An average Villa Madina spot located in the Crossiron Mills food court. The prices are surprisingly high now, matching those of larger sit-down restaurants with higher quality. The service was okay, nothing of note. The food tasted fine as well, nothing special but definitely not bad. The portions were decent as well but still too expensive overall.

Very bad service, the guy charged me just for an empty glass and then refused to provide water. Told me to take a walk… the food was also bad. They showed 12.99 as promo for chicken shawarma and charged me 14$ (regular price) …

This shawarma is really the best in Calgary and even whole Alberta, staff is so nice, and prices are great, every time drive 30 min to have this amazing food, very delicious!

Horrible place I can’t believe people even eat here, id rather eat cardboard. The planners are enough to feed a mouse and they charge an insane amount for it. I don’t recommend anything here

I recently had the misfortune of dining at Villa Medina CrossIron, and I must say it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a musty odor that made my stomach turn. The ambiance was dull and uninspiring, resembling a forgotten corner of a run-down mall rather than a place to enjoy a meal.

The service was abysmal. The waitstaff seemed disinterested and untrained, completely ignoring my requests for assistance. It took an eternity for them to even acknowledge my presence, let alone take my order. When the food finally arrived, it was evident that the kitchen staff were just as careless as the rest of the establishment.

I ordered their supposedly famous chicken parmesan, but what arrived at my table was an overcooked and dry disaster. The chicken was as tough as leather, and the cheese had congealed into an unappetizing mess. The accompanying pasta was undercooked and tasteless, as if it had been sitting in lukewarm water for hours. It was a struggle to even take a few bites without feeling nauseous.

The prices at Villa Medina CrossIron were exorbitant for the quality of food and service provided. It felt like a slap in the face to pay such a hefty bill for an experience that left a sour taste in my mouth, both literally and metaphorically. I would advise anyone considering dining at this establishment to think twice and look elsewhere for a satisfying meal.

Overall, my visit to Villa Medina CrossIron was a regrettable decision. The lackluster ambiance, appalling service, and subpar food make it an establishment to avoid at all costs. Save your time, money, and taste buds by steering clear of this culinary nightmare.

BEWARE of ordering food from Villa Madina using Uber Eats. I waited till the app said food is probably ready. The staff says to cancel my order! Villa Madina has to sort out the issues with Uber Eats as it’s the customer who is suffering.

Great team and amazing hospitality! The chicken & beef shawarma plate is juicy and pairs well with the garlic potatoes.and the garlic paste, words can't describe!

Ordered beef shawarma, kefta shawarma and falafel salad. All were awful. The worst quality of meat, hard texture, bad smell, burnt potato, over toast, not fresh salad, no taste at all. No single item was acceptable. We threw out the food.

We came herefrom British Columbia. We were very thirsty and we grab drinks from here. We were very impressed from their customer service. Their employees Sukh and Parkash are very polite and kind. They helped us to choose an appropriate drinks. They made our day.

Low quality and quantity since it went to different owner. Change to small size basket. Ordered Shawarma and potato was finish so fill-up with garlic sauce only.

Crossiron iron mills location:

I went there with my family on April 5,2023 arround 6: 50 pm. We ordered a Chicken platter. When we taste the food it smelled bad and taste foul. We can taste raw oil in it.
My wife then went to talk to them about the food problem but they said you ate half of it even though we ate little bit and did not listen to us. No refunds, no customer service. No compensation.

At the end we have to throw our food and it was waste of money.
They do not have any respect for customer and their health.

Very bad experience.
Would not recommend that place.

Worst shawarma platter ever.

Excellent food, good portions and the staff was friendly.
I ordered the chicken and beef plate and a few vine leaves to share.
Everything was fantastic.

Very hardworking staff, she had a great smile and offered me to taste potato it tasted delicious. I am a vegetarian and she offered me No9 and it tasted really good. Will be mine regular place to go from now.

The food wasn’t bad, but their menu is misleading. In the corner it says “served with rice, garlic potatoes, salad, hummus & garlic paste”. I thought it applies to all plates listed on the screen, but it doesn’t. Just plate 1-3 have the potatoes, plate 4 doesn’t, but I learned that after I got served the food. Moreover according to the server, it’s because you get falafel instead. But again, it’s not mentioned anywhere on that screen that this is the case. The server was unpleasant when I confronted him about this and told me that I should’ve looked at the picture as there are no potatoes in the picture, which is ridiculous, who orders food by analyzing what they can or cannot see in a picture displayed on a tv screen at food place in a shopping mall.

This location's food QUALITY and QUANTITY both went down the hill, which makes me sad because I love Villa Madina salads. I won't be coming back to this location at the Crossirons again

Been going to this place for lunch for 3+ years always get the chicken shawarma plate or chicken skewers but everything on their menu is delicious! Highly recommend!

We came here for the first time and the team member named sukh helped us with very yumm options great customer service.

This place should be lined up, it’s that good. Had the chicken shish taouk platter and thr falafel platter. Both excellent. Lots of food, fresh salad and good quality meat. Highly recommended. We will be back.
