I can't believe everyone doesn't check this place before buying almost anything. Quality stuff for cheap. You gotta look often and take your time. I go every Friday night when my kids are at music lessons. Lots of good finds and treasures.
Candle on the left $30 on Amazon. On the right $6 at Value Village.

Update stop by for first time in a year and well things haven't changed much still lots of over price junk and retail prices on the good stuff. Lots of stock but its a bit of struggle to find any hidden gems now a days not like 5 years ago. Check out this broken PS3 controller for 14.99? Can likely buy a good condition one for that price.
All in all this place has gone down hill support local thrift stores.

Prices are on the high end for a thrift store. They claim to be trying to give clothing a second life while they help the environment at the same time.but you can find better thrift stores now days. Also NO changing rooms … that’s a big annoyance now if you don’t fit the clothes.

Their prices are getting higher now to think that they never spent any cent to accumulate their products. They should just give it away anyway they are meant to be non profit

Anyway, it's a cost-effective thrift shop.
You can buy clothes for $7 or a hat for $3, which is pretty cheap. I was impressed by how kindly the staff taught me.

No change rooms and when I asked a clerk I was told I could return items that didn’t fit. When I came back I found it was for store credit only. They used to have change rooms and they need to bring them back.

Garbage service and management. Went to return something that was still in the package with a receipt and they reused to exchange it because "all red tags are final". Nowhere in the store, on the receipt or on the clothing rack does it say this. I don't understand how they can enforce such a policy if there's no labels. Prices of clothing items have gone up so much that you're better off buying new which is bizarre considering everything they get is free. Go to a local charity store instead and stop fattening the wallets of these disgusting conglomerates.

Ok. Always great to be looking "around Halloween time" if you're into costumes
Prices often higher than expected but there an occasional bargain.
No change rooms which is my #1 peeve.
Hard to get a human to check out your order but they do have them.

I come here every now and then, honestly its got some good stuff and I've found some of my favourite items to wear here. I also found a luxury item for only $24.00 (marked down to $19.99 thanks to a coupon) which was really nice. I'd say everything is pretty well priced, the store itself is well lit and clean, and the clothing is usually in pretty good shape from what I've seen. Also the jewelry/accessory section is nicely organized so it makes looking through it far easier. Overall any experience I've had here has been good, however I haven't really looked outside of the clothing/shoes so I'm not sure what the household items sections are like

What was once a semi organized clean store, is slowly turning into an overstuffed repository of junk. Used to enjoy just looking around for treasures, but now am wary of even touching anything.

Children's books were great and a decent price.
Women's clothing was so overpriced and then there is no way to try it on, which is why I didn't get any clothes. I'm not buying a $20 dress that I can't try on!
Bathrooms were clean. Staff were friendly and polite.

Biggest Value Village I have ever been too. Great finds as always. Some clothing was overpriced for the brand, only reason for not giving 5 stars

Over priced used goods. These are items which are donated to them and on many items they check Ebay pricing. Donated Jackets can be found to payover 80$

As a 1980-90s toy collector, I have to use eBay to get something that I want. But everything is expensive as hell on eBay. When I came here, I was in shock. Sure it was not in a neat format but it’s a thrift store and I think that makes it all the better. Anyway, they had everything I could want! And for cheap! Mission, on the other hand, is not that good. They over price things way to much for a thrift store! It’s like a scam!
If you collect pretty much anything, Value Village is the best to get good deals on good stuff!
Whenever I go to Lethbridge, i always stop at Value Village!

I find it hard to find quality clothes/accessories at this store, and prices are rather high. Additionally, quite a few items are damaged or badly priced (e.g, on my last trip, there was a decor item with an original price tag that was priced 20% higher by the thrift store than the original tag).

They, in a well managed way, provide a service in reusable clothing and household items. The staff are usually friendly and helpful and I can often find quality things at a discount from new. However I still get disgusted by their pretending to support charities especially by subtly not actually removing signage that refers to the Kidney Foundation which severed its relationship years ago. They are not a charity and I take my donations elsewhere.

I was nicely surprised by the lower price (compared to Value Village in Calgary) of the items. VV in Calgary pricing it became so silly. For the prices they are asking you might as well by a new item. Let's remember that the entire price of VV is their pure profit minus operation costs.
So going back to the VV in Leftbridge I liked their pricing. I found the store a bit disorganized. The racks carrying different sizes were organized without logic. Sizes eg xl next to s.
