Velour Clothing Exchange

The owner of this store should consider working on her communication skills. I brought in some clothes and it turns out they were not currently buying. I said no problem and asked what other stores might take them at which point she changed her mind and said she could sign me up, despite appearing annoyed and speaking condescendingly to me. I would have rather just gone somewhere else than feel like an inconvenience. As I begin signing the form she tells me that because I have 2 boxes instead of their 1 box limit, I have to agree to have the rest of my items donated, which is understandable if they do not have the space to store the rest. I said I would take one of my boxes back as I do not wish to donate my other items, at which point she said "it's kind of an all or nothing thing. "

I'm not sure why it would be "All or nothing". It's quite inconsiderate and might I add suspicious to pressure customers into donating their items. I would have been fine with taking back my clothing and returning at a later date but after that experience I won't be back.

Went to pick up items I brought in. She couldn’t find then so she questioned if I actually brought items in.

This lady is so snotty, she thinks she selling Louis vutton or something, treated me and my children like we are beneath her and basically kicked me and my kids out of the store, took her a week to go through my stuff and then said she want taking any of it! I have lululemon stuff and gorgeous dress like I will never ever shop here.

A beautiful, curated collection of vintage clothing, shoes and bags. Great vendors products, change rooms and an amazing art mural and visual displays.

One of the best places to shop vintage in Calgary. I've been a customer for over two years now and I love it! The atmosphere is great and the staff is always friendly. It's great that they carry extended sizes too. It makes shopping so much more enjoyable.

One of my favourite places to discover those unique pieces that add so much to my day to day wardrobe. Love the thoughtfulness that goes into which brands are accepted, and their open to all environment. Great experience everytime, both as a consigned and a customer. Check it out!

Velour is one of my favorite local places to shop. Myra is a sweetheart. She is easy to talk to, has great stories to share, excellent taste in style and unique items to choose from. Velour is fair and honest with pricing and the exchange program rules. I have watched Velour morph into what it is today, tagging along from when they started at Market Collective. Whenever I have friends come to town, this is always a shop I love to show off.

Every interaction I’ve had with the Velour team has been outstanding. They’re professional, helpful, knowledgeable and quick to respond to questions about items in their stories! I highly recommend checking out this store; it’s a true gem!

My whole closet is basically just an off-site from velour ahaha.they're my favorite ladies, super warm and kind. Always helping me with dream peices for my closet! I've never had a negative experience, from greetings to goodbyes, it's like they always know how to make someone's day better.
