VINAYAK GROCERY -SRILANKAN & SOUTH INDIAN GROCERY,KERALA STORE

Just came across this place! It's a one-stop shop for all your South Indian grocery needs, utensils, etc. I especially buy Malbari parathas from here and will keep continuing to do so in the future!

Went to see if they have some mangos or guavas. Not really. Very busy area, hard to find parking.

Dealt with 2 separate Punjabi girls for U-haul pickup and return. Got helped kindly both times, thank you.

There are numerous South Indian grocery options available, although occasionally locating parking can be challenging. Some items are highly expensive compare to other stores.

I kind of like this place because you get a lot of food stuffs of our liking.however, I should also admit that, it will drain your pocket as it's $$$.

Best place in Calgary to buy guruvayoor pappadams. Get the periyar brand pappadam that thru keep in the fridge. This place has good quality South Indian snacks (be it banana chips, mixture, murukku) and not the tasteless iyappa brand either.

Worst customer service I rent a uhaul from here and they advised me to take uhaul insurance so I did and i got accident so I go back to store and tell the scenario the owner of the store told me there won’t be any problem everything will be solved since you take the insurance but it’s been more than 4 months they don’t get it resolved and asking for lots of excuses I tried call to uhaul customer service they are not happy to assist me too I request people not to get uhaul from there

Bought a lot of snacks from this store, but all snacks are stale and snacks smell like oil. Pathetic experience. Some of the snacks were even expiring in 2 weeks.
Please check expiration date before you buy, (i checked after coming home, unfortunately)

The store is stuffed with stuff that they can't even fit in the store.

Very bad experience for u- haul renters. Waited too long for u - haul. So, kindly take some time to explore the shop. Worth it!

Usually go for loading long distance balance, relatively quick and friendly service.

Staff is helpful and take their time if you have any questions with any products, and even get tips about how to use products.

New to Calgary & relocated from Toronto. I had a very bad experience at S & T with my first ever visit. But Vinayak is totally the opposite. Very clean. Prices displayed. Helpful staff. Fair prices much lower than S & T. 5 Stars.

Perfect place to get authentic kerala produce and condiments. A store which makes you feel connected to your roots back home.
They do have srikankan condiments too.
Amazing store and awesome experience

Prices are less compare to S&T and service is good. However, limited selection of SL goods. Probably Corona pandemic might have affected the inflow, so unable to keep the variety of stocks.

Good quality and a variety of branded south Indian products. Nice customer service and clean, well-arranged store. They have Ria money transfer services too.

Loved the store. It has everything that a south Indian needs. Went to other Indian stores n was disappointed with the masala selection and the rice and pulses selection as well.
