I don't normally leave reviews, especially not bad ones, but I found their business practice to be questionable. The quote I got on the phone was 350 and when I had arrived it changed to 650 on the low end, and up to 950 on the high end. I felt like leaving right then and there, but because I had already made the drive with my pet, I felt I had to pay a lot more than what I was told on the phone. I understand that the vet can be costly but they should be honest about how much it costs on the phone, instead of quoting you a lower price to get you in the door.

From my first phone call for help, to every visit afterwards - I can't say enough. Every visit has been timely, informative and met with a care and compassion that I had never experienced before. It's about your pet here - for sure. Just getting in to see someone when you really need it, means so much. So impressed with the after care, and follow up phone calls too. Higgins will be going here for a looooong time.

Everyone at Tudor Glen is always so friendly and sweet to Tessa, even when she’s being a grumpy cat. I always feel confident she has excellent care while there.

Thanks to the staff for getting our little Bulldog Junior all fixed up yesterday. He's doing so much better. Already back to himself lol. Thank you for not turning us away. This is the 3rd Bulldog we have registered there and each time we always come out happy with the visit.

My cats always get the best care by all the staff and every veterinarian. They submit my pet insurance claims on my behalf and follow up to see how all my babies are doing. Totally recommend to any pet owner.

Greeted nicely and promptly. Everything was ready for the appointment. Vet understanding, clear in her explanations and intent. Very accommodating. Have always treated us well.

Our family made the hard decision to put our Pitty Girl down after the best 15 years with her. They went above and beyond for us during our difficult time. The compassion that was not only shown to our family but the care for a fur baby was more than the greatest. I would for sure be taking any future animals back!

It was really great. We needed somewhat urgent pet care, they were there! Simba fell or jumped a height, banged his chin, several cuts and was limping. It was great to have him seen ASAP.

This is an amazing clinic! All of the staff were so kind and caring. I would 100% recommend this vet.

Went with my daughter to have her old Dane put to sleep. Emotional time, to say the least. The staff here are so compassionate and caring. The environment is lovely. Nice room with couch, fireplace, tables, and bookshelf. Like a small living room and not a clinical exam room. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. Even had treats for the dog that my grandson enjoyed giving him. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
This is second time using this vet office and highly recommend them.

Our little girl Pepper passed away at an odd time over the weekend. Tudor Vet was one of the only clinics open later on a Saturday, and they couldn't have been more sensitive and accommodating. We were in shock, but they handled us with the utmost care and understanding. I really appreciated their calm in the midst of a very traumatic and emotional time.

The staff went above and beyond when our boy was suddenly sick and we had to put him to sleep. They made his passing a little easier to deal with. Would definitely recommend

For 20 years, the Tudor Glen Clinic has taken the best care of my animals. They have done it with professionalism and excellence but most of all, love and compassion for the animals and what they do.

I have been going to Tudor Glen for the past decade at least, as I have had my dog for the past 16 years. They are so kind, always helpful, and most important my dog loves it and always feels comfortable.

They fit us in quickly for an emergency and the staff were amazing and very helpful! Puppy made a full recovery and we have a great vet!

We received excellent and compassionate care for our senior dog over the holidays. The veterinarians and staff were all wonderful and caring.

This clinic only has one resident vet. Everyone else is subcontracted. As such they will not review your pets file prior to a surgery. They will hold your love hostage! Take your loved ones elsewhere.

Always in good hands here. Takes the time to explain things so they make sense. Would recommend to anyone with puppies or kitties. A+

All of the staff are incredible. When it was time to say goodbye to our golden lab, Dr Fitzpatrick was absolutely wonderful and compassionate. All the staff were so kind during such a difficult time. She has also helped with taking care of our basset hound as well, along with Dr. Wilde (who is also a wonderful and knowledgeable vet) Recently our new puppy had an eye infection and Dr. Smith helped us, she was just as great. You can’t go wrong with any of these wonderful vets. Worth the peace of mind knowing our pets our well taken care of. Thank you for everything you do! Best vet clinic by far!

Professional and very caring staff. My Roxie usually has her quirks about strangers but is comfortable with them, which to me, is very telling. I usually trust a dog's instincts. Thanks guys for being great

I would just like to say thank you to the staff at Tudor Glen Vet. Everytime I'm in there, the staff and doctors are so nice and compassionate. I just put down one of my pugs last week and today I recieved a condolence letter with little notes and signed by many of the staff. That meant a lot to me losing one of my best pals and getting that from them. Thank you Tudor Glen.

I had brought my dog in for routine vaccines and a checkup. My Sadie suffered a severe allergic reaction to her vaccine (one in ten thousand was indicated). I believe that she was given a Benadryl tablet and not an antihistamine shot and was watched for a few hours. When I picked her up her swelling had decreased only slightly. I was given a Benadryl tablet for before bedtime. The “cost” of treating her reaction to the vaccine was mentioned but the assistant indicated they would recover the costs from the vaccine manufacturer. (2 Benadryl tablets and the use of one of your cages for 2 hours). I found it off putting that the focus was on money and not so much the care of my dog. To further my disappointment with your clinic, there was no follow up call the next day to see how Sadie was doing. She had a severe reaction overnight and was up till 4 am shaking, vomiting, eating grass. She has never been so sick in her life.

And yet no follow up phone call.

I was happy that they identified my dogs as soon as we walked in (I had three of them with me!) They were very patient with all of the dogs as they sniffed around excitedly and then got us into a larger room so that we could remain comfortable.

Everyone I dealt with was great with the me and my animals. It was a lovely experience.

My 17 year old cat, Rosco, was not doing well and I made the necessary but difficult decision to have him put down on Saturday morning. On Friday evening, however, things quickly went downhill; he appeared to be choking and started gasping for air.
It was 22: 30 and I called Urgent Pet Care, desperate to bring him in. They told me that I couldn’t as they weren’t taking anymore clients. I asked again as Rosco was clearly suffering but I was directed to the next closest emergency vet clinic, which is located in Sherwood Park…over 20 minutes away.
The receptionist was not rude and she sounded sincerely sorry for what we were going through. I don’t blame her at all for what happened to Rosco in the last moments of his life.
Despite Urgent Care being a five minute drive from my house, I bundled Rosco up and left for Sherwood Park, unprepared for the heartbreak I was about to experience.
I will never get the sound of his cries out of my head. I won’t ever forget the look on his face as he gasped for air, writhing around on the seat next to me and then in my lap as I tried to calm him. I hate that after 17 years of being one of my best friends, all I can think about is his suffering in the last few minutes of his life. He looked at me as if to beg, “Please do something! ”
This could have happened on a night when Urgent Care wasn’t open. I could have be living somewhere hours from the closest animal emergency centre. But it didn’t and I don’t. Urgent Care was open and I was less than five minutes away. I don’t expect that people should have to stay long after their prescribed shifts, but in the case of a companion animal’s welfare, I would have hoped they might have.
The staff at the Sherwood Park emergency vet clinic were wonderful; they took immediate action and Rosco didn’t suffer much longer.
I didn’t intend on writing this, but once I read multiple negative reviews, I felt like adding another might just help to bring about some change. Veterinarians are spread thin and the expectations being placed on them are greater than ever before.
But…if you aren’t going to do what you say, maybe you shouldn’t do it at all. I don’t know how Urgent Care is structured but based on my own horrific experience and reading the sad stories of others, something is broken.
If your pet is in need of emergent care, don’t waste their time and go directly to Sherwood Park.

The two staff that were on last night were great. I brought my pup in who just had a spill down some stairs and hurt his paw.
It was evident to me as soon as I walked in that the urgent care staff’s first and only priority was the animal care. Chubbs is doing great thanks to Urgent Care!

Terrible, terrible experience. I arrived at 10pm when their website says they are open until 11pm. I called the clinic in advance after my dog ate chocolate and I didn’t get an answer - the voicemail said they are open until 11pm and that if they weren’t answering then they are busy with other patients. We rushed to the vet and the clinic was closed. The lights were off, the parking lot was empty. This is unacceptable when this is the only listed late night emergency vet in all of St. Albert - this wasted precious time during a potentially critical situation. Would recommend not even wasting your time with this useless place - you’re better off driving to Sherwood park or the south side of Edmonton rather than wasting your time with this place.

Just had the craziest emergency vet visit ever.
The vet didn’t wear gloves, didn’t pet, talk to or acknowledge Tucker (my dog) in anyway, and had me act as his assistant during treatment. Honestly thought I was being Punked at one point.

Poor Tucker suddenly started bleeding from one of his ears today, like ALOT, we had our own mini horror show going on every time he shook his head. I think it possible he had a cyst or similar that burst or detached, cause yucky things came out when he shook his head too. Long, gross story short, his vet couldn’t see him and I couldn’t leave him like he was so I took a recommendation from a different vet to try St. Albert urgent Care.

The ”vet” with no gloves on proceeded to clean Tucks ear with nothing but lots of paper towel. When blood dripped on the floor, he tossed me the paper towel roll to clean it up!? !? He didn’t take him anywhere to treat him just a roll of paper towel on the floor by me. In the end he could make no diagnosis other than Tucker is bleeding from inside his ear not his outside. (Yep I know).

He gave him a syringe of stuff to help stop the bleeding then had me assist with holding the now blood covered ear to keep the meds in, while he watched me do it for 15min. By which time I was covered in blood, when asked how I could clean up he put some hydrogen peroxide on a paper towel and handed it to me to wipe up with!? !?
It was so nuts! And cost $178!

Ironically my gf and I have both taken our dogs here for the same emergency (fairly large gashes) Both times they were super accommodating, got stitches done right away, and took very good care of our babies. If you are in a pinch and need after hours care this is a great place to go!

Had pet emergency. Showed up without appointment and was attended to beautifully. Professional. Caring. Helpful. Great vet practice.

Amazing clinic! Everyone on staff is incredibly kind, efficient and friendly. They even called a couple days after my kitten's visit to check in on how he was doing. The vet (forget his name) was very knowledgable and eased my worries by putting everything in easy to understand terminology. I recommend this clinic to anyone with a pet!

I called in about my dog passing a foreign object. The receptionist assisted promptly, gathering information which she quickly relayed to a nearby tech. (Wish I could recall both of their names!)

Within seconds the tech picked up with warmth and concern. She fully assisted with asking details about my dog’s condition, breed, and actively listened to my observations to assess if she required urgent care.

Obviously feeling like a shameful dog mom for not knowing my pup ate something she shouldn’t have. I didn’t feel a sense of judgement or condescension even once.

She answered every question I had and let me know upfront what they would do if I brought her in and the costs associated if I needed to without having to ask. Additionally, she sought advice from the vet who also advised to keep on watch but not panic.

Lastly, she asked where I was located providing the name and address of the nearest 24hr emergency clinic for care if any signs should appear.

Thankfully, I did not have to rush my pup in and was not pressured to. Still on watch, but impressed by their response!

Review worthy when 3 people are quick to assess and provide advice selflessly. It provides insight that their hearts are invested in the well-being of your animal.

My puppy had gotten into some chocolate brownies, we had originally called pulse ER and they said to come ASAP to induce vomiting. Waited over an hour and we still weren’t triaged yet. Called this place they said nope come on down right now we’ll start the vomiting right now. Hurried down here, and they were outside within 30 seconds to grab my puppy. They made her vomit quickly got some of the chocolate out checked her heart and gave her charcoal, and gave me a run down of how she’s doing and recommendations going forward with her care for the next 24-48 hours. We’re back at the clinic waiting for her to come out any minuets now, it’s only been 30 minutes and the ladies on the phone are very nice. We will definitely keep this place in mind and call them before going to pulse or VCA first. Haven’t gotten a price yet but honestly I do not care.
Best move I made was leaving to come here instead.

They were able to get my dog in asap. Told me fee's ahead of time so there were no surprises. They were very kind and sweet to my sick pup! Can't thank them enough:)

I can’t say enough incredible things about the angels that work here! They are so compassionate and helpful with my corgi. He is a handful, and they’ve helped me out numerous times. It’s very comforting to have people who genuinely care about your pet and also feel like they care about you, too! Amazing.

Cat had an ear infection that really bothered her and I was scared to find someplace during this time but they were reassuring and extremely kind! Everything was done so well and the doctor explained everything so thoroughly! I feel calm and confident having my animal be in their care. Amazing service!
