Amazing staff and service. Des takes her time and makes you feel comfortable with all procedures. Her knowledge of procedures is incredible and will only offer what will actually work. So pleased with her work. I’m thrilled! Thank you for being so patient and kind.

I wanted to give my friend a birthday present and paid the deposit for Deserae to do some treatments on my friend. After Deserae cancelled on her 3 TIMES, which it sounds like she does often to people, my friend decided not to book again. First she said she had Covid (my friend had already gone to the clinic before she got the message), then she didn't have the product and then she had to go to the hospital or something. So of course my friend decided not to bother and wants the deposit returned so she can use that money elsewhere. We have been getting the runaround trying to get back the $375. She does not return messages, has not returned the money.so of course my friend is trying to get in touch with her. Deserae is now saying that she is harassing her and extorting her because after getting really frustrated with the lack of communication or response, my friend finally said that she would report her to the College of Nursing if she didn't give her back the money. I'm not sure why she won't return the money, but it makes it sound very much like fraud. I can't comment on her services, but I can definitely say DO NOT give this person any money in advance!

***UPDATE: Deserae, I think you know this is not a scam (besides that I don't know what I would be scamming you for?). My friend Loretta has been trying to get back the money I paid for non-service, so I think I have the right to personally leave a review. Although I am not the one trying to have services done, I was the one trying to pay for it. This is a direct experience with your clinic. You can choose not to respond to this if you like. It doesn't erase the fact that it happened however. This isn't the first review you have received about this.

If you can actually get booked and not be cancelled multiple times, you will be happy.
Really frustrating cuz you’ll get messaged back promptly to take your money for gift cards and be ignored for appointments (other than to be cancelled).
I feel ripped off that I haven’t been able to use my gift card in over 3 months!

I have went to Deserae for fillers for 2 years now and I had no problems with her at first. However, I recently bought a gift card from one of her promotions. I booked my appointment online for February 8, at 10am. I texted her a couple days before and asked her if I could maybe come in at 9: 30am and she agreed. The day comes she texts me to come at 10am instead, which is fine since it is my original appointment time. I show up 15 mins before my appointment and there wasn’t even nobody in the building. I text her and she tells me she’s running late and will be 15 mins late. At this point, I would be waiting 30 mins outside in the parking lot. I wait 15 mins and still not there. I text her and cal her, and at this point I was already frustrated, because as a customer we are expected to show up for an appointment on time but it’s unfair because the owner herself can’t even do that. She explained that she had to go to the supplier to get some materials, but why are some customers getting prioritized on top of the others. I had heard many stories that she had done this to multiple clients, not showing up, cancelling appointments even if they’re 2 mins late, not replying back to reschedule, etc. I didn’t want to believe it because like I said, she’d always been pleasant to me. I had reached out to her on Thursday the 9th and I still haven’t gotten a response and it’s the 14th. At this point I really don’t want to do business with someone so unprofessional like this. Deserae please give me my money back.

I did a review on this company days ago. Their lack of professionalism in following up with messaging etc was outrageous. What’s even worse—was that the review was deleted! As I said before, if I could give a zero I would. Too bad I can’t as a 1 skews the stats.

I wish I could keep Urban Oak a secret, because they are that amazing. They take their time to explain all their services and what to expect as well as making you feel extremely comfortable the whole time. Follow up is equally fantastic!

As a medical aesthetician/skin care specialist myself I totally trust Desiree with my face, and Love this place, highly recommend. Great work/facial balancing, amazing prices for great results. Won’t oversell you on the amount of filler or Botox you need in order to achieve your desired result as many places do. It’s easy for many other places to say “in order to address those specific wrinkles or that facial volume loss in those specific places, because there are nerve endings here or there, you will need this amount of filler in this area and this amount in that area. ” When truly you likely could treat another area with far less product. They oversell because we the client don’t know where the nerves or veins are or what areas are best to treat.

Working in a similar industry I’ve seen hundreds and hundreds of injections not achieve the types of results Desiree does for the best cost. I am Always overly satisfied.

Working with skin myself I’m very aware that many things can affect results (thickness of collagen, how fast one’s cells turn over, even the amount of red blood cells or blood/oxygen levels). Knowing this it is hard to trust people with my skin/face.highly trust and recommend Desiree/this place

Deserae is great. She's so friendly and helpful. I have unbalanced lips, and for some reason, other injectors were not quite able to figure it out. First appointment with Deserae and I feel more balanced. She also is not pushy at all, and she did not tell me anything else to do unless I asked for her advice (another problem I have had in the past). I love that her mode of communication is text, and she often has deals. I am very happy to have found her.

Purchased 750.00 +GST in fillers last year but was (and still am) unable to use due to medical problems in my mouth and parotid glands. Apparently there is no refund even though my receipt does not reflect that anywhere. Deserae has no compassion for people in my situation which is sad because she is a nurse practitioner. This money was gifted to me to use as I wanted. I feel like I was taken advantage of at 71 years. Be careful when purchasing from this business. Know what you are buying and ask questions.

Deserae did an amazing job when I came in for my lip fillers. She made me feel super comfortable when I was a bit nervous- she is such a nice lady. Would definitely recommend!

Deserae is terrific! She provides excellent consultations, never tries to talk you into things or get you to do unnecessary procedures (she really subscribes to "less is more"), and is a genuinely lovely business woman. Additionally, as someone with health issues, I really appreciate she takes the time to check into how any procedure may interact with my chronic health conditions. Her pricing is very affordable, particularly for the quality of results. Highly recommend this clinic!

I have been seen Desiray for a few months for iv vitamin therapy. She's amazing. I feel greatful to have found her.

The clinic is very clean and very comfortable.
Everything is thoroughly sanitized.

She is very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. She also has a very gentle touch which is so important when your seeing someone for Iv or injections.

If you are looking for a nurse practitioner or a clinic for your health/ wellness and beauty needs I highly recommend her.

She offers alot of variety in her services and all are more than reasonable for pricing.

I've been seeing Desarae at Urban Oak over the last 5 years for both lip fillers and botox and have always had an amazing experience. She is very knowledgeable, professional and talented, and can always answer any questions or concerns I may have. I always love my lips after she's filled them, they look beautiful and natural, not overdone. Recently, I started getting botox from her as well and am thrilled with the results. I loved my treatment with Deserae. She was professional, courtesy and efficient. I've done Botox for Hyperhidrosis for years and the questions and options before the treatment was the most tougher I've experienced. I would definitely go back and highly recommend her for putting anyone at ease and doing a great job.
