Vantage Inns & Suites, Fort McMurray

I stayed 2 different nights at the Vantage Inn & Suites in Fort McMurray, and I had a wonderful stay each time!

The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, especially Annalyn, at the breakfast room as she went above and beyond to help me out!

The rooms were really nice and clean. The beds were also super comfortable. I would highly recommend staying there!

Customer service was friendly and welcoming. My room was clean and welcoming. Expected for the lower price it wouldn't be as nice but it was perfect for the one night stay. I would say the pillows were a little hard. But overall a great stay. Includes a morning breakfast.

The stuff very nice I love the breakfast area. The issue it’s the room kinda old but really clean and smell good.

The rooms are good, but the place is really clean and the staff are super friendly. They also have free laundry, a small gym (for the energetic), and a better than average continental breakfast.did I mention how wonderful the staff are? The location is McMurray South on Highway 63 (8 minutes from the airport). They have lots of parking, and all stalls have plug-ins for colder temperatures.

The front desk Lady Maria really came through for a shift worker. I needed the room to sleep during the day after a night shift and couldnt wait until 3pm. Other hotels wanted me to book two nights in order to get a room in the morning. Only two hotels in your vicinity and yours were the only ones that catered to the shift worker working in the oil patch. I choose yours though it was slightly more costly cause Maria was very understanding, clear and concise in her communication, did not leave any room for error. I really appreciate her flexibilty without breaking the hotel rules. I will always come to your hotel when in town.

Great hotel in a safe area. Service was excellent, check in took under 3 minutes. I would recommend this place to everyone.

We booked this hotel as all other hotels in YMM were sold out. But I am so happy I found them. The staff are INCREDIBLY hospitable and sweet. Every amenity that I have ever needed, they provide. The hotel is older, and the furniture in the rooms is dated, but it doesn't matter to me. Everything is spotless and I genuinely feel like they are happy to have me stay there. Very very clean! This is my go to hotel now in YMM regardless of star ratings, I'd choose this hotel!

Oddly enough I came back after six hours for an unexpected 3 day stay.

The people are wonderful.

The continental breakfast was amazing and included bacon and hashbrowns (all bets were off after this. They could have been raving psychopaths and I wouldn't have cared. There's bacon from 5 am to 9am.

Bacon.

Not fake bacon. Not weiners, ungloriously BARELY shaped like bacon.but actual bacon.

And THEN?

IT HAPPENED.

SOMECRUEL SPIRIT APPEARED AS IF FROM NOWHERE, A WRAITH WITH A CART AND SHE DEMANDED OF ME, MASKED AND ALL!

"WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR ROOM CLEANED? "

Recoiling in horror I immediately stepped back and observed the situation.

Pizza boxes. Used napkins. Half opened canisters of lotion that we all well know.people only use for one thing.

I could see that she framed the doorway, stoutly armed with an Electrolux.

Anyway, I leapt from a third floor window ans quite obviously have survived to tell this tale.

I jest.

These are some of the kindest and most patient hospitalliers that I've met in my travels from coast to coast.

Free bacon. Free laundry. Free smiles. Free goodwill.

And most importantly, they're free.

This is a fantastic hotel for the price.

This hotel made me feel like family being away from home for work was difficult but having these beautiful smiley faces every morning saying good morning and the breakfasts small talk the rooms are modern and comfortable I give them 5 stars plus and would recommend staying here beautiful people beautiful place.
