They would prefer me to purchase online instead of holding a product for purchase. They only care about in city customers who can be there in a few minutes and could care less about anyone one out of town. If you plan to shop here from out of town, do not make a special trip. They will sell their product from under you

Pretty much the worst place I’ve ever dealt with in my life. Tried to rip me off when I was younger after spending 2400$ there. Didn’t shop there for a really long time. Gave them another chance and pretty much just an ongoing regret. Ordered something over a month ago for a trip that I’m leaving for tomorrow and it still hasn’t came. But when I was placing the order, it stated 2-5 day delivery. Changed after I pressed the pay button. Never again will they see any of my money

When I went to go pick up my tv from these dummies they literally gave it away to someone else. Unbelievable I will never shop here again, the also try to push there warranty on you but it’s clearly a money grab. Go to Costco for the same tv at the same price and they offer a better warranty for free. Clearly they are super unorganized if they gave my tv to someone else.

Extremely knowledgeable staff when it comes to the confusing world of Audio Video and HiFi. Can't say enough good things about Visions Electronics Red Deer. Although they have too many people named Ian, both of them know the products they sell and are very well versed in home electronics. Tony is great to deal with as well as Richard. I haven't had a negative experience at Visions. Zero pressure when buying products unlike some big name companies that have staff that dont know anything about what they are selling. If someone here doesn't have an answer.they will find someone who does.

Car stereo install will charge you for an install and if you don't get the work done within a year they won't do the work or refund you. $700 down the drain

We just bought a new 75" TV and were extremely pleased with the knowledge and service both Ian Pettifor and Tony gave us. Our TV had a manufacturer's defect and Ian had it replaced for us within a week. They were so accommodating and made sure we were happy with our purchase. Bought set of soundstage Bluetooth headphones in Red Deer last year. They quit working so I contacted Visions in Red Deer and could not find receipt. Aaron from the store looked up when I bought them and sent me an email right away to pick up a new set at the store in Regina where we live. Talk about 1 st class service. When I bought the JBL LivePro+TWS earbuds, I was informed that they were non-returnable in any case. I had to take the chance and buy them, agreeing to those conditions.

Unfortunately, they don't fit my ears and constantly fall out. I tried all the rubber tips included, but the fit is so poor that the earbuds won't detect being in my ear and turn themselves off. Now I am stuck with $250 earbuds I can't use, return or resell.

Went there today to try and hear of I would like to upgrade from a 7.1 surround to 7.1.2 dolby atmos. Thier testing room didn't have any dolby content to play, tried some dts.x but wasn't hearing any height to the scene that I could tell. I'll come visit again, hopefully more organized in the future.

Very poor experience! I bought a $900 worth of laptop and I was promised it’ll be available for pick up in a week. I waited and waited for 3 weeks and not a single call or email from them to explain why my order has been delayed. I’ve called the store many times and can’t even give me an ETA! What a service! Do not make a promise you guys can’t deliver!

My purchased 2 new cars in Edmonton and the dealer used Visions South Edmonton to install the remote starters on both. The few times I have been to their location they have been outstanding. Unfortunately I live in Red Deer. My starter was giving me an error message and wasn't working. I made an appointment and took it to Visions Red Deer. When I returned I was told they couldn't find anything wrong and all remotes were working. I thought great and left to go to work. The next morning none of the remotes worked. When I got back to Red Deer I called Visions. First I was put on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and called right back spoke to a different gendered person and amazingly I was told that the service department was available and my call was transferred right through. I explained the problem hadn't been resolved at my appointment a few weeks ago and the service agent I spoke to told me the best he could do was offer me an appointment 12 days from now. So they don't fix the problem the first go around and then want me to wait another 12 days for them to try again. That is the very opposite of positive customer service.

Hi, big shout out to Ian and the team at Visions, I bought a new system with an 85" Samsung, Sonos sound system etc, and had it installed late July. The purchase experience was great, I dealt with two Ian's and both were knowledgeable helpful and Fun to work with.
Problem started on August 30th Evening, the TV developed a huge black smudge top to bottom and about 8 inches wide. I was nervous as I've never needed after sales help from Visions, despite buying several systems over the years.
Less than 24 hours after my Call with Ian, the installer and Ian himself were at my house, installing a brand new replacement unit! To say I was impressed is an understatement.

Twice, products were defective. First time we found out it was a refurbished item, sold as brand new. Had it checked out by several places who all stated the deck was refurbished. It didn't have the packaging a "new" product would have, bluetooth wasn't working.

I was in desperate need for a new stereo, and Visions Red Deer crushed it! I initially went in looking for a new deck for my vehicle, but because Ian and Aaron worked out such a good deal for me, I had them install a whole new sound system. Head unit to doors, amp, wiring, box and subs.
They not only managed to give me a good deal on a great stereo, but the installation job was really nice! I maintain a very clean vehicle, and after they installed all that gear, my vehicle was returned to me as clean as it was when I dropped it off. It’s that attention to detail that makes them good at what they do!

I was having issues with my android tv and went in and met with Ian Pettifor from the Red Deer store. My first stop was a drop in and he explained potential issues with Android tv and I came back the next day and bought a Samsung UHD TV. All the apps loaded swiftly and not one issue. Instead, he was left standing there while they went to see if they could help anyone else. He left the item on the counter and is heading to Best Buy.

I came into Visions last week with questions about an amp for my turntable and Jarvis was a great help! He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and he also made suggestions to help me connect my vintage speakers for my turntable to my tv. I will definitely shop here more in the future!

I wanted to find a nice gift for my father for Christmas and Jarvis helped me figure out what to get him and helped me get it shipped to him. I'm not usually a fan of in person shopping, but visions has some nice salespeople.

Jarvis was extremely helpful, can't say I've had a sales experience go this smoothly before. Took the time to listen to my needs and then gave the perfect suggestions while explaining to my not so tech savvy self. Will be back in the future.

Today after visiting a competitors store and not getting any service and the sales manager at that store didn’t even give us 5mins of his time, we headed over to visions and we bought a 85” Sony 4K TV. The electronics manager Ian was super knowledgeable and explained the differences in the models we were looking at perfectly. The total transaction took about a hr and we were on the way home with big smiles and a new TV. We hung the tv and let me tell ya. WOW! Ten salespersons hanging around and nobody even bothered to help me. I wanted to buy a laptop computer. Poorly dressed, I guess.

Prices are reasonable, particularly during sales. Installation of remote start was quick and well done. Recommended for most home and auto electronics.

Store was Very Dirty. Stacks of stuff All over the place not organized properly. Even though they had a sign on the front window saying they handle every major Carrier for phones when I got inside and inquired they said they only do bell. Staff was on their phones in the store and did not even ask if we needed any assistance when we are walking around. I think the manager of this store needs to be fired. I have shopped here in the past and been happy with them but they have slid along ways and I will no longer shop here.

Went in to Best Buy and Visions to shop for a new phone just after Christmas. Mackenzie at Visions provided way more comprehensive plan ideas and was a much bigger help than the people at Best Buy. In the end, I went home with a new phone AND paying $20 LESS per month than my previous plan! AWESOME, thanks Visions!

They have sales often, so watch out for those if considering a purchase.

We had excellent help and service from Chris well buying a new TV. He effectively and efficiently walked us through the plus and minus aspects of various brands and models. Of which there are many. We had done our homework and he respected our wishes and perspectives that we expressed. The time taken for delivery was slightly longer than expected but the store made an effort to ensure our purchase would arrive ASAP. I appreciated their efforts. We had to return to the store for help with picture quality issues and again Chris provided professional and knowledgeable information to assist us.

Went to see about a computer to buy, very poor service nobody even acknowledged me looked around and all the sales clerks were just talking to each other and there were other customers in the store were also ignored.

I was having an issue syncing my TV to my new sound bar and Ian B talked me through it over the phone. Great service and I’ll be sure to continue shopping here.

Bought a laptop for my girlfriend before Christmas, its already broken. No one told me i needed to keep the box in order to get the warranty. The laptop lasted 3 weeks and Visions wont help out at all. I PAID FOR THE WARRANTY. They should tell you about this before you spend hundreds.
