I reached out to this Law Firm, hoping to get a family lawyer that could help me with my case against my toxic ex. Joe Sumiya reached out to me, saying he thought he would be able to help. He showed up to court for me once. Right before court, he told me he would withdraw if I don’t agree to my ex’s terms. I have never been so distraught in my life. I remember he told me “i know how this goes”… well later, I got exactly what I wanted without his help from a different lawyer. So no, clearly you don’t know how it goes. It seems to me that he wanted a quick win and didn’t listen to the abundance of information that I gave him about my case. I let him go late April after one court appearance…3 months later I got a very rude email saying i have an outstanding balance that needed to be paid “immediately”. I emailed back asking for a summary, because I let him go in april and the email said i owe him till the end of may. I got no response.months later I got another letter telling me i still had the outstanding balance. I sent another email saying I want the summary, and i got no response. I then got a call yesterday that I missed.on the message it said to call back to discuss my outstanding balance. I called today, and i learned that I now have interest on the outstanding balance. I find it quite stupid that my own lawyer didnt give me the remaining balance, or a summary, and now i have interest because no one was getting back to me about this summary that I should be entitled to. Well I paid the balance at the office today…i still don’t have a summary.
It makes me sick that I had to go the office to pay more money to Joe Sumiya, who did not represent me in court. He is a coward, and should not be a lawyer, with the way he was trying to manipulate me into agreeing with the opposing sides lawyer. But since I have to pay him more money, he can have this terrible review! I got what I wanted without Joe’s help.

Tammy Olson continues to be a rock during the storm of a lengthy separation. She is extremely knowledgeable in regards to Family Law. If anything comes up that is out of her scope of knowledge, she has a network of experts to confer with and is not afraid to do so to ensure full understanding for all parties involved (ie obscure and unusual property issues). She is both supportive and frank, and suggests reasonable and fair solutions. Ms. Olson has a knack for validating my concerns while ensuring my time and money is well spent by keeping focus on the issues that are truly important. I highly recommend retaining Tammy Olson if you are looking a Family Lawyer.

If I could I would give 0 stars they took 9 thousand dollars and dropped the case right before court.you couldn't even get a hold of them even if you did they charge 80 dollars not to mention they don't even care about the case to the point where they tell you they have filed your paper work for court but come to find out it's the other party who filed would not trust nor recommend.they took advantage of a single mom with 2 kids who barely gets by and is out 9 thousand dollars for absolutely nothing.

Lisa chieduch is the lawyer I personally talked to, and my wife retained her for "professional" advise. She was emotional and uneducated on her approach to a simple task. She was dismissive and did not respond to emails or phone calls. I would strongly recommend avoiding this firm. I discussed the topic with the office manager (Lisa) and it took weeks to respond to emails and phone calls. The company and the managing front end are shifty, and looking to capitalize on preying on clients. I have had many interactions with all types of lawyers, this is by far the worst company I have ever dealth with. Pick another firm.

I would never had hired this firm if I would have known the owner of the firm was a family friend on my ex's side. Plus, if you were not going to represent me, and as you stated, you have quite a few clients and a few different lawyers, then why did you make a point of coming into that conference room, to meet me personally? Do you do that with all clients?

Did probate and now won't return calls too help with sale of property which they they said they would for cost.took too long and the probate was costing more for mistakes done in their part.sadly tried to keep itproffessional but as an inheritor trying to but the estate.no response is bad business practice.why wouldn't you call back?
