I recently bought a XC40 at Valentine Volvo and had the pleasure of working with Allan, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. He demonstrated a perfect blend of professionalism and genuine enthusiasm throughout the entire car-buying process.

I really felt that Allan was went above and beyond to address any concerns. He was never pushy and truly understood my needs, working toward my preferences and budget. He made the entire process went smoothly

I did visit other Car dealers, Allan's sincerity and customer service truly set him apart. Even though the other Volvo dealership is closer to where I live, I don't mind traveling a bit farther to have Allen take care of the business.

Very much enjoyed the whole buying experience, I highly recommend Allan!

I just bought my first Volvo a few weeks ago from Valentine Volvo. I have always wanted an XC90. Shannon made that happen and was great to work with. He answered all of our questions and concerns. He even made himself available on off hours. His cheery and kind demeanour put me at ease while I was making this purchase. My hubby and I just bought our first Volvo from Valentine. I’m happy to say we’re very pleased with our experience.

We started the process in October and visited several dealerships in search of a new compact SUV. I have to say from the start Shannon was friendly and professional and tried to get to know us better so he could make recommendations catered to us. We actually came to Volvo to eliminate it from our list of contenders and it quickly jumped to the top of our list.

We were not quite ready to make a decision in the fall and really took our time to weigh out our options. Shannon kept in touch with us along the way. In late December we went back in for a second look at the XC40 and Shannon helped us choose the right model for us. He was great at communicating throughout the process and helped us make an informed decision.

We took delivery of the car this past weekend and the staff was friendly and helpful. Odessa at reception remembered us from only being there a couple of times, which I thought was good customer service. Mila was very helpful during delivery and she ensured we were comfortable with using the vehicle, especially since it’s our first Volvo.

Overall, we had a very good experience and I would recommend this dealership to family and friends.

I get my XC-90 serviced here and have consistently had great experiences. The most recent was the best. I had two sick young children with me b/c the winter weather was changing fast and they were home from school. And the service appts were booked far in advance. So I brought them with me. Sebastian was super professional and helpful and made sure my vehicle was processed ASAP. Everything was smooth. The staff overall were so helpful and kind to my circumstances. We immensely disliked the car-buying process. Valentine Volvo was a breath of fresh air. Shannon made us feel like we were a team. He worked very hard to help us understand options and the car’s overall suitability for us. He was immensely patient. Mila helped us learn about our new purchase and Rebecca in the business office was fun to work with. A very strong team.

There were still many challenges with the process and it was very hard to decide on trim packages based on a name on an excel spreadsheet and small pictures on the web. There many other challenges but Shannon, Mila and Rebecca made it much better.thanks team!

Absolutely the best experience with a brand dealer I've EVER had! Everything from the word go was hands down a 5 star experience. Chose the used vehicle we were after, and they had the entire process wrapped up in 2 days. Amazed at the accessories pricing, the roof racks I wanted were 340 dollars cheaper at Volvo, than the CapIt Thule dealer. Also our salesman Trevor threw in some pretty nice extras. Barely used winter Michelin tires, and a completely new set of rims with quality tires. I've always been a fan of Volvo and now I will be a customer as long as I'm driving vehicles. Thank-you to Trevor, and everyone else who helped us into our dream car.

I don’t typically leave reviews however Valentine Volvo gave me some of the best customer service of my life! My (older) Volvo broke down in Calgary, it ended up needing a gigantic repair. After getting quotes from different mechanics, here was the most affordable. Their cooperation with working with me while from a different city was top notch. To say it was a seamless, FAST and thoroughly well done job would be an understatement! Thank you Valentine Volvo and Devon for everything:)

I don't write reviews often, but when I do, there's probably a good reason why. Recently, my family moved - out of Canada. We had purchased a Volvo XC90 back in 2014, and since it was our favorite car (and has performed admirably all these years), we didn't see any reason why we shouldn't bring it with us. That being said, bringing a car across the border requires a bit of paperwork, some of which was stuck in a moving van, the whereabouts of which were unknown. While I thought it was a long shot, I gave Valentine a call and asked if they could help me with some ancient paperwork. Much to my surprise, they were glad to do so - keep in mind that the odds of me spending another dime at Valentine is virtually zero, and despite this, they were more than willing to help out. If you are looking for a bit of "extra mile service", you have found it at Valentine!

It was a pleasure dealing with Shannon. We felt like he was really on our side and made sure we were completely satisfied. I love my new Volvo!

One word comes to mind: greed. I called to inquire / get a quote about replacing a water pump (as preventive maintenance I should point out!) on our daughter's S60. The lady that answered the phone after selecting "Service" said that would cost "about $900" (Did the same on our Mazda last week at 213k, cost was $275 plus GST for the labour with my own pump purchased from Amazon, I have the bill to prove it). Here's the sad part:
Being mechanically literate, I ask the lady over the phone: "During the water pump replacement process, the secondary belt has to be removed, correct? ". She agreed. Then I said: "Then, what if instead putting back the old one (i.e. Secondary belt") I'll give you guys a new one (purchased from a Volvo dealership) and you put the new one instead? (the amount of work is literally the same). She said: "If you want us to put a new belt back, we will have to charge you an extra $400 for the labour".
Wow! What labour? That removing and putting back that particular belt is part of the changing water pump process, it doesn't matter from a labour perspective whether the belt to be reinstalled is the existing used one or a new one!
Why do I let others know about this? Because, I asked Kramer Mazda the same thing when they changed my water pump last week, and the lady (Anne-Lynn, super-nice in comparison to the Volvo person) said, "Of course, you are 100% correct, if you buy a new belt, we'll put that one back instead of the old one, at no extra cost - which can be proven by the bill I have).
It's a shame that Valentine Volvo want (a lot of) money for something that other manufacturer dealerships do for free! So disappointed.
I anticipate that their reply to my post will be something along the lines of "Mazdas have timing chain and Volvos have timing belt, etc" Yes, but both of those are not touched during the water pump replacement, so don't buy that. Also, pulley tensioner is the same concept on both cars, so no hiding behind that either. The only difference.see my first line!

Shannon (yes the same name as me) was very helpful and friendly and made sure all my questions were answered. I felt everything was transparent and there was no hidden fee's etc when I purchased. My first Volvo and so happy I went to Valentine Volvo to get mine. Also, the car is amazing.

Just purchased our first Volvo here and couldn't be happier with the experience. Shannon was a first rate brand ambassador, helped us figure out the car that would work for our family and answered our many questions, both on and off hours. Yuan in finance was very helpful and knowledgable as well. We will definitely be back when it's time to upgrade.

My husband an I took our daughter to the dealership over the weekend, as we are looking to replace my current SUV for a V60 or XC60 within the next 12 months. We expressed this when we were greeted at the door as we did not want to take anyone's time when we aren't looking to buy right away. We were originally only looking to see the vehicles get an idea of cargo space, size, and how car seats would fit inside the vehicle.

We had the most attentive service from both Trever and Savannah, not only did they walk us through all of the features and functions they took the time to figure out exactly what packages we would like and would need to narrow down exactly what trim level with specific options to suit our lifestyle. Trevor even walked the lot with us to show us the different paint colors and show us units that had paint protection.

Overall the best car shopping experience I have personally ever received. - Valentine just earned themselves a life long customer. Thank you again Trevor and Savannah, we all greatly appreciate all of the time you spent with us.

After a disappointing experience with another brand's dealership, I popped into Valentine Volvo to have a look at leasing a new XC60. I was paired up with Savannah Pearce and it was easily the best car buying experience that I could have asked for. I explained to her what had happened and what I was looking for, and she immediately sent me off on a test drive, telling me to be gone as long as I wanted, and to really check out the car.

Once I came back, we chatted more, and it felt more like talking with an old friend rather than a sales transaction. We looked through the inventory and she found me exactly what I was looking for, on order, headed to their dealership in a few weeks.

She coordinated the trade-in of my old lease (different luxury brand), and matched the buyout value I had been offered before, and got me into the new car, for lower payments than I had been tempted with by the other dealership. Within an hour of arriving at the dealership, we had a signed deal. There was no stress, the negotiations were beyond easy, it was almost too pleasant! Haha

She was warm, friendly, easy to communicate with and kept me in the loop the whole way through as I waited for the arrival of my new car. I've already referred a couple of good friends her way, as I've never had a car buying experience quite like this in all 8 vehicles I've bought/leased over the years.

He was willing to answer all questions and we didn’t ever feel pressurized to make a decision to purchase a vehicle. I am a Volvo owner not only because the car itself is safe and luxurious, but mainly because the staff in sales and service have taken such good care of us over the past 17 years. I always know that Kevin in service will be honest about work needed on the car and will check in with me to make sure that my questions are answered. The technicians have always done a great job. My loyalty to Volvo cars is only because of the many people that make up Valentine Volvo.

Buying a car from Valentine Volvo was the easiest and smoothest car buying experience we have ever had. Shannon was outstanding. He was quick to respond to my initial inquiry over the online chat regarding inventory. He had the car we were interested in ready to test drive, after a quick introduction of himself and the car we took it out. Best experience at Valentine Volvo. We recently purchased a XC90 after test driving multiple different brands of SUVs on the market. We are beyond thrilled with our choice based off of multiple things. First and foremost is the Volvo brand. Safe, luxurious, dependable and comfortable. Secondly, the dealership and its choices offered, and thirdly, Shannon. When we first came in, we were paired up with Shannon to help us test drive some vehicles - not once did we ever feel pressured or pushed to purchasing. Not once did it feel like a sleazy sales tactic by any of the employees at Valentine. They stand by their brand and it speaks volumes when you let the product speak for itself. We were that annoying couple that test drove about 5 different models and not once did Shannon come off as annoyed or bothered by all of our questions. He actually was more inclined to help or suggest other options that would work for us. He really suggested we take the cars for a drive and never rushed us through anything.
The whole process itself was easy, inviting and transparent.
We haven’t had to do any servicing yet and expect the same type of service (not pushy or over-selling) when it comes to that.
I appreciate the way Valentine Volvo does its business and look forward to purchasing other future Volvos from here.

I wonder if i could have the option of giving zero stars to valentine volvo. Only sweet talks to the customer won’t be keeping you your customers forever. There has to be strong work ethics and honesty as well.
Saturday 17th July 2021 we had appointment for maintenance. We gave good tires and rims and believed that we were in good hands but when we got our vehicle back and 15-20mins later saw tear in our tire and rim that were scratched and called them immediately. But now they blame us for making that happen to our tires which is ridiculous. How can i cut the interior part of my tire and scratch my rim without making the outer part of my tire undamaged? That too in 15 mins of appointment was over. We are asking honesty in your part. Such is the manager Teressa and we got attended by Oscar. We are so unhappy because we paid so big fat bill for maintenance but the place we trusted for maintenance has made our tires and rims worse. What kind of service is this?
I am never returning to this place again. Disloyalty is not going to gain anybody anything on my part and Valentine volvo’s part as well. I know we are honest and this has happened when the vehicle was under your super worker’s surveillance. Just be honest and admit it on your part. I wish to talk to the person who is willing to listen not the people I have already talked with and those not willing to listen.
Very very unhappy and unsatisfied.

Price is a little much considering the new vehicle had trunk carpet up the door panels. Nothing like vacuuming your doors: (

I was trying to source a hard to find part for my aging Volvo and the parts dept at Valentine found my part after I tried every other major Volvo dealer in Canada and the US. Friendly staff and service, clean environment. Easy to find and get to location. Cars are available to sit in and check out which is great! I know it is the only Volvo game in town but they seem to still care enough to make the shopping experience enjoyable.

I purchased my Volvo from Valentine Volvo on 2/20/2021. This was my second Volvo XC60, but first purchase from Valentine. I had not been expecting to need a new car, and some unfortunate incident had me looking suddenly for a new one.

I was lucky enough to be paired up with salesperson Craig R. He was so great to deal with. Personable, kind, not pushy at all, and just overall a very pleasant person. Craig did everything he said he would, and made the experience smooth and as enjoyable as buying a new car can be. Craig also ensured that my car was perfect for me at the time of pickup.
Yuan was great, and got the me financing I was hoping for.
Claudia did a wonderful job with the delivery appointment, and explaining all of the new technology in my car to me. She even reached out the next week to address any questions I might have.

Overall, I had as good of an experience as I could have hoped for. Top notch place and staff.

i have been on the hunt for a nice car with my father for a few weeks now, and we had the pleasure to stop at valentine volvo for a brief look at cars last week.although we have not been able to come to a conclusion regarding our purchase, we immediately felt like family once we entered the store. Kate was very welcoming at reception and was available & ensured our needs were met until a salesman was available, unfortunately i do not remember his name but he was great and knowledgeable.it was truly a delight being in this dealership, if good feelings were our priority we would've bought a new car on spot!

I just purchased a new XC60 and the entire experience was fantastic! I never felt any pressure from my very helpful sales rep (Trevor), and all the other staff were very accommodating. The vehicle itself is absolutely amazing and I couldn't be more happy. Highly recommend this dealership!

Went to Valentine Volvo to check out their XC40 that we have in mind to most likely buy on October 10th. Johnston C.was our assigned sales guy. He is friendly, amiable and discussed with us the details of the vehicle that we were interested in. We had a wonderful experience dealing with Johnston. His service is a step ahead of the game, he made us feel like a long time friend, really personal without being pushy and I like that in a customer service perspective. Way to go, J!
The moment we stepped in the dealership, we were courteously greeted by the ladies in the reception that led us of course, to Johnston.
