The folks here at Value Buds are always very nice and welcoming. Except for when I forget my ID, which is usually. But when I return with my ID, they get me what I need for some of the best prices around.

I wish I could give zero stars. It’s unfortunate because, this is my favourite place to buy green; amazing product but unfortunately very poor customer service from most of the employees. Horrible attitudes, very demanding, and unnecessary sarcasm. Too bad it wasn’t just easy to buy some herb.

Went into the store and met the manger Will. Super nice and helpful to explain the store.

However I have to give the 4 due to the boring way of displaying that the head office is doing to all VB stores. You don't even know you are in a cannabis store until you open up the package outside the store.

The hush hush way is not reducing any stigma.

My usual stop whenever I'm in town. Nearby shopper's drugmart and parking is okay for short term. The store itself is fair size with list of items. Including display glassware and accessories.

Almost everything was out of stock but was able to find something. All edibles out of stock also. The person helping me was very friendly though and helpful. I would recommend this place.

I'm a firm believer that it only takes one poor experience to drive a customer away. A brand new NOVA Cannabis store opened in Riverbend Square. Two days ago a very polite and knowledgeable staff member sold me a new VAPE. The one that I was using was hot and I suspected it was burning my tounge. On the recommended advice of the staff member I bought the VAPE. I used it two nights and the new VAPE is way hotter than mine now. I attempted to return the new VAPE to the store. NO WAY was the manager going to take back a product that I will not use again ever. For a brand new business in Riverbend they have made sure I will never step foot inside a NOVA CANNABIS Store again. I'm not saying all NOVA Stores have this lack of customer service because I have not been in more stores. I'm back to using NEW LEAF.

*edit* I would love to say how amazing the staff and company where about getting this fixed. Everyone there continues to be a delight everytime I go!
I would highly recomend Nova off whyte

I love this place but three times I've had issues with my product once I got it home. Twice I did not get the product requested and once I ordered 7g paid for 7g and got home to find in my bag only 3.5. Not impressed at that as it was never fixed.

So I did not want to leave this as a review. But something has to be said.

Yesterday afternoon at was at this shop to make a purchase. Very friendly and helpful staff, I must say. I did purchase 2 different strains of sativa. 1G and a 3.5g. So last evening I opened the 3.5 of Eldo sativa. And it was complete trash. No aroma, drier than the desert and the smoke was disgusting. Didnt even taste, smell or feel like I was smoking marijuana. Which I have done daily for over 20 years. So I take a look at the package. My product was packaged on Feb 14. So who knows the actual harvest date. I was sold 2 month old product which was dry, and had no actual consistency or comparison to actual marijuana. It is actually the WORST strain of marijuana I have ever purchased.

The icing on the cake. I was told I picked a great strain with a great high. It was absolute trash.

I will never purchase from a dispensary again.

This place is a disappointment for experienced users of cannabis. Anytime I've been there it's been on the weekend and they only ever have hybrid in stock, and have very little selection. It's also expensive. $35 for an eighth of "premilled" bud. What they mean is shake. Or you can get an eighth of full bud for $55 that's 3% thc. You're better off getting the outdoor stuff you used to get in high school.

Yrsterday, (April 10), we were very excited to finally visit this location. We had anticipated visiting for a while but have never been able to get here.
We were looking for thc/cbd caplets, after buying some in Lloydminster while travelling. We were approached after entering and asked about caplets. In fairness, we asked for cbd caplets not thc/cbd. We then corrected to the correct thing. However, the response was rude and and short and invited us to leave rather than continue shopping. She said no, we dont (carry them), and I suggest you go online or to your medical practitioner. So we left.
If she had asked what experience we were looking for or suggested some green that would give us the same experience or had even tried to offer something in the store, we likely would have bought because we were in the mood to spend.
Never going back there or to any other Nova store again. Worst customer experience ever.

Good dope shop, selection can run a bit dry and prices run up but in good time the market will equalize. For now I'd stick to buddy with the shoes out front, or maybe pick up gardening. But staff and service are great here, so when the day comes I shall return.

This is the best cannabis store in the city of Edmonton in my opinion, great staff, great product Sísifo and price. But i think they should sell their highest thc strains in bigger amounts than 1g. My suggestions are "donegal" and "río bravo".

Just keep buying off your connect. Over priced low grade marijuana. The pre rolled joints had a taste of sage, which was pleasant but also raised some eye brows.

Meh good place for new users. Very limited selection so for ppl looking for high level thc or unqiue strains may want to check before coming on what they have. Customer service is very good and lots of info and education materials

Im only giving 2 stars because ive just found something in my cannabis. I really already dont like the super plastic packaging every bit of weed i get comes in but now they are selling 1 gram in a container that usually is for 3.5 gram purchases. On top of this excessive packaging there is now these stupid moisture packets inside the container. I was so insulted by it i wanted to trow out everything, actually i want to go and return it. But there no way to know if that is even allowed

So much for legal weed. Id rather go back to the days when i got it in a litttle plastic baggie. Its still plastic and its still not recyclable but its a lot less plastic and it didnt come with a little moisture packet that i really dont need

Didn't have much of selection but girl that worked there was super knowledgeable about everything and I bought some indica spray.

Service is good but product is always dry, still effective but very dry. I haven't used a grinder in months, I can just make it into a dust between my fingers. We need to have more local pot farmers in alberta and sadly the legislation of such things are not there yet. Might just grow my own.

Over all good experience.

Changing your operational hours, to be open until 8 was a bad idea in my opinion.

At least 10pm on Friday and Saturday

After waiting for several minutes & speaking with the concierge. Then looking at stock, we were told they had nothing but will get some in a few days. I thought it was unprofessional not to be upfront about it. I'll keep going to Fire & Flower.

Yup, The reviews are true, Get it together guy's. We're selling a plant in a plastic container at the end of the day.this should not be hard. No NOVA I DO NOT WANT TO EMAIL YOU AND TALK ABOUT IT. I already smoked the crumbled up dry 3.1 grams worth of bunk out of my $45 3.5 advertised garbage. Hey dealer.if you're reading this can we meet Asap? Need some REAL POT!

The 5 star rating is 100% Based on the service I have received since Cannabis has become legal. The staff are knowledgeable about the products and give you 100% honest opinion about the products, it has never once been about sales when I have dealt with them! Like today for instance, asked the lovely lady (I cant remember her name which is a shame because she was great and helpful) what she knew about the DNA brand they stocked and man was she right about it! Will be going back for a long time to come if service and staff stay like this!

Intresting if you are not familiar with weed go inside ask questions and open your mind. You may find that the staff here know what they are trying to teach you.learn live longer. Be smart weed comes in many forms. Perhaps there are some things in this shop that can make your life more enjoyable.don't be shy as you only live once.

They almost never have any decent weed in stock. High prices. Theres a few shops in Etown that are much better. Nova just sucks.

Very friendly staff, great environment, and that petite blonde cashier is especially cute.
