V Burger

Loved this place last year! Don’t often leave reviews but I wanted to share that a miss the vibes and some of the menu. They had this crazy lemon blueberry shake last year and the service was way better! When asking for stuff like a strawberry v mix or a Chocolate dipped cone (have been back twice) the lady at the counter made some weird remarks about her “DIYing it” (since apparently that’s not a thing) and that she can’t really do a chocolate dipped cone so I got a bowl. I got both of these last time and no questions asked. Felt sort of bad for asking to order these items. I’ve cream is delicious tho! Just wished it was like last year.

First time visit, I was very impressed. Their vegan nuggets tasted so real I started questioning it. Also got the V burger and it was a good option for sure

As a non-vegan, and advent food lover, I was truly impressed by V-burger’s ability to fool me and make an incredible burger without any meat! 5 stars, would dine again! Tried the chicken, and bbq bac’n, absolutely phenomenal!

Great experience! The food was really good and they didn’t take much time to make my food. My favourite was the southwest burger.

I just tried Odd Burger a few weeks back and was really curious to try V Burger to compare and I was very disappointed.

I give it a star because their ice cream is okay, but everything else was pretty bad. Bland burgers, small portions, the prices were outrageous. I thought when I ordered I'd get a good quantity but was really disappointed.

I think I'll try to come back maybe for their ice cream but most of the menu that I tried (burgers and breakfast) was pretty bland.

Sorry to say, I was pretty hopeful after trying your competitor.

I ordered a BBQ Bac'n Cheezburger, poutine and cookies and cream shake. Absolutely everything was fantastic, I just wish the straw was a proper wide mouth milkshake straw so I could get more in my face quicker

I love this place. If you love blizzards but want a vegan option this place is incredible. Everything is fresh and so tasty. Dining in is the best so you can enjoy the chill atmosphere.

Marcella very kindly served us, always an insanely good vegan meal here. This is our favourite, quick service vegan restaurant in downtown.

I have always been in search for great vegan options in the city that are affordable, delicious and a fantastic atmosphere and v burger checks all the boxes. Especially compared to other places trying to enter the plant based cuisine game - they are so far ahead of the rest and a favourite dining spot for the family. Their burgers are next level and so many options. Sure to find something to enjoy even for non plant based customers. And their ice cream options - so customizable and fun!

Love having a vegan fast food option downtown! Hope to see them expand. I always bring my friends here.

This is an incredible place with very tasty food and the ice cream and shakes are fantastic. I recommend to everyone.

The plant based burgers are amazing, They have wonderful onion rings, especially when paired with the ranch sauce for dipping. Milk shakes are top notch as well. The chickn burgers don't quite hit the mark for me but to each their own.

Love Vburger! BBQ bacn cheezburger with ranch and grilled onions is my favourite. Tried almost all of their ice cream options, so good. Vanilla sundae with chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce and Oreo is delicious, I recommend everyone to try it off their DIY desserts section!

I recently found my favourite vegan fast food burger joint in Calgary and I couldn’t be happier! I only just discovered this hole in the wall and it’s hands down the best fast food and the best vegan fast food I’ve ever had. All freshly made and served. The service is always so wonderful and quick. They have everything from mock chicken wraps to bacon cheese burgers and even ice cream. Make sure to try their homemade v sauce for lots of flavour!

We were very excited to try VBurger for the first time and were extremely disappointed. From the moment we walked in the customer service was mediocre, almost like they were annoyed they had customers. The food is overpriced for what you get, considering the quality of food is below average. We both got good poisoning. There are so many vegan/vegetarian restaurants in Calgary we will support over this garbage joint

Big Kahuna Burger was delicious and it's so cool to be able to have vegan soft ice cream options!

Excellent food! You’d be surprised that it isn’t meat and cheese! Doing what we NEED in this world! The vmixes are fantastic! I love that they have soft serve! It’s rare to find vegan! The flavour has changed since they first opened, which kinda sucks but I’ll keep ordering it!

Burger kinda was average, but the fries and milkshake would have me going back there, so good! I got the strawberry and next time I wanna have the root beer shake

I visit V-Burger pretty regularly (and order takeout) and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and is probably the truest replacement to good 'ole "fast food" that I've had since cutting out dairy and meat. Service is always great as well. Love the big mural too, each time I visit I find something new to giggle at.: P

Got the original burger, tater tot and pineapple kubucha. They are all very tasty! This will be my to go burger place now!

I haven’t eaten meat in over 7 years and I’ve tried a lot of fake chicken. This place has the best fake chicken I’ve ever tried BY FAR! Thank you for satisfying a craving I’ve had for a long time!?

Delicious. I'm not a vegetarian let alone a vegan but their burgers are the absolute best. And service was friendly and genuine.

The patties don't taste the same as they used to before when they first opened up.

Cauliflower wings were good.

Just wasn't as impressed with the quality of the burgers.

The chick'n ceasar wrap was literally two pieces of chicken nuggets wrapped in a tortilla with a piece of lettuce.not good at all.

I don’t know if they changed the recipes but our meal was not good! We ordered 1 original V burger and a Fiery burger and both were very dry with no taste, the patty was tasted like straw. Couldn’t even finish it. I also ordered a milkshake and it did not taste the same as before, tasted like powder and some other base used. This use to be our go-to vegan spot but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be going back here again …

I love this place, and my husband who is not vegan loves it just as much.possibly more! This is one of my favourite vegan places for a number of reasons; the staff are always super friendly and awesome, the food is sooo freaking delicious, fresh, and comes in a timely matter, and they have such a great variety of menu items! Can’t recommend this place enough! I hope in the future they will have more locations:)

Was really looking forward to my first visit, but maybe it depends who’s cooking? All 3 burgers were cold, no sauce, soggy fries, for $50. Vegan Street was much better!

I'm extremely grateful that this place exists! Be warned! The burgers are very filling. If you get one, don't go crazy on the excess because you will go into "Itis" pretty quickly. The single burger and "milk"shake is to die for if you have any vegan or lactose free needs.

I'm not vegan or vegetarian and I love this place. First discovered it over the summer when they had a $5/burger promo. I ate here at least once a week when that was on.

Their burgers are _so_ good. It scratches every fast-food itch I get and leaves nothing unsatisfied.

Their ice "cream" is also tippy top notch. Hard to tell the difference between their vegan blend and the stuff made with cream. I've fallen in love with their ice cream sandwiches too.

Everything is delicious. Don't let the vegan part scare you off.

I’m no stranger to vegan fast food and this is among the best. We drive from Vancouver a few times a year to indulge. It’s essentially like a vegan Dairy Queen with better food options. So good!

Vburger has gone downhill since it opened. The food is overpriced for its quality. The last two times I have ordered a chocolate chip cookie dough v-mix, it’s basically vegan vanilla ice cream with like two pieces of cookie dough… definitely not worth $10+. Copper Branch and Hearts Choices are much better value and always have delicious food (including desserts) and great service.

Best spot for a vegan burger in Alberta. Always take time to stop here anytime I’m in Calgary. Taste is incredible. Better burgers than anything meat tasting by far.

A great vegan spot that offers sweet treats too. The fries are so good, light and crunchy. I’ve tried the regular burgers and found the consistency of the patty really good, not crumbling like some veg patties. The chicken burger was good but found it to be a bit heavy. The vegan cheese was impressive, I didn’t think I’d enjoy it but the taste was spot on to real cheese.

I 100% support this restaurant just for being vegan. But it’s worth five stars because of the delicious food and awesome desserts.
I’ve edited my review to reflect my new opinion of this establishment. Now that they’re serving the impossible burger I don’t consider it 100% vegan food. Not only that but they charge $7 for 4 “chicken strips” which I’ve attached a picture below of. Too pricey for food portions.

Solid for vegetarians and non vegetarians to! Corn dog, hash browns, and the burgers were all good quality.

Great experience! I had been craving a strawberry milkshake for WEEKS, I was deeply satisfied by what they made. The BBQ bacn cheeseburger was so flavorful and the bacn was crispy which I loved! 10/10 will be coming back: D

The burger was pretty good, the onion rings were excellent, the cookies and cream milkshake was okay. I'd like to go back to try other items on the menu.

Wow what a treat. I'm so happy I came here. It is delicious and made me stuffed. I found the burger was so well balanced and felt greasy in perfect way only a burger can do. It was tasty, hearty, and animal free. The fries were crisp and salty and the milkshake was outstanding. IMO tasted the same as any milkshake I've ever had. I hope everytime I come back here is as good as this time.

My one complaint is it's expensive. It's very expensive for fast-food.

This place is a must try! Best vegan burger in the city! And the gluten-free buns are dynamite. As a gluten-free, dairy-free diner, this place is impressive! I get the snack size (or junior) burger with fries and cheeze sauce split with my husband with a caramel toffee vanilla sunday and it’s out of this world! It’s also way too much food to eat and always leave stuffed!

This was my first vegan joint in Calgary that I checked out and I was mighty disappointed. The burgers were gross and the sundaes were too sweet. I got the cauliflower burger and my friend got a bean burger of some sort. The burger made me sick. I definitely wouldn't go back and I would recommend you skip this place. The customer service was poor. They should've offered a refund since we couldn't even eat our food, it was that bad.

Love this burger shop! Today I had their breakfast (vegan egg & avocado), vegan iced cap and the caulifritters with the garlic vsauce. It was amazing!

Minus muffled masks talking covid Protocols I felt safe.

Good menu selection (they even have a working milkshake machine!) I was and am impressed.
On 17ave (red mile) decent seating outside for summer and relatively enough seating inside for cooler times.
Food was good, I'd go back, first time there so I'd want to try more menu items before giving the food an overall review. I had onion rings (much less salty than A&W or other places, which is excellent) and the original burger I believe. It was good, I'd like to try a different burger next time for sure.

Great summertime place for lunch or a snack.

I really, really wanted to like VBurger. As someone who is allergic to dairy, I was so excited to have a place to go that I could eat anything off of the menu, including the milkshakes. Sadly, I have now gotten very sick twice after eating there. I don’t think I’ll be going back, unfortunately.

So I thought I'd order from some other place and they wound up screwing up royally. I'm SO glad I had to drive 30 mins out of my way to try these guys, my friend and I had the same burger.

I have ordered from here 3 times. The first time when they recently opened my food was great. The second time there was a hair in my food (I ordered takeout so I couldn't take it back). I decided to give them another try today and after eating a stale Southwestern burger and really oily caulifritters I have felt awful. My friend who only had the onion rings from there has also felt really sick after eating that. We will not be returning.

Great Vegan burgers, but sorry to see so much plastic packaging and plastic bottles though. Desserts nice but the ice cream a bit “chalky” tasting.

Mind blowing good "milkshakes! I'm always down for vegan food but when I heard they also had milkshakes I couldn't wait to go. 110% amazing! The food is Crave worthy as well! I'll be sending all my vegan/dairy free/ gluten free (can tailor to this) friends their way! Even anyone who doesn't have restrictions! So dang good

I really want to love this place. V for effort! And I really commend them for that efforts. But it is a tall order to deliver a vegan big mac style burger - because.it just ain't a big mac! Again.commend the effort but - tall order! And then the prices are quite high. Probably because they have so many options.not a bad thing but a trade off for sure.

That being said staff are very friendly and I do find myself coming back here. It's just they made it really tough for themselves trying to imitate non vegan and putting those options most forward.

Was really good. I am not a vegan person but the food was excellent. Lots of flavor and great fries!
