Urban Barn Mayfield Common

I was excited to go to Urban Barn to view their couches! The staff were warm and welcoming. Great service!

Nice store with beautiful high-quality furniture, most of which is made in Canada. It's pricy, but solid and made to last. This location has really friendly staff.

I shop and purchase multiple items at urban barn. My visit to the Mayfield Common store in Edmonton was disappointing and quite frankly, the stores’ staff need some training and disciplinary action. The “ manager “ never once acknowledged me, nor turned around to see if I even existed … when other staff were asking her questions to help with my purchases. Staff were more busy dusting or throwing a broom around than helping me. There was NO other customer in the store. I stood in that store, and at the check out counter for over 45 mins. No one stopped what they were doing to assist or problem solve so I could purchase the items I needed. I walked out of the store. I WILL contact urban barn head office to express my disappointment.

I hope the company pay the insurance and serve costumers that need a bit of help or spend lots of money in a piece of furniture and left out alone because there stuff can’t help.

Poor customer service. Two employees were too busy talking to each other at the counter. When I put my items on the counter to pay, they motioned go to the other side and had to call someone else to ring in my purchases. Made me feel like I was bothering them and in their way.

Be aware! Mayfield Common in Edmonton is NOT the location you want to shop at if you need any kind of management level support! The amount of sarcasm and mocking you will receive from both manager and assistant manager is disappointing.

The products that Urban Barn carries are awesome but some of the staff are unfriendly and really don’t care to help you unless your spending more the a hundred dollars I will still buy the products as I do love the decor in the store but I will never ask any of the staff for help as they tend to look down on the average person. It’s too bad because I’ve heard the same thing from other customers who now refuse to shop in there. Thank you

Bought two dining chairs from the As Is section, asked the woman helping me what was wrong with them to be in the As Is section. She noted that there were some snags in the fabric and that the buyer has rejected delivery because of it. When I got home and unwrapped, I noticed that a back leg was cracked. When I called to see what could be done the woman on the phone laughed at me and said I should have done my own inspection. Agreed, I should have looked harder but I did not appreciate the laugh and lack of honestly from the salesperson. I love this store but am very disappointed in the costumer service it received.

It is my favourite store in all of Edmonton, the products, the layout and most of all the staff are helpful, happy and make you feel special. Thank you to all Please stay safe.

Took forever to get item from back.one sales person went to back and never came back, one brought a damage item out and then finally one took the display item off the wall. I took the display item off the wall ten minutes ago and was told snobishly that i could not do this.

I don't get to shop often so when in the neighbourhood I stop in at Urban Barn. I always find something (big or small). I found some lovely red star stocking hangers for my fireplace so I could hang Christmas socks for my new puppies. I haven't put up a display yet, but trust me they are awesome!

Not happy with my experience. I ordered two big wall frame, but won’t help me brought it to the car. It is around 4ft by 4ft canvas and wood. Now being a 4’11 girl, I asked for help because it is awkward to carry by myself. The lady said she will only help opening the door. Now, I don’t know wHat is your policy but offer help when it comes to big stuff just like anywhere else. The store is in Mayfield.

The customer service at this Urban Barn is phenomenal! I ended up having an issue where my order was processed and then cancelled for two nightstands at another Urban Barn location as the nightstands were suddenly sold out. Upon writing an email to see if Urban Barn Mayfield Common had any left, they replied to me right away with a yes for one nightstand. From there I worked with Rose and she was so helpful! She listened to my concerns and aided me in finding a solution on how to get the nighstand over to BC which is where I am located. I really appreciated the amazing customer service and would definitely reccommend working with them if you have the chance!

We have outfitted majority furniture and decor for our house from this location. Jennifer and Coco have been so extraordinary is everything they have done. They have been very accommodating to all our needs and have helped out with our designs and visions. If you need any assistance at all, I recommend talk to Jennifer. You wont be disappointed.

Urban Barn has great quality products. But the couch I had delivered was filthy and had to have it cleaned, sent photos as well as video and no response. Have been waiting for a response for about a month. The Mayfield location manager clearly isn’t very good at dealing with customer issues.

Discreet and efficient service. Store well laid out. Found what I was looking for at comparable prices with stores of similar merchandise.

I’ve always liked Urban Barn products. During the uncertainty of Covid I’m not doing a ton of shopping to do my part at keeping myself & others safe, however I did decide to pop into the Mayfield Common location as well as the Sherwood Park location & I was soo pleasantly surprised with the way they are doing their part with Covid. Upon entry there is a sign stating you must wear a mask to enter as well as all of the things to consider before entry. Once I entered I was greeted by a very polite woman who quickly asked me a few questions such as have I experienced any symptoms of Covid, have I travelled outside or the country in the last 14 days, etc. They had hand sanitizer available & although all the weirdness of moving about with the thought of Covid in our daily lives it felt like a comfortable shopping experience. Big thumbs up to them for being a mandatory mask store & doing their best to keep staff & patrons safe.

Great looking store. I had to ask for help. Only 1 till was open which made me have to stand in line for 12 minutes with only 1 customer at the till. Several staff members chatting while I stood waiting to ask a question. I had to ask if I could ask them a question.

I have spent $10.000.00 thus far on new furniture here last week, I've shopped around looking for the right fit, pricing and availability all my other purchases will be made here as well, the staff where very friendly and helpful, big shout out to Jessie for everything I'm excited for delivery day! Thankyou staff.

I really like the dresser and bedside chests that I bought but I could do without the moldy smell coming off them. Especially as they are in the room where I sleep. This is the second purchase I have made from Urban Barn where the product reeked of mold. The first time it went away after about a week, so I'm giving it a little time. What's up with the warehouse?

Helpful staff, quality products, AND I found great sales! It's not often that you find all 3 of these in one store, but that is Urban Barn!

Really enjoyed our shopping experience at Urban Barn. We bought decorator cushions to go with our new leather couch and love the colors and quality of the cushions and will definitely shop at Urban Barn again.
