Valleyview Park

Great little park to go walking. With it's small trails, you can put in 1000 steps or 5000 steps.
Lot's of benches to rest if you have mobility issues.

Awesome park for toddlers! Haven’t tried splash pad but we are excited to try it when ever it opens:)

I always enjoy the walk park in the summer for the kids. I also enjoy the wonderful view of the city and the paths you can stroll even in the winter.

Great for toddlers and there is a bigger park area for older kids as well. The splash park was not on when we visited, but it looked alright.

Valleyview park is a great place to take your kids for a small spray park. Not only do they have a spray park but they also have 2 jungle gyms, a baseball diamond, a volleyball court, bike path and a huge field with some hills. There was a situation with an unattended child and the way the staff there handled it was very fast and efficient. The bathrooms are relatively clean but it does not have any change tables so bring a change pad if you have a young one in diapers. All in all a GREAT place to go to with family, friends, or by yourself.

Excellent clean park. Great equipment. Waterpark is a great feature on the hot days. Could use another shade shelter. Lots of parking

Beautiful place to walk, run, play or even grab a book and a blanket and relax. However there is a concerning tent set up by the bushes close to the road where there is garbage and junk piled up around it. It is a worrisome sight to see.

This park is a smaller version compared to others in Calgary but do not despair, it is packed with features for all ages. The area is very well maintained as well. It has a large area for beach volleyball, two soccer pitches, a children's water park, a children's playground, a pond, ample paths for walking, connecting to other path networks. There are many park benches throughout the area, last winter there was also a pilot project which placed a portable fire pit near a bench around the pond. There are also several trash disposal containers available as well and there is a decent amount of parking. Last but not least, it is easily accessible.

Great place to go with your children of all ages. They have a little water spray park (showers and bathrooms to get changed in) a park built to cater to younger children and then another place for older kids to enjoy. There's also baseball diamonds and a beach volleyball court. I absolutely recommend this park.

Nice little splash park for kids and wonderful beach volleyball spaces! The pond is also nice and cozy.

It was very refreshing to have a Meet & Greet session for kids in that park during this pandamic time! It's a beautiful, serene place! Kids have alot of fun, there was play area, spray park, picnis tables. Kids used the coloured chalks to write on the side walk. They have really enjoyed for sure.

I feel so silly that I had not come here earlier! It is a fantastic place to come with kids and hang out!

The 10 hectares of beauty and recreation are a must to go and enjoy!

There is usually plenty of parking available and the views of downtown nearby are amazing!

At the park there is a kids playground with rubber flooring to make it safer. There are park benches to sit and chat with friends and there is even BEACH VOLLEYBALL here! Who knew?

Is park rivals any of the other parks that we have in Calgary. I feel blessed that we live in a city that has so much green space for us to enjoy for free.

You need to come and check out this amazing place! Bring your sun tan lotion. It gets sunny here for sure.

Beautiful, clean park! I will visit daily if I can. Have to say I was so shocked and disappointed with the litter, obviously a picnic site and someone left slurped, straws, food packages all over. Why are people like this won’t be long til this brand new park is ruined. Maybe needs garbage bins although has several in parking lot.

Great water park and volleyball court with sand. Fantastic place to bring friends and family and children. Obviously shuts down during winter but in warmer weathers it's a great place

This is a great public park. There is the fenced in water park that is open in the summer. Inside you find the water park, a play park great for younger kids as well as some picnic tables for groups. There is also public washrooms. Just outside the fence there are pathways. Up the little hill you find another park with climbing structures that older kids love. Along the pathways there is also a pond. Lower the hill there is a sanded area for vollyball games. If you cross 26th Street there is also an off-leash dog park area. Something for everyone.

It's such a nice park, it offers 2 nicely size soccer field, a great park for kids, also it has plenty of sandy volleyball courts. It's the place to be on hot days. Enjoy

Just love this hidden gem. There are volleyball courts, a baseball diamond, a gated toddler park with a spray center, pathways that run in all directions with great views of the west including downtown. A pond with beautiful small waterfalls and areas close by with benches. A larger playground for the older kids with disc swings (that fit many kiddos), balance ring, swing bars, and a climbing centre. One of my kids favourite!

Kind of a boring park. Nice view of the river and city, but very noisy from the Deerfoot traffic.

So they are in the process of redoing and installing the volley ball court? Beach? I am not a sport person, dont know what volley ball is played on, but you sporters got new sand! Also there is a splash park and new looking play ground. If you hike there are great trails and view overlooking the down town.
