I never go to value bud because of the bad customer service but I got a GREAT recommendation (pineapple God 1g pre roll) from the knowledgable fella that was working there this evening, somebody get this man a raise!

Last 3 times we have went in it ends up us leaving cuz how rude the workers are and end up with something we don't want when we told them what we wanted and end up with something we don't want use to like going in with the old staff wish they still worked there

Best place to shop for Cannabis. The manager is knowledgeable and friendly and the staff is great. Great customer service!

Great place.customer service varies over the phone, I guess sometimes someone isn't having a good day I guess.

I prob wont ever go here again.the employees are lazy and the one guy with glasses and curly hair was the worst. I literally walked out the door with my item (not opened) and I didnt want it so asked for a return.not knowing the policy they had.anyways he sighed and when I asked what was that about.he then told me about the policy. I took my money and left and will not return, I'll take my money elsewhere then to deal with bad customer service! Of you don't like your job.quit!

So the lady who was working this morning April 8th at about noon. Was picking up some product and as dhe has the one product in hand I also was asking about pre rolls in 5 or 10 packs. She says as police I can't buy over the limit together. I said that fine ill come back after to pick one out if I wanted. But she wouldn't give any info because she had a Oz bag in hand because it's over and said there's the menu. But if I don't know the product and could have it pointed out then I may not want to come in for it as sometimes they don't have some product in do to being out. She was not interested in verbally talk about other products cause her hand had a bag that makes it over the limit IF I buy it. But I have not yet bought it. Ridiculous customer service with her. The rest never had a problem in asking about any of there product. Maybe she needs some of there own product to injoy there job and not be so crabby. So she has band me from coming in for telling her she is ridiculous.

I dropped off my friend at this store during the day time and she said she’d be around 15 minutes so I went across to the Starbucks, once I was finished I drove across to pick her up and she was crying waiting in the cold for me, she spent a lot of money of cannabis as well as different dap devices and she was told she wasn’t allowed to wait inside the warm building until I was about to be right back to pick her up. It was not the cashier that helped her but a man that came out from the back and started yelling at her to wait outside for her friend. I’m in shock that a customer could be treated this way especially in the middle of winter and she had no proper jacket on and ends up catching a cold that night. Worst customer experience I’ve ever witnessed!

I am a regular at this particular store, and it’s really frustrating when I can’t even have someone speak to me before getting carded. The law is: anyone under 18 cannot purchase, possess, or use cannabis. No where does it say you can’t speak to me! If I ask you a question, you should answer it. When I go to purchase the weed, then you can ask for my flippen ID.
“Hey, do you have strain X? ”
“Do you have ID”
Very rude! I asked you a question, answer it! Customer service is still important. Card at the door if you want to run your business like that.
So off putting! If this continues to happen, I have no problem going elsewhere. Like liquor stores, there’s one on every corner!

Beyond rude and disrespectful Clerk here. Impatient. Condescending, she will chirp any customer if they ask any question with impatient response. This employee will cost this location a ton of business. It deffinately has cost mine.

They know how to treat customers like garbage, yesterday evening. The staff member Alisha (believe to be spelled correctly) had a rude attitude a few times at this location. Dirty looks and eye rolling is not an appropriate way to treat customers when asking for produces.

Decent prices i guess, but bought a honey stick battery for my cartridge and it worked.until i needed to charge it, then it never worked again.id gladly pay more for a pen battery that lasts longer than 48 hours then just gets thrown into a landfill for 10,000 years.i mean, i guess they didnt manufacture the pen battery but still.why stocks and sell something that reflects poorly on your store?

Between 7 PM and 7: 30 PM august 16th 2022 I called five times. And no answer. I wanted to know if they had an ounce of pineapple Xpress I guess I have to go elsewhere.

This value buds location has a better accessory assortment than many other locations. The staff are friendly and helped me grab some new tasty drinks!

Stick with the value buds on the south end by star bucks. They know how to treat clients. I’ve dealt with attitude a few times at this location but today after letting an employee know that they did not understand my question, I got nothing but attitude. In the end it was clear he had no interest in what I was asking. I got a better answer from the worker behind him. Then got to to leave the store… because I was right? Ya I’ll be done with this location as of today.

Managers cool, short red head chick is miserable and the skinny fella with blonde hair seems easily agitated and short with customers. Maybe it’s time to get some better staff that doesn’t come off aggressive or act like they are pained to answer a question.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very clean and organized and they have very reasonable prices for their products. Love coming here.

This is my fav shop! I love the selection and the service is fantastic. I'm loving the bath bombs and the drinks.

Generally I love this location, usually get the same guy who is amazing, knowledgeable and friendly to offer suggestions and input which is why I keep coming back. Today, not so much. Greeted by a red/organ rage headed girl, who wasn’t very knowledgeable at all. When asking about the pen batteries and the longevity of them her response was “I don’t know, they are made cheap and quick and depends on how you treat them, like if your going to abuse it and throw it in to your purse, then yeah it’s not going to last” I challenged that by asking how that would affect the life of the battery? “She said I don’t know, they are not meant to be used long term” so I asked her if the batteries in the pre kits are different from the one you can buy alone.she said “I don’t know, it depends on how rough you are with it”…ok.hoping to see my regular guy next time. She couldn’t even tell me roughly how long a battery life is and then had attitude with me when I didn’t understand her answers as they didn’t relate to my question.

Great people working there, love the recommendations aswell as the conversation. Price is great as well

Amazing manager at this location but a particular older female staff member is terrible to deal with customer-service wise and really threw off my experience there - so I tend to avoid this location.
*Edit to add - you still can't beat the prices though.

Great shop, most staff are very friendly and helpful. Except one who's customer service is seriously lacking. I approached the till and he just said "hello" monotone voice without removing his arms from behind his back or moving from his place. After standing there I looked at items and went to the other till where someone else had been, that person was in the corner drinking water. (get it) the man again just said "hello" monotone with arms behind his back. I then asked for something, then was asked for my ID very shortly.
After previously managing a cannabis retail store I was shocked to be ID'd after being in the store already so long. I'll be sticking to the location on resources, the staff are much more kind and actually ID properly.

Costumer service is amazing, excpecially from Alisha. She knows the product and is super friendly. Product is great quality but not costing an arm and a leg. Definitely recommend.

Can I give this place negative stars? Staff far from friendly asked for some personal suggestions or what they enjoy and the tender was rude and inappropriate.

Great staff cheapest government junk around and decent staff has alot of knowledge and pets are welcome i highly recommend this place above all others in my city

Probably one of the worst managed dispensaries in town would definitely recommend shopping anywhere else, maybe the other valuebuds!

The same great brands as offered all across Canada for the lowest price! What more could you ask for?

Really large great selection the most in town I'd say. Great friendly staff with solid recommendations, always my go to spot for picking up that fresh green herb.

Walked in for the first time and got greeted by a very friendly lady, great atmosphere with nice space, the lady very knowledgeable and helpful upon many of the questions i had.she knew exactly what to say and pointed me towards a great selection.will 100% recommend to anybody looking for a great experience i will be coming back!
