The staff is amazing here! Loved how organized everything was, definitely made it easier to find what i was looking for. It opens at 9am which is awesome, I've noticed that most places are starting to open at 10am. Kinda funny because most liqour stores open around 9-930 and shortly after all other stores started opening around 10am
Great selection of merchandise to choose from.i like going to Value Village because the options are endless.the staff there are friendly and helpful.i don't ever hesitate to ask if i have any questions.
If value village didn't over price everything it would be a 5 star rating but I saw a purse that was priced at $75-Ridiculous! It's supposed to be at discount prices. Or so I thought. I still love value village but cmon people EASE UP ON UR PRICES, THEYRE DONATED AND USED!
The store didn't have very much stock and the displays were not very nice, and while I was in the clothing section someone was changing their clothing on the floor in front of me.
The staff here are always friendly and welcoming and often get as excited for your finds as you do. Treasure trove of pre-loves items looking for new homes. 10/10
Staff were grouchy but it was the end of the night and I was still shopping when the store was closing. Pretty good assortment of quality merchandise tho!
Nice second hand store. From clothing to small furniture to house hold items to nic nacks to to toys to just about anything you can put in your home. Th store is well lit and clean. It is well organized. There is lots of room in the store to move around which is good due the COVID and social distancing rules. Prices are good s everything is second hand. The staff is friendly and courteous. Washroom facilities are available. The store exists because of people’s donations of used household items.
I could spend hours looking for stuff I didn't know I needed, whist looking for specific things, I was quite impressed with the recent changes to the layout of the store, but was once again very disappointed with a few things. A. Whoever keeps putting items (in the bags on the walls) like fragile glass/shells/crystal knickknacks, with stuff like heavy rocks, marbles, and paperweights etc. Then slaps a $8 sticker on it. B. Constantly seeing items with the price tag of the store it was originally sold at, for a fair price, then seeing the VV price tìag with a price way higher than original retail price when it was new! C. I don't wanna buy 8 calculators just for the one notepad/calculator/pen combo, spread those things out a bit more amongst the other similar product bags (just an example). And lastly if the owner, or corporate, or whoever knows who has an influence on the prices of stuff, tell em to look at what your customers are saying in these reviews -lower your prices! Ps. The Staff are always fantastic! And almost always find hidden treasures! Still love this place lol
Kathleen was very rude to me and when I asked her for the washroom to be opened she just paged a staff member instead of just doing it herself she also answered me very rudely when I went to talk to her.i was not too happy about it and the washroom was for my wife and daughter so i had to go back there so they would know who to open it for
They have a lively selection of plus sized clothing, a great book selection, and they always have something special for items I didn't know, or had forgotten I had wanted! Staff here is always friendly!
Love this value village the best. It always has a great selection of shoes and clothes. I can't find the section for toddler clothes like ever though at any value village. Wish they marked it better than just girls or boys.
I shop here often and have done so for many years. I think however that for items that are donated, sometimes more than once, the prices a getting ridiculously high!
You never know what treasures you will find here.there are deals to be had but prices are creeping up.they also got rid of their dressing rooms for trying items
Over priced when someone else donated that stuff. When its supposed to be a thrift store but you're basically buying things at a new price that were donated. And the money doesnt stay in Canada goes to the states. Staff were not willing to help and rude. Not shopping here garage store! I would give no stars if I could BS!
If you like finding dirty needles in the bathroom then this is the place for you! Alberta health should shut this location down before someone gets hurt
Had to wait in line for about 10 mins while the cashier waited for the manager to come up (which they never did actually show up). I finally out my stuff down and walked out, they should be embarrassed to call themselves managers
Had to listen to a customer complain about her service and apparently being called names. I felt judged by the staff because I had my baby stroller with me. And I feel as though I could have gotten thos3 item at a lower price brand new from the achual outlet. Who ever started this business that sells USED clothes for top dollar your a geniusyour profut margin is 100 percent
All the items are donated so why are the prices so high? There are many items that are broken and chipped. They should be garbaged. Some are the same items have different prices.
Great experience finding some gems here. If you are in need of clothes this is a good spot compared to the other locations. My kids also live this place for the toys.
I opened the box of something when I got home.it was cracked and pieces missing. They sell broken items and then said they don't take back items due to covid. I will NEVER shop there again
Love the treasures you can find when thrifting. I find Value Village prices alot of things outrageously, like their Dresses who wants to pay $20 for a second hand dress? Maybe $5 lets be real you get it for free. Jeans $20 plus like seriously people shop here cuz they can't afford brand new and those prices are brand new prices be realistic. And sales tax isn't supposed to be added to second hand items just fyi
The employees here are very friendly. The store and change rooms are clean and organized. Lots of selections and everything seems to be in good condition.
The Staff are very nice.but some of the stuff that is for sale is way over priced.yet most of it is donated. You will find some good deals.but you def have to look.
Found some fun goodies. Little disorganized in some areas but I think that's unsupervised children. Will be back next time on our hunt for treasures. Better prices than the value village on whyte ave.
Among many other VV stores sprinkled across Edmonton, my tactic is to hit em all, and spree on stuff I that I usually end up re donating. Possibly not the greatest tactic.what's yours?
Value village never fails to provide the best shopping experience in thrift stores. I usually find what I am looking for at a price I can afford. There is always a great selection in the seasonal holiday decor, women's wear and kitchen stuff (the items I usually search for). Bring a donation before you shop and get a discount on your purchase.
Value village is the place to shop the shop I s huge, I like the workers they friendly, and they will help. The stuff there is reasonable prices. It's a great place to shop. Love your store. I'll give them a 100% percent.
I found a dead bed bug on a towel and told the manager She flicked it on the floor and explained to me that if it was alive they would have to shut the whole place down and prep to have extermination in She told me how big of a deal it is and i thought to my self if there is one dead bed bug then there are others and why not take this seriously? !? ! I felt the need to post this experience so others know There is already a bad enough epidemic of bed bugs in this city I wont be returning to this location
A staff member was very rude to my 3 year old daughter and was just all around unpleasant I was not impressed at all by her behavior. Complained but I doubt anything was done about it either.
Good variety some things are a little unorganized but that could be from customers shuffled items. Also some things are over priced so be carefull. I can get a brand new vause for 14$ why get a used one for that price no matter the brand if they look still look the same. They would move houseware items faster if they priced them better.
