Brought my cat in. My cat is the biggest human luvr there is and has never responded negitivley to anyone. I brang my cat to this vet 6yrs ago and that vet came in and he ran to her right away and gave him pets/made him feel comfortable it was great. This vet came in and he hid instantly and she did nothing to make him feel comfortable. In fact almost look uncomfortable touching him. He was so stressed out his ears were red and so scared, i felt horrible for bringing him in. They wanted to run all these tests and i was not comfortable with this vet and knew i wanted him to be handled by someone else. I tried to be polite in saying i want to pay for this vist just so i could leave. Then they assumed it was a financial situation talking about cost which was insulting and added to why i didnt want to continue with this vet. At the end they made me sign a wavier like my cat was going to die the next day to add to the stress which i found out was so far off and clearly my cat was no where near death or going to be anytime soon. I had a home care vet come in which was a completley different experiance/ suprisingly cheaper as i was ready to pay alot more for their experiance. Wish i should of done that in the first place. Something to keep in mind for anyone going to this vet with a cat

I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. After coming here for a second opinion, us and our cat were treated with care and compassion from all the staff but most of all Dr. Alexander. The impression had stuck with us so positively that although the prognosis was not good for our boy, we decided to have his end of life treatment at this clinic. It was the most positive experience I've had at a place. They made sure we were comfortable, that our boy was comfortable. They walked us through the whole process and gave us some different options. Most importantly they treated us with so much compassion and empathy. The team did not rush us or make haste on our last moments. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.

Good care for our two little mulchis. Rebecca is our vet. But we have used other vets at VCA too.
