They took great care of our dog, called later to follow up just to make sure we were not having issues giving him his meds. Was a nice touch.

They have appointments and are open 7 days a week. Also the vets and front desk staff seem good.

Unfortunately the "technicians" are poor and don't have experience. Brought our cat here for a nail trim - they cut to the blood, and didn't even check so we turned around and brought her back. They put some water on the paw and just said try home remedies. Didn't even offer a refund (not that we care, it's a matter of principle).

I would not trust your pet to visit this clinic for any procedures where you can't be in the room.

Very pleased with the care we have received at this clinic! I called with an urgent matter on a Sunday and was booked for an appointment within 45 minutes of my call! Dr. MacKenzie was professional, kind and informative. Thank you to everyone for taking such good care of my pup and getting us in so quickly.

I took both cats and my large dog in for their annual. Fastest appointment I’ve had. All my animals seem to really love this vet and behaved so well that it went quickly. Dr Mackenzie. Almost don’t want to say his name and have to share him.my daughter goes to this vet too

I mean it's fine. I really like the male vet. He's really good.
But I found it odd when it was time to Pay. No one looked at me despite being at the counter with a debit card in hand. They jumped on phone "call backs" before assisting customers in person at the desk? Odd.so after their 6 min phone calls I was about to leave with my free appointment then the younger girl with the odd tasks helped but seemed confused on why she was helping. (tasked to not help the desk by the other woman who couldn't look at us)
Very odd. They also asked us why our animal needed to be there.um.well I'll tell yea again I guess. They seemed odd.

Again the male vet is VERY GOOD. The ladies at the desk need customer service courses.

We would highly recommend VCA Shawnessy. They provided wonderful care to our 14 1/2 yr old dog during his recent surgery and aftercare.

A very clean place and the admin and vets are really nice. Prices are also quite reasonable. We took our puppy there and Dr. Jayson was very informative and very helpful. Highly recommended animal hospital. We went during the weekend and the wait ended up being quite long due to regencies, so they rescheduled us for the next day so we didn't have to keep waiting.

We recently brought in our dog and received excellent customer service.

I took my kitten, Cooper in with emergency symptoms and although they aren’t a walk in clinic, they made room for me, made sure my cat and I were comfortable, checked on me until my mom got there, brought Cooper treats, a blanket, a bed, and made sure he was very comfortable in his last few hours. I can’t stress how much I appreciate having Cooper being treated by people who genuinely cared for him and I. Everyone there played a part, thank you all.

Dr. MacKenzie is the best! Everyone who works here is wonderful, and you can tell they truly care about their patients.

TERRIBLE CLINIC! We have been using this clinic for 13 years but they don't care about older animals. This vet clinic has no compassion and only cares about making money off you. We were forced to bring our older dog who doesn't travel well anymore in for an appointment because they refused to continue renewing her eye medication. When we arrived our dog was to afraid to get out of the van. We asked the vet to come outside for her check up, which again they refused. Our dog was in the back of our van with the door wide open literally 10ft from the clinic door and they refused to treat her. The vets excuse was that they needed to see her inside where all the air filters were. Instead of outside in the fresh air. They still refused to renew her eye medication even after we put her through all the pain of getting her there. So they're perfectly fine with her going blind instead of putting in any extra effort for her at the end of her life. After all of that our dog was traumatized and she wouldn't get out of the van at home either. It took over 30mins of extra love and treats before she'd even stand up so we could get her out.

Consistently pleased with the doctors at this VCA. I live just around the corner with a houseful of animals and when one of them has an ailment of any kind, they’re there to help.

Great hours, friendly staff, amazing doctors. And CARE CLUB.

The last visit with Dr. Goulding, I had thought my Button had a tumour on her chin. Turned out to be acne, but Dr. Goulding was supportive and detailed.

VCA Shawnessy South has the most friendly and caring staff. Ocean, the meow foundation cat is adorable and yp for adoption!

We found out this clinic back in 2019 as we were at semi emergency and this is the only clinic opened till late.

Dr Tracy Stevens was Tinkerbell's doctor, she's very patient and knowledge which really listened to our concerns, Tinkberbell was recovered.we have 3 cats and since then we always go to VCA.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful as well! Like they move one more step for me for the insurance kick in (wavie waiting period for a new policy) they sent everything to the insurance which I don't have to contact the insurance again.

They are friendly accommodating and always the people i want to care for my 105lb baby bernese doggum.

The staff here are awesome. I recent transfer my very large puppy here and they made an anxious dog feel welcome. Just recently had my dog neutered here and they provided the utmost care and made sure that I was well inform of pre and post surgery. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This place has never turned us in the wrong direction. Some vets pull on your heart strings so you spend spend. Not here there always looking out for you and your pet. We have been coming here for 14 years +. Can't not say enough about them

Good experiences previously but last issue our cat had we were not taken seriously. Had to take him to a different vet to get him properly diagnosed.
