Urban Barn South Common

I searched online for desk, I finally found the perfect console desk. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but I decided to go for it. As the sales lady is taking my order, she kinda of slips in that I have to pick the desk up at the West End warehouse. I questioned her and said I'm purchasing the desk here at the South Edmonton store, can the warehouse deliver it to the store for me to pick-up, she apologized and said they can't. I said out loud if I ordered it from Sherwood park, I wondered if Sherwood park would have it delivered to their store, then another sales woman, in a very rude tone and escalated voice, said IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE YOU BUY THE DESK YOU STILL HAVE TO PICK IT UP AT THE WAREHOUSE, so aggressive. I wasn't even talking to her. I said I guess you don't want the $700 sale and left the store. I still ended up buying the desk online, and I will have to pick it up in the West End warehouse, lol. But ended up getting 15% off by ordering online.

Service was efficient and pleasant and hopefully my furniture will arrive on specified date. I love browsing this store. Kudos to the staff.

Purchased new throw pillows (6) for my new UB couch. Staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions and helping me place pillows on their floor model so that I could see the final look.
Love Urban Barn and have purchased many many items from their different locations without anything less then exceptional service!

I do not recommend this store, they cannot make my order on time also refusing to cancel my order. It seems they don’t care after they get paid.

Great selection, but the manager here—medium length brown hair, didn’t catch her name— is so rude that I’ll never be returning.

Great experience shopping here. Quality furniture, and the staff are extremely helpful, insightful, and polite. Special shout out to Mary Jayne and Michael who really went above and beyond, even stayed 30 minutes past closing to help me find the perfect items for my space. Refreshing to see this high level of customer service.

Visited the store today for the first time since the pandemic and I was very impressed. Thank you for safety measures you have taken. I love everything about your store and staff are always informed and extremely helpful.

The manager was very unprofessional. Went in he was on the phone talking extremely loud and laughing extremely loud. I wanted a refund, and waited 30 min for him to get off the phone.will not be returning

This was our first time in Urban Barn, we just went in to look around really, didn't have a reason for being there. There happened to be a big sale on, so I of course, was looking even closer at things! My husband is a terrible shopper, so he plunked himself down in a chair. The sales lady comes up to him, says something along the lines of "comfy hey? " my husband agrees, and she tells him to try another one (points it out) "it is even more comfy, and reclines! " I laughed and told her not to tell him that, he will fall asleep. She just laughed, and went on the grab me multiple items from the back so that I didn't have to take the display (even though they were just fine). Bottom line - customer service is FABULOUS! I wish I had gotten her name. And the product in the store is beautiful. I would highly recommend the Urban Barn!

Very nice furniture and the staff were very professional. They understood that I wasn't there to buy, so they refrained from looking over my shoulder the whole time, hoping to make a sale like many other stores do.

Shopped on two separate occasions. July 26 and 27. Clean, organized store which was beautifully decorated. Great selection of items paired with a great sale made for a good first experience at Urban Barn. Will return. Staff was warm and willing to assist.

They were able to have a few things delivered to our door and it showed up less then a week later.

Purchased a couch 1 month ago. Received a phone call from an associate advising the couch is lost. Not sure how you lose a couch. No solution offered other than to purchase the same couch in a different colour for an additional $300. Was told I would receive a phone call from a manager and still waiting. Unacceptable.

I just got bar stools from urban barn as I really liked them but got really bad service as they didn't assemble them even after it was written in the delivery note for warehouse. I had to first pick these bar stools from the warehouse and then found them not assembled. Now urban barn asked me to come to store for assembling them. I won't recommend them for all this discomfort.

After writing this review, I got notified by message to vist Urban Barn South Edmonton Store. First of all, got the bad customer service again as the staff seems to be confused always about their appointments. They don't care about your time and treat you like a garbage. This store is par below as per canadian customer service standards. Though I got my stuff assembled after arguing with them but still it is very awkward to go to this store again.
