Bunch of cold, soulless employees. Useless. Avoid there’s plenty of places that would do anything to have your business instead of turning you away everytime you walk in

Just visited Value Bud at Strathcona, Jen was awesome and gave great recommendations. Best shop in town!

First off, everything about my original review stands, aside from the selection comment. Despite asking over and over, they won’t stock certain products that they have sold in the past. I’ve been told by the staff at this location (and the others I’m now driving all over the city to in order to actually get what I’m after at), that they have moved to a central ordering system and that despite the managers at each location making requests based on their customers requests, that home office makes the final decision. Not a good look. Why not give the customers what they want? They seem to stock what I’m after at other locations, as I’ve now gone to 4 others, but I’m getting kinda sick of driving all over the city! I’ve sent emails too and still, nothing.

I wasn’t sure about Value Buds when they took over this location from another cannabis shop as their hideous branding is a major turn off. BUT, as we all know, it’s what’s on the inside that matters, and these guys are absolutely fantastic! Their customer service is exceptional, Danni usually helps us and we adore her! I recently experienced a faulted product and their manager Taylor was so great to deal with and he very quickly made things right for me. Plus, their pricing is incredibly competitive and their selection is great!

Austin was extreemely helpful today! He was so patient and kind. Austin is very knowledgeable and likes sharing with others and offering different options. He made me feel welcomed and safe to be curious and explore. He was 11/10 customer service and I will definetly be coming back!

The staff here are lovely people! They're super knowledgeable and friendly. I had stopped using Cannabis a while back but wanted to try smoking while i study and they had some really helpful recommendations for me. The girl with light brown hair and glasses, i think her name is Abbi, was super helpful and has a lovely personality. I would definitely recommend coming here

Great store and friendly staff. I noticed they recently made some upgrades to their boards and that’s been very helpful choosing product. Display cases are always well-stocked and you can select your price point.
I don’t understand the one-star reviews for this store. If you’re giving a one star review for anything, that’s just a sign of your own issues.

Great little store, The boards are all clearly marked as well as outlining your discount. The staff are fantastic, they often provide some great recommendations. Prices are very resonable.
This seems to be a problem everywhere. It would be great if the product lines were a little more consistent.

Honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’d drive the extra 5 min and go literally anywhere else. If your staff doesn’t want to help people, than why are they working there at all?
