer service received was excellent.

Awesome company, I ordered a tool online from Toronto and there was mix up with the address, they called Canada post and figured it out same day and kept me in loop. Very prompt and fast service

They sell products they do not know. Doing research on internet will answer many questions they coul not. I looked for concrete densifier, which is not far-fetched.

Was refused service cause no mask.
City of Edmonton exclusions card did not work for them. They exist in their own world I guess.
I will take my business elsewhere.
Personnel was rude and barking orders. Disgusting.
No respect for privacy, so if you can't ware mask go somewhere else, stay away from this place.

Owner posted totally untruthful response, my understanding they mixed me up with somebody else. I was NOT offered shield, curbside pick up and such things due to simple fact I was not even evolved in any prolong conversation with staff. I was barked order, refused recognition on exclusion card and I just turned around and left.
Owner should be more careful and truthful on responses they posting.

As a homeowner needing some finishing supplies it was great to come in and get the right stuff.they even resisted me trying to lead them into bashing retail stores products.great sealant.

My recent dealings with Dallas at Unicom were fantastic. Excellent level of communication, service and assistance.
I received pictures of tools that helped to answer a few questions I had.
Dallas was even able to personally drop off my order at the shipping depot! That was very much appreciated as I am in need of the tools right away and I am in Ontario. I would highly recommend Unicon for any of your tool needs.

A few, days ago I posted a review about Unicon that in hindsight, I shouldn't have. I have removed the post and would like to apologize to Unicon for behaving the way I did, I've been under alot of stress as of late, but that is no excuse: an explanation but no excuse. The employee was only doing their job and even though I still disagree with the decision, I shouldn't have acted like a six year old. Everyone of them have a job to do, including the security team who are doing an amazing job btw. While I feel my situation could have been handled differently by staff, I suggest you find out through your own experience how Unicon deals with customers. Not all customers and situations are the same. Stuff happens, good and bad all the time. The important thing is how we choose to deal with it. Thats what counts the most.

First time at this store and my mind was blown how much inventory they have for concrete work. For anyone that places concrete this is the place to go!

Great family run business providing quality products & prices for concrete construction professionals. The large open showroom is great so can see and touch the tools and products you might need on a project or find stuff you didn't know was available but is! Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and really do a great job at customer Service!

If your in need of concrete supplies. They have everything you need from new builds. To repairs. From home improvement to commercial. These guys and gals know concrete. And they have free slushies year round. Who else does customer service like that?

Great selection and prices. The driveway sealer is really good quality and it's cheaper than con spec my old goto store.
