I called in to ask if they had Movoflex chews for my dog's joint health and arthritis (over the counter chews) and the staff member that answered was short with me and following the hold I was on, responded immediately with no they do not. I mentioned I looked online to see if VCA sold them and that's why I had chosen to call because they appeared to have them available for ordering and my vet was closed for the next few days for holidays. She then responded rudely saying "well we don't. " There was no attempt to offer help in getting them for my dog. Her response after was that I would need a prescription if I wanted them and then no attempt was made to schedule an appointment. I was so put off that I decided to look elsewhere for help with this. I'm really disappointed with the level of professionalism in answering the phone for customers and patients.

We have been coming here for over 20 years now (wow I can’t believe it’s been that long!) and I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. We saw Dr Marty with our family dogs growing up, and I bring my dogs to him or Dr Jesse now. They are incredibly patient and understanding with my reactive boy, and give him the space and encouragement he needs for a positive visit. If anyone else has a reactive dog they know the headaches it can bring, but I trust that the team here always supports us with whatever we need. All I need to do is call ahead, and they make sure the waiting area is clear and then let me bring my dog directly to the room to avoid him getting overstimulated.

The vets here will also give you different options based on the situation, and your budget - they won’t upsell you on unnecessary tests. I fully trust that if Dr Jesse says we should consider bloodwork, an ultrasound, etc.that he believes it’s necessary. I also very much appreciate that if they’re unsure about something they are honest about it, and will do everything they can to get the information from specialists, or refer you to one.

My 2 dogs are patients of Mckenzie VCA and I have nothing but good things to say about this clinic. The staff are friendly, and accommodating. The dog's vet has stabilized them with treatments despite their chronic, progressive conditions. We are very thankful to have such a wonderful clinic so close to home.

Can't say enough good things about this vet. Loved the vet who took such good care of my golden retriever, Buddy. Wonderful checkup for him and I have great confidence in the doc. They said to call if any problems occur - that's a switch!

My dog Brodie has been a patient of Dr Marty Lovo for 14+ years. Always honest, caring and knowledgeable. Marty is a true professional and always takes the time to explain the exam process and what he is administering for vaccines. He asks all the questions and gives honest feedback. We value and appreciate McKenzie Towne VCA.

We have used this vet clinic for about 12 years now, and Marty has been our vet since days one.
We have had exceptional care provided by Marty and the staff at clinic.
We recently suffered the loss of our beloved cat, and Marty performed the euthanasia and we could not have had a better person present for this. His well timed humor, professionalism and his absolute love for our cat was very present. Thank you so much Marty.

The clinic staff are always great at this location as well, very accommodating and friendly.

I can't say enough good things about this vet. The RVTs and front desk staff are so caring with the animals as well as being friendly and professional with people.

We've brought our dog Boris here several times and he has had some complicated issues to diagnose but the vets have always done a great job of making sure we understand what's going on with him and what our options and paths to treatment are.

10/10 veterinary practice.

Dr Tess McGarvey and the nurses made our experience as great as it could have been. I was very anxious and scared to bring my cat in for dental surgery but she was extremely thorough, communicative and honest about his pre-bloodwork and kept me as up to date as possible throughout the day of his surgery. When I brought him home he didn’t seem to be in any pain and the whole situation was a big relief. I hope he never has to have surgery again but if he does I’ll for sure see her again!

Great team! Dr. Jesse, nurse Emily and the rest of the team are always so amazing with their care. Quite thankful.

Amazing staff! Dr Pawlak and the amazing nurses have been super amazing with my dog. They go above and beyond!

First time being in a vet since our one cat passed from cancer. Front staff was very stand offish and not nice at all, then Vet came in not nice at all, I explained that this was the first time that I have been in a vet since our cat passed, they did not care at all. Instead they offered me a payment plan like some sales person to clean our cats teeth. I have never met someone so cold especially when they deal with your fur babies, I will never be back or recommend going to this place.

Dr Jaime Cormack is the worst vet we've ever seen in all our years of having pets, she was ignorant and arrogant, when she found out we were going to just go see our regular vet the following day and weren't willing to spend $1000 dollars on unnecessary treatments, she threatened us with calling the humane society and report us for animal abuse. Even though we followed up with our vet the next day, today animal services showed up at our house. They spoke with our vet and closed the case. We will never recommend that place to anyone ever and encourage you to stay away. DR Cormack should not be in this field, she even told us at the beginning of our visit that she had never seen a puppy this young before, my wife and I just shook our heads when we left this visit.

Wonderful staff with lots of knowledge and care. Dr. Marty is amazing! Also, don't forget the front end staff, who run the day to day operations. Amazing team all around

I went to this vet because I couldn’t get into mine, my 15 year old dog had a tooth infection and I was happy with the service at the time. About 2 weeks later I received a call to bring my dog back in for a checkup and told them he was doing great and there was no reason to pay for a check up visit. A day later I received a phone call from the vet threatening to call animal services because they just knew my dog was in horrible pain (which he definitely was not, he was eating really well and acting totally normal) if I didn’t bring him in for a checkup. I took him to my vet and he was fine. From reading other reviews from here this is not the first time customers have been threatened and treated with disrespect. I would definitely not recommend anyone bring your pet here.

I genuinely don’t think I can put in to words how grateful I am for this clinic and now Dr. Jesse in particular. He went above and beyond for what started out as a simple tooth extraction for one of our cats. You can tell he truly truly is passionate about his work and cares about his little fur patients (and their families). I will be forever indebted to Dr. Jesse and his utmost care and kindness. Without a doubt this is the clinic you want to trust with your fur babies. I will never go elsewhere

Okay WOW. If I could give more starts I would because I can’t even find the words to express how amazing this clinic is. Dr. Justine specifically left me in awe. She went completely above and beyond with one of my kitties that was sick. You can tell that everyone here genuinely cares about the well being of your fur baby. I moved downtown and still will make the drive south because I trust the knowledge and care of the veterinarians here. So so so grateful

These people are amazing. They will go the extra mile to make sure that both you and you pet are taken care of. They have taken well care of my very large puppy. I came here once late before of an energy and my own vet was closed. They sold me as a customer.

This clinic is wonderful, all the vets are so caring and knowledgeable, the reception staff are always so kind and accommodating. It really takes the stress out of a trip to the vet when you know your pets will be in such good hands. The online portal is super handy, all kinds of convenient. Both my pups will be going to this office for years to come!
