All three of the PS5 controllers I brought in were repaired well and for reasonable prices. I'd easily recommend VGR to anyone who needed gaming hardware repaired.

Very professional did great work. Very honest about what they fixed and what was wrong with my Xbox. Answered all my questions. 10/10 will use them again.

Brought my Xbox Series X here because it wouldn't turn on. Took just under 2 weeks (as promised) for the repairs. This place seems very busy but for good reason - they are very good at what they do. They cleaned the inside of my Xbox as a complimentary service and it almost looks brand new! Both employees I met were very knowledgeable and you could tell this is their passion. Great work and thanks for saving my console!

Fantastic service - great option if you have kids who are a little “rough” on video game consoles. Also they don’t overcharge - just fix what they need to.

I brought my sons switch here when it broke days before his birthday. The staff i dealt with I believe their name was Tracy was so friendly and helpful. There process is clearly outlined and explained. Proper documentation was provided which was much appreciated. I paid an extra fee to have a rush repair and it was worth every penny. I will come here again and recommend this place to anyone looking.

Took my spruce goose sounding ps4 with 3 controllers and said they'd do their best.well, it's a solid week before i thought I'd get it back but I'm picking up tomorrow

Had two dualsense controllers fixed. One had drift on the left analog and the other had torn silicon pad for the right buttons, the square button was noticeably less tactile than the others. Now they work perfectly and the work was completed prior to the estimated date. Will definitely be going back for future repairs.

Brought in a White Slim PS2 which had problems reading game discs. Half the time it would read half the game discs. And the other times none. Also made a weird clicking noise when trying to read the game discs. They fixed my PS2 good as new. They billed exactly as advertised. The guy working there told me it was a 3 weeks wait for them to fix it and 3 weeks on the dot it was fixed.
Great Service! Told a friend about them and he's already got three broken consoles lined up for them.

Recently wanted to revisit the digital (tamagotchi) world but a few of my old digivices weren't working. I knew it would be a gamble considering the age of them but I brought them here to see what they could do anyway. Pricing was more than fair for their time. There is some finickiness to get the devices to turn on once batteries are in but they got two of the three working again! Thanks so much.

Had to get the hard drive of my ps4 replaced after it kicked the bucket. Went in and was able to pick up my console the next day not even 24 hours later. Tracy was super kind as helpful. These guys did an amazing job!

Playstation is running like a dream again after handing it over for internal cleaning. Didn't realise how quiet the fan should actually sound! Quick, effective and lovely service. Will definitely be back again.

After using a different service for years, we'll never use anyone but VGR for our arcades.
They came and completed an assessment at which point we were provided a clear summary of repairs needed and parts to be ordered. Nothing was done without our prior approval.
The repair was completed quickly and efficiently and there were no surprises at payment time.
Plus it's a great local business with really nice people!
If your arcade or pinball needs some help, don't hesitate to call them.

We just picked up our old 3DS that we were sure had seen it's last game. Staff here gave us a decent quote, fixed it like new and it looks great and plays awesome. We will be back.

Came here to get a Series X power supply fixed. Great service with a smile and they had me up and running within a week. Night and Day difference compared to other places I've been to in yeg.

When I took in my PS4 back in 2019 they fixed it very well and took not very long for it to be repaired, also they noticed i needed some new thermal paste and a new fan.pricing is very reasonable and very good repairs on your consoles both New and Old.

My son’s PS4 sounded like a jet plane and certain games he couldn’t even play anymore because it would just overheat. When we got it back it was so quiet I couldn’t even tell it was on! I would most certainly recommend this place to anyone having issues with their systems!

I came in with my Xbox that was no longer reading discs and they were able to fix it no problem. They were very friendly and professional, the cost to fix was very reasonable and cheaper than buying a new/used system. I brought in my Xbox 360 which had the red ring of death. They were able to repair it for the price quoted and time frame.

Thought my son's Playstation had gone to video game machine heaven. But he completely fixed it, cleaned it out. Works amazing like brand new. I highly recommend using this company to fix your electronics

Amazing experience! They knew exactly how to resolve the issue once i mentioned it (3DS with A button not working fully). I paid for the $60 rush service, since well i wanted this back quick. They had it completed in 1 1/2 hours. I was very pleased and really enjoying my 3DSxl again. Buttons feel like brand new. They also have 3 month warranty on the buttons, so that is just icing on the cake.

Staff were friendly and were able to repair my 3DS. They said it would take 2-3 weeks due to a large backlog, but they ended up calling me saying it was ready for pickup in about a week. Great service, would recommend!

Yup, it’s a business. I took in a 3DS because the SD game card reader malfunctioned, and within two weeks it's fixed for $70, and everyone is super friendly!

My 1-X had overheating problems and the great staff there got my system up and running again like it was new again. I was also expecting to wait at least a week for it. I was surprised at how efficient they are to have my system back long before the week was done.

I brought my Xbox One in the internal hard drive had died. When I picked it up they also took a look at a Nintendo 64 that was having issues, but are running perfectly now. Thank you very much if I’m having anymore hardware issues I’m be back.

Great service and friendly staff. I took my Xbox Elite Controller in for a drifting analog stick. They replaced it, but I wasn’t getting the responsiveness that I wanted for fine movements (not their fault, they can only do so much with replacement parts). I asked if there was anything that they could do, and they immediately offered to replace it that afternoon with another to see if it would give me the results that I was looking for. The replacement was perfect, and my controller feels new again. I’d definitely recommend them to friends.

Staff was very friendly, they did a great job of getting the part we needed for a Nintendo. I would recommend this place for all your video repairs and games.

I recenty purchased a pair of Need For Speed Underground Arcade consoles. They had some power to some inside components and lights.but did not work!
I gave Video Game Repairs a call and Daniel came out to my shop and identified the problem almost immediately.
He took the towers and repaired and tested them, came back installed and got them running great. All very reasonably priced and with top notch professional friendly service.
If you have a game that's not working.these are the guys to call!

My ps4 pro was overheating. Couldn't run most games, fan going so loud I had to wear headphones. Had it cleaned at video game repairs a week ago and it works like new.

So far, so good after picking it up. Repaired the disc drive of my ps3 slim because it wasn't reading discs. Cost was 120$ to replace it. Repairs took around 4 or 5 business days. Very friendly staff.

Tracy was amazing. We chatted back and forth on email and she gave us real expectations of what types of repairs we could be charged for for our Xbox.
Took it in to get fixed.was quoted 1-2 weeks for repairs which was quicker than I had anticipated.she called 24 hrs later that it was ready!

These guys are awesome! My son's Xbox went down so we took it here in hopes of fixing it. They were very up front about what it might cost to repair our console. We paid their extra $30 fee for a quick repair and it was good to go within less than 24 hours! Great service, trustworthy people.

Took my son's playstation 4 in and they diagnosed the problem and fixed it perfectly. A week later my xbox one decided to not read discs, the guys took it, thought they fixed it but something still wasn't right. I contacted them, they asked me to bring it back and they took another look and it works perfectly now.

Easy guys to deal with, great customer service and cant thank them enough for the work and the results. They weren't happy till I was happy and that's not something you see much of these days.

Stopped in to get a game cartridge's battery replaced and was really pleased with the price and how fast the service was (not even ten minutes). They even let me game on the old star wars pinball machine while I waited.

This place is amazing! I am quite sure they are the only business in all of Edmonton who would so much as look at my old Ipod Classic (my prized possession!) - and twice now they have been able to find all needed parts, and have been able to fix all issues, and at a fair price! I whole heartedly recommend Video Games Repair and hope they never close up shop, as I don't know what I'd do without them!

VG Repairs was absolutely awesome to deal with. They replaced the screen on my Wii U Pad (which you can't buy online or if you can find it costs as much as a whole new system). Very friendly guys, very good at what they do and efficient. They had my Game Pad fixed in an hour and was reasonably priced. I would recommend taking any of your gaming devices that may need repairs to these guys. Nintendo, Wii, Wii U, Playstation, upright games, it doesn;t matter, these guys can do it. Quality repairs at reasonable rates with friendly service!

My Nintendo 64 had a couple issues, and not only were they polite, reasonably priced, and fast, but when I wasn't quite happy with the cleaning job, (due to my misunderstanding of what they were offering) they did everything they could to make me feel like I got the value for what I spent.
They went above and beyond to make sure my 64 worked and I went away feeling like a valued customer, and they will absolutely get my business again. I will also be recommending them to anybody who is looking for these services.

Fantastic service! Called and had Dan come out and take a look at a touch screen gaming console in our waiting room. He knew we had an event planned at our office and that we were hoping to have it back by then. They fixed it and had it back in our office within 24 hours! Super impressive! Highly recommend! Video Game Repairs are the best! Excellent, quality guaranteed workmanship. They can do retro console modifications for instance, to play NES or any other retro console on a HDMI flat screen. And they are just as good working on new consoles as well. And, Video Game repairs have a competitive, affordable shop rate for their work. They sell video game equipment also. They give 110 per cent, and always raise the bar with their work.

Took my ps4 for a cleaning and replace the thermal paste due to overheating problems. Repair was done before estimated time. Ps4 running nice and quiet now. No problems. I would highly recommend VGR to anyone with any console problems. Happy customer.

Video game repairs did a very professional job on our arcade games, we were struggling to keep up the repairs and issues with the games. The team at Video Game Repairs are excellent. This is my second time dealing with them, first time was to mod a famicom, and just recently my second visit was to get all the capacitors replaced on my Game Gear. Both times service has been fast, the quality of work is exceptional and prices are reasonable. They also have a selection of consoles and accessories such as cables, 3DS and WII U gamepad batteries among other things, so it's worth checking out if you need something like that.

I try to take care of my stuff as much as possible, but when something does break I will definitely be back! Thanks again guys!

Love this place! After a trigger button broke off my daughter's 2DS, I had taken it apart to see if I could fix it and found the button had broken off of the circuit board so badly that the contacts to reattach it were gone too. They were able to repair it for a fraction of the price of a new one, and I got it back in even less time than I had been quoted. Recommend this place 110%!

Totally awesome. Had a critical issue with a drone circuit board. Fixed it on site in minutes. Tons of cool old school gaming rigs and controllers. This shop is boss.

I got my DSi fixed by them. It was in horrible condition when I gave it to them, water damage, scratches all over it, broken screens, bad power connectors, I asked them to get me new housing and fix everything that is broken and they definitely did a good job. They managed to get all the corrosion off the motherboard, saving my data. Highly impressed for sure. They got original parts (or original looking parts) for the system and it works very well.

Although, it was a bit expensive. I was replacing most of the system besides the buttons and the motherboard.
