Great studio! I’ve only been able to work with Vivian in private sessions for Auditioning. She is exceptional and has perfected the art of Auditioning. And now, with everything bring online for the most part, it’s nice to have somebody that understands how to get the energy across.

I joined professional actor’s studio just over a month ago. It is very clear to me that this school is professional and has a genuine interest and care in the development and success of their students, ALL of their students.

The best acting studio in Calgary with the best prices! Viv really cares for his students success! I’ve learned so much in just a short period of time at this studio.

Our daughter has taken Acting Classes with Vivian for over a year and has done very well with her confidence building. She has also booked three callbacks and one role.

I have been attending classes here since I was 17 years old. I am having such a wonderful experience here! I started with teen acting classes, now I am in the adult acting classes. All of the instructors at this studio are amazing and push me towards my best potential as an actor. This studio has given me so many opportunities in my acting career. I have sharpened my skills in improv, cold reads, on-camera acting, monologues, scene work, etc. I love Universal Talent Film School!

Just finished Essentials of Acting Training with Vivian Woods. Excellent class. Very informative and fun! I am sad that it’s over. I look forward to the next class!

My daughter took their Stranger Things summer camp. Absolutely loved it so we’re signing up for the fall program now. Highly recommend it as my daughter has never been so happy to attend anything. She has committed to this and I’m so proud of her. Great team of instructors. Carla and Vivian were amazing with the kids.

I am truly having a great time! I have been professionally acting for over 20 years and I decided to take an acting class with Vivian Woods at Universal Talent Film Studio as a way to keep my muscles exercised and I must say I appreciate the workout that I am getting. I take a masters class and we are able to fully emerse ourselves in the work and be critiqued based upon how the industry will see us. We get an honest review from our peers and instructor, of our work in addition to learning more about the different techniques that can be used when diving into character work. I highly recommend this space whether you are a beginner or someone who has a little experience yet not quite to the point where you're booking regularly or an old hand at the business and you just need a good gym. It's been a great experience thus far!

My kids have done a few different acting camps and by far this was their favourite. It was fun and challenging and they were excited to come each day.

I have been taking lessons at the studio for 6 months now and have found the acting lessons to be very professional and comprehensive. The studio provides a warm safe environment to explore your talents. The group is very supportive and Inclusive. I really like that we get experience with different modes of acting such as improv, cold reads, monologues, and scene analysis…. Plus working with all of their sets, props and costumes is amazing.

Honestly from what I've learned there, I can apply to any field or industry! Classes for all ages if you really are willing to put in the time required to succeed at anything in life!
Although the teachings are great. Vivian Wood is an Amazing teacher and mentor which helped define who I am as a person.

I have no issue with the company, I’ve never tried it however I will not be using it due to the fact that the woman answering the phone didn’t actually care about talking to me.
I was just asking a few questions about how to get started as an extra and she didn’t care and was very rude and for that reason I will not be using this company
I’m not saying that this place is bad just saying they need to get a new receptionist.

I was able to get a recommendation from my favorite actress and I can say that it is well worth the money. I highly recommend this school for anyone who is looking to start out in the acting world.

I've been training here for almost 2 years and it's amazing. Through them, I've been able to book roles and also learn things that would’ve taken me years to learn if it weren't for them. I truly appreciate the work they are doing.

We enjoy so much being part of The Universal Talent family. My kid has been improving his actoral skills and developing other areas such as public speaking.
Vivian take care of the kids in a special way and they get along pretty well.

There is a huge emphasis on expressing yourself authentically and growing your comfort zone in all of universals classes. Which has me actually be more me than i am outside of classes. Even if you dont want to persue acting as a career.i would recommend it for the confidence builder alone

So grateful we found this business. Originally, my husband and I signed our kids up for their online improv classes. They loved them so much they are now taking 4 classes a week and this is seriously the highlight of their weeks. Lovely people. Honest, organized and we feel the prices they offer are extremely affordable. Considering our kids took acting classes in LA prior, this is truly a huge breathe of fresh air. Great knowledgeable teacher and both our kids have had a dozen auditions in just 8 months, 3 of them for Netflix! Very happy, will stay with them.
I also like how they guided us through every audition.

Love these guys. I’ve taken classes with them and some of my children and we’ve all booked work. Great place, honest agency, very connected and just really good people. I was also impressed as I used to be with another agency in the city and she talked trash about every other agency and I have to say that Vivian never once put down any other agency in the city. She has class like no other agent I’ve ever met and it’s truly connected from here all the way to the UK.

These online acting classes have been a godsend for my daughter during the Covid pandemic! She was bored to tears when we first went into lockdown so I decided to enroll her in the online kids acting class. These classes are now the highlight of her week! She's made friends in the class, has a blast, and it has helped her self confidence tremendously! Vivian is so passionate about acting and it has rubbed off on my daughter! I love watching her blossom from these classes and the best part about it is that she just now landed her first acting roll thanks to Vivian! She is over the moon! I just cannot say enough good things!

I have been taking some online drop in classes for improv and acting and am so grateful for our teacher, Vivi. She’s simply put one of the most incredible human beings I’ve ever met. She teaches with such passion and knowledge, it’s hard not to be inspired. I love love love her classes and am now registered for a 3 month program.
Forever grateful for the affordable prices and incredible online classes where I feel safe to be me and am not judged. Super fun! ️

Been with this school and agency for just over a year. I have auditioned for several roles and booked two. When I was on set, I heard nothing but good things from other actors and production about Vivian.

Classes are incredible. I had studied at VFS for a year program and then came to Universal, Universal’s classes are very intensive and Vivian really knows her stuff and how to teach so it’s fun. Has helped me immensely.

Professionals all the way. Walked in and was booked out on a job immediately. Great timing! Since then I reinvested my pay check from this commercial and have talked acting and modelling classes. Their instructors are all well known and connected. Now going to walk two fashion weeks! I’m so excited and grateful, these people are so helpful and honest.
I went to Premier and HGTV first, huge money grab with no pay out. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Call Vivian first at Universal.

I went to a VFS before and it was good but the stuff I’m learning here is hands on experience and techniques. I feel now I could actually book an acting gig from an audition.
