Place is a joke bought a 300 dollar radio from them for my truck spent a hour installing it for me to turn it on and get nothing. They told me they can’t exchange it because it’s been wired in and they can take a look at it for 100$/hr to see what’s wrong with it. I’ve wired in countless radios with no issues and double checked all wiring it is not a wiring issue. Not impressed.

We started our visit at Visions and we were planning to go to several stores on a recent Saturday. We bought electronics in 2022 and were happy with Vision's service, but I had no idea the visit to Nas' store would be so great that we didn't even go to another store in 2023! Darrell greeted us with a casual, friendly welcome and listened respectfully to the electronics challenges we were having with sound system wired into the home. We reviewed the Samsung series of TVs with him and he listened to our preferences, respecting what research we had already done. He pulled in Nas to the conversation, to help with further details about differences. We were shown a whole variety of movies on the floor models without any annoyance. Then, both staff gave us lots of time to chat as a family to make our decision. They stayed neutral and were not pushing one model, or one feature on us. They talked to us like we were the only people in the store, not rushing to other customers. The atmosphere of the store was positive, warm, and staff seemed really happy, laughing while working. Pricing was excellent and delivery staff were just as professional. Thanks Darrell and Nas and importantly the delivery team who were devoted enough to commit to the agreed upon booking day arriving at 7pm with more deliveries to do!

Had a wonderful experience with this store. Sumeet was very helpful over email to confirm stock availability and ordering options. In the store, Darryl took a lot of time to help me find the items I needed and worked within my budget. It was a great experience, and I would highly recommend the store - especially Darryl and Sumeet!

It's been a month and still waiting on my replacement tv was told they had one put away for me then told they didn't, then told that it will take weeks for them to get a new one from the warehouse that's in town.if it was not a replacement I would go elsewhere.

Definitely come see Nasri the assistant store manager at this location. He’s knowledgeable, provides amazing service and can get you the best deals by far. I’ll never go anywhere else!

Stephen at the Signal Hill location is fantastic! He’s knowledgeable, quick and extremely pleasant. He selected for me three TV wall mounts, all different sizes and function, exactly what I asked for, and had the installation appointment booked…all in under 10 minutes! Highly recommend taking your business here!

Although they did not have the particular piece of tech that I was looking for the staff was incredibly helpful and suggested where I could find it and even apologetic that they didn't have it.

I am not sure about the other branches, yesterday we went to signal hill to buy two number of TVs of 43" and 50" from Hisense which I already saw online at their website, the sales guy had no clue if they have them in display or stock etc, he kept asking us tell what do you want, what do you want I expected a sales person to brief about the Model and it's features rather he kept saying he cant show me even a packed box (I wanted to assume the size to compare with my room rize) he kept saying its in the storage and left us without continuing the conversation, I tried escalating to the person at the Customer Service area who was also fiddling with his phone and had no interest in Sales. I was disappointed with such unprofessional behaviors and left the shop without buying the TV and I went to Walmart and bought those TVs right away for a better price and service, if the CEO is reading this consider visiting your signal hill branch and ask if they really want to sell products!

Great place for electronics, Domingo has helped me out on many differnt occasions and you can not beat the customer service he provides.

I walked in to buy a new mouse and this guy named Darryl really did a great job at explaining which one to buy. Overall super helpful and I would recommend shopping here.

If you’re going to this location you need to ask for Domingo. He is super knowledgeable with car speakers/decks, tv’s, and other electronics. Made quite a few large ticket item purchases with his help and it’s always been a great experience.

I was able to buy my first brand new TV from here. The associate Darryl helped me and was very understanding of my financial situation and got me a TV for a price I can't complain about. Great guy working at a great store!

Very good location for car audio enthusiasts or just entry level modifications, the sales rep Domingo has helped me build systems since I was in high school and has always been a very knowledgeable and friendly person to talk to about anything in the car audio department, I've seen him help people that know nothing come out with a fantastic set of subwoofers and assist enthusiasts like myself to completely overhaul my own cars stereo system. I Highly recommend the location and I highly recommend Domingo as the guy you go and request to see.

I went in looking for a new stereo head unit a few years ago. Domingo was very professional and up front. He's still very helpful today.

All I can say is that this stores employees and customer service were really good. When I was looking to upgrade my office and lounging space with some new equipment I remember talking with Darryl and receiving some good advice on the setup.

Needed assistance working out how to use the warranty for my TV and Chrissy was an amazing help. Very knowledgeable and understanding.

Had a great experience. I needed some walkie talkies to convince my children that the pasta was haunted. A young lady named Chrissy helped me find a set that was in my price range.

Darryl is a blessing really helpful knows a lot about tv he was even nice enough to put on the NASCAR when I asked him my god the tvs he showed me I thought I was there watching it with my own two eyes all I was missing was a six pack and it would of been the most magical moment

We just purchased an LG UHD TV at this location from a salesperson named Domingo. We found the entire experience enjoyable & pain free. We had a certain model in mind and Domingo discussed with us the various pros and cons of a few different models. He listened to our various concerns & questions and was quite knowledgeable regarding the specifications & technology of each TV. If you're in the market for a new TV I would definitely recommend braving the traffic to shop here!

I've dealt with Domingo for car audio in a few different vehicles now. He is very knowledgeable with guiding me to which stereo systems or car starter systems I've required. He gets me booked in fast, and always leaves me feeling well taken care of. Even if I only call with questions, he is able to provide me the answers im looking for. The pricing at Visions is very reasonable for car audio, car starters, and their installation, and I have never had any issues with their workmanship.

This is THE Visions location to go for service and selection. I was at 2 other locations, and while one also offered good service, they had no stock. I checked online and made my way here to Signal Hill. Awesome people, hands on management, and a good selection on IN STOCK items!

Staff was great, not pushy, knowledgeable.

I got a tv for CHEAPER than Amazon and Best Buy. I asked about a sound bar and I was informed they had one for “in store” pricing, which was lower than the website

DONT buy from hateful companies like Amazon. These guys price match anyways. They have what you need for home entertainment at a lower price.

And imagine, you get a lemon from Amazon, their return policy for large items is horrible. I also will be going to visions over best buy where possible.

In short I was impressed. I’ll be back

We found Adam extremely unprofessional and a very poor spokesperson for Visions. We had bought a TV for $2,500 with the 5 year extended warranty which had cost an additional $500 dollars, totalling $3,000. He told us the warranty would have covered a replacement of the TV should something happen. He then sold the TV on us while it was being held. When we spoke with him he offered us a model below (much less value and quality) and a credit of $50 on our $3,000. He was not accountable for his own mess up and was expecting us to pay for it with a much lower quality TV. I would strongly suggest not to buy here, and if you do please do not trust the warranty and do your own research into it before purchase. There has been many bad horror stories on their warranty policies.

Went in and talked to Jose as I wanted a new case for my phone. Got my case and he gave me some general info on phone plans as well for when I eventually decided to change things. Very helpful, thanks!

I came in with a reasonable idea for the TV I wanted to buy and Nav helped me confirm it was the right decision. He asked about how I'd be using the TV and what kind of content I'd mostly be watching. He also offered some alternative models to consider with similar capabilities within my price range. Overall, this helped me confirm I was making the right choice.

Ask for Nav and you'll get an accommodating and thoughtful salesperson who care about the customer experience. The follow-up call the next day was a nice touch and am I happy with my purchase. Ask for Nav if you're in the market for a TV and a great deal.

The experience I had at this visions was the best I ever had! I live in NE within 5 minutes of the NE location but I would gladly drive across the city to come here

Special shout out to Darryl and Domingo who basically saved my life! With this heat my 2 dogs were getting sick including me. Now my bedroom is cool as ice. Expected it to be a bit quitter but this is an amazing machine. Went in to check out a full new audio set up for my Volvo. I was greeted by Domingo and told him aprox what I was looking to spend and the sound quality I wanted. He wasted no time showing me a few options and letting me listen to them. Gave me much better prices than what was advertised so I walked out with a brand new set up that day. Very friendly and knows what he’s talking about.

David Guthoerl is really a great guy! He helped us compare prepaid service with contract. And when we decided, he went through the process of signing up a two year contract with Virgin Mobile with lots of patience. We got an iPhone 12, and he even helped us to put the protection screen on the phone. Overall, a very nice shopping experience.

As always, the staff helped me sort out which was best for me, and I left with a TV & Sound Bar. Adjusted for the second time. Original review was a week after I bought an air conditioner. Manager called me after I posted negative review. I agreed to adjust the review based on a technicality (original review was not completely accurate when I said the delivery date was 'promised' but had taken over a week and still hadn't Recieved it). That was a month ago. Still no air conditioner. They have called me several times and left no message. When I call them back (three times) they have no idea who called me or where my air conditioner is. Highly not recommended.

Came in a bit later than expected about an hour before close, and we received help from a salesperson Moe. He was friendly, thorough and the team helped us find what we needed. Their prices and selection are more than fair, and I do know that they have an excellent warranty if you choose to go that route. Thanks to the team for helping with it all! It's also nice that it's a locally owned place that appears to have a friendly management team, and staff.

David is exactly the person that you want to talk to about your TV purchase. He was very enthusiastic and excited to explain the technology behind each TV and helped us find the perfect one to maximize value within our budget.

It’s been 10 years that i’ve been a well treated customer. Domingo has jumped around 5 different locations and i’ve jumped to follow. With his patience and knowledge it’s well worth it!

Worst ever customer service experienced from this store today. The store manager “David” is having NO customer service attitude nor accountability for their low quality product. Couple days ago I bought two fans on sale for 49$ as they were too noisy by the way the original price was $99, I wanted to return them but unfortunately I hadn’t good experience with him.

Omg! David and the team at Visions Signal Hill are fantastic! I bought headphones for my son and the clip on the side broke. Physical damage. David replaced them. If ya have a teen, ya know they can be grumpy when their electronics fail. Happy teen and super happy mom!

Cell phones are locked to bell when purchasing outright. Make sure you mention this to the employee when trying to purchase. Might save you time in the end.

Came in to look at a TV today, it wasn't turned on when I got there because of a recent power outage, they were nice enough to get the TV plugged in for me (which is fairly difficult when they're wall mounted like this one), and David was great to talk to, really knowledgable and gave me a great deal. I highly recommend coming in and talking to David if you're looking for a TV, he'll point you in the right direction based on your needs, not just gonna upsell you for no reason.

I was very excited when buying my tv but the customer service and time taken to pack the item made it annoying. Going home and opening the item left me devastated seeing the base stand for tv and screws missing which could have lead to my tv falling on floor. When i went to take remaining stuff, the guys showed no regret on behaviour about the inconvenience i faced. Highly disappointed

This comes a few months late, but my Dad was moving back in December from Vancouver to a town in the Mountains and wanted to outfit his new house with some tech. After a few calls to different stores he quickly landed with Dave and his team at Visions Signal Hill. Being local I did most of the arranging and picking up of the electronics for my dad. If you ever need an excellent experience buying electronic goods. Never go anywhere else! Domingo from this store in SW Calgary is the friendliest, customer satisfying, sales person I have ever met.
I highly recommend this store, and although maybe somethings might be cheaper online. I am never shopping anywhere else for my electronic needs.
I have been to 3 other Visions stores around Calgary and wasn’t satisfied with the service.
After my experience with Domingo it has definitely redeemed my original experience with Vision Electronics shopping.

We had a Nvidia Shield Game Pro that we purchased almost 3 years ago. The device broke down having issues and our extended warranty was near expiry. David at Visions Signal Hill stepped up to the plate and accommodated us. He gave us the newest version of Nvidia which was of lessor value however David explained how they were taking a loss. David gave us the extended 3 year warranty again and an additional USB stick to make up the difference in value. David met & exceeded our expectations where we greatly appreciate a company that will stand behind their products & warranty! Needless to say we would happily continue shopping at Visions. Great work David Thank you very much!

The service provided by Visions staff on the 12th & 13th was first rate. From well informed and knowledgeable sales person, Dhaval, to chap who helped load into my vehicle and the gentleman who helped me dispose of my old tv in recycling bin. Great and friendly staff all.

Had an amazing experience at this location in signal hill. Everyone was so helpful, especially David and Stephen! They both went above and beyond. We couldn’t find an adapter for our TV, to watch home videos. They listened to us and knew it was important. They looked for the right cord, even past closing hours. I would highly recommend going to this store to get your electronics. Make sure to ask for David or Stephen! Amazing customer service!

Went into the store looking to upgrade my home theatre and dealt with Marcel. He was super helpful and showed me a bunch of different TV's and sound bar options. I ended with the best Home Theatre upgrade I could've hoped for. I highly recommend dealing with Marcel, you won't be disappointed.

My first option for electrical goods!

I bought a headset at Vision electronics in late January. Nav Shergill at Visions in Calgary SW was an amazing support and gave great advice and sales service.

I purchased a Cobra Road Scout (Radar/Dashcam) from visons.ca and paid for the extended/extra warranty. The device unfortunately requires a special smartcord, which shorted out when my car stalled. This cord needs to be plugged into a lighter jack; most lighter jack plugs can be unscrewed to change the fuse. Cobra decided to fuse their smart cord tightly. Annoying.

Whatever the case - I brought my cord and Cobra device into this Visions location. A salesperson named Mo (probably short for Mohammed) was eager to help, and received some guidance from Domingo in car audio/security department. Mo took down my contact information, and Domingo assured me they would get the cord replaced by Cobra and call me. That was SIX WEEKS AGO.

I have since called the location TWICE. Neither time did the person answering the phone actually transfer me to car audio to talk to either Mo or Domingo. It almost felt like they were shielding me. The second call I was at least asked about what product I was referring to, as I was frustrated - I was told "there are no Cobra Road Scouts here yet. Someone will call you when it is in and the part is here. "

In the past 6 weeks, I did the research and learned the Road Scout model can use the same cord as the Cobra Escort series. I am surprised "sales experts" were not aware of this, and did not look to see if they had any Escort cables in stock. They did look to see if the Road Scout model was in the back, and there were none - they promised they would get another cord in by claiming this one was faulty.

Through my own research, I was able to obtain two replacement cords off the internet for $10-$20 each. They work fine. Furthermore - I could have LITERALLY just ordered another Road Scout from Visions.ca, have it delivered to my house, swap the wires and claim it was faulty and return it - all within the span of a couple of weeks.

I used to work at Future Shop as a commission salesperson. I am sorely disappointed with the staff at this location, and the service I have received. They proved again that there is no point in buying an extended warranty. And I was very surprised at the lack of knowledge about the product I purchased, and the cord that needed replacement. Finally - there has been absolutely no follow up in the span of 6 weeks despite my leaving the cord with them. This is probably the last time I try to support "local" in terms of commission electronics salepeople.

Too bad as I would have bought a soundbar from these folks - something I have been shopping for a while, and a product they have in stock. Lost commission for salespeople who are likely only concerned with making a sale, rather than helping out customers who have already purchased.

Completely garbage experience.

I bought myself my very first GoPro camera. The service I got at the store was amazing and they were very interested in my needs and gave me their best prices for what they could supply me with. I ended up buying the Hero 7. I would like to extend my appreciation to Marcel Fontaine for finding what I needed and even refunded my warranty due to financial issues. Thank you so much and I will be back tomorrow to purchase my microsd card!

If you want amazing service, ask for Nav. He is approachable, reasonable and down to earth. No sleazy sales pitch from him. He will answer your questions and give you the best deal possible. Will go back to see him for future purchases.

I purchased a Samsung Picture Frame television from the Visions Signal Hill location in Calgary in May 2021. I love the product! It however at times offers some challenges for a non technical person. I have been very grateful for the support I have received from the store staff to help me sort out some of my challenges. David the manager and Nav have been very helpful. As a matter of fact Nav assisted me today with a technical issue as well a gave me excellent advice about a product (over the phone) that I hope to buy in the near future.

For me, it is this type of customer service that encourages me to be a return customer and to share my positive experiences with family and friends.

I bought an OLED TV, stand and sound bar at Visions Signal Hill from Dhaval Shaw and during this transaction, also had an opportunity to deal with the store manager. I found their customer service to be outstanding. As I had shopped at another electronic store, I was very happy with the price Dhaval and David gave me. Leaving the store, I felt they really valued my business and I won't hesitate to return when I need another product. I should also mention delivery, set up and information provided was well done, including phone calls prior to delivery etc. Based on my experience I'm happy to recommend this store.

I hate giving bad reviews but the assistant manager was very rude to me and got upset when I wasn't understanding how the price beat policy works.

The other employees were nice and helpful however.

I've had this experience with a few visions stores before aswell. They don't customers like humans. Never coming back to visions.

We purchased a Washer and Dryer set in September 2020. Was supposed to be delivered in Nov. Its now Dec 26, no appliances have arrived. Both my wife and I have called and visited to store for updates. We keep getting told someone with call (4 times so far) and no calls.

Very good place for all electronic needs, store staff is very helpful especially the assistant manager and overall freindly environment. They were very helpful in my purchase of a tv one which I am extremely happy with.

Absolutely horrible service by this location. Especially if the general manager David is the reason behind my review. I asked if a product I was wanting to buy was going to be final sale upon driving 45 mins. I was told no final sale.
I get to the store and told. "it's fine with me that you drove down far" and ya this DVD deck is final sale. Avoid this location and avoid talking to David until he learns how to manage a proper store.

The most rip off store I experienced. I know what I'm looking but the sales rep force upselling. Now I tried to do refund [Because I can't get my product installed properly], they simply just tell you they can't accept it because its used. Good luck to those who plan to do refund in this store.

Decent selection and prices, personally I feel like employees could benefit from a uniform or some sort of identifying marker that they work there. When everyone is wearing different colour shirts it's hard to figure who to ask for your questions. Side note, I hoped that they would have remodeled since they moved from across Sarcee to this location, but seems not. Definitely in need of a renovation, still feels like the 90s!
