Excellent quality. Sound is crisp and clear. Worth every penny. Took a while to set up but more my fault then the Denon. Makes it all worth while. 10 out 10
Excellent staff. They weren't pushy in trying to sell me stuff. Professional and accommodating. At least the staff I spoke with was very honest and gave me the space that I wanted when shopping.
Wish I could leave a no star review. Originally bought 2 dash cam units from St Albert store. We got the front and back camera package as it was cheaper than the 1 camera package and included the hardwiring kit. Install was quicker at the Southside location. Ended up there only to come back for our vehicle and the sales guy had decided because we couldn't use the rear camera; to return our 2 camera product and get the single camera unit. Thought he was doing us a favor by pricing it the same but then charged us an additional $80.00 for the hardwiring kit. All without our authorization. Called to complain and the sales person advised that my husband was well aware of what was going on. Who in their right mind spends more money after getting a great deal originally? ! Then after getting off the phone with him, he called my husband and admitted he lied to me. Stay away from this place!
Very disappointed with their service. I bought 65" samsung TV, I haven't setup the TV, but open the box and plugged it in to check.it wasn't working, we took back to the store, they said, they tested it before leaving, now they refuse to exchange it. They said, it is a physical damage and they can't do anything about it. I spent about 2000 dollars on it. The time of selling TV, the salesperson name BAWA said, "if any thing happens to TV within the month, bring it back and we will exchange it, now they refused to do anything about it. They clearly put it on us.

Emanuel has been tgere in sales for years. Knows his brands, is honest & professional. Buy the extended waranty if you don't use it you get a credit you apply for when oeriod enfs. No claims. It's been great over the years for us. Didn't know they started sellimg appliances a few years ago. Just bought some.
I took my 2002 yukon in for a head unit replacement. Told them needed the new deck, and i already had all wires ran for amp and backup cam, wanted steering wheel controls working as well as backup cam, which was already installed. To check the installed amps and speakers and crossovers already done.
They charged over $300 for the install, and in the process disconnected my factory speakers in my truck despite having the factory hookup retention unit supplied to them. No mention of this not working at pickup. They Basically they mounted a deck and configured a steering wheel control adapter And disconnected four other speakers, and sub with amp in the process. . Not happy. I guess if you want something done right take it to a specialized place.which i will now have to do, or just rewire it myself. #wasteoftime
Mike from Visions saved the day for me and my family! We are customers of Visions, however I didn't even enter the store this day. I was outside of the store and my car battery died. I had no idea how to boost my car. I went into Visions asking for help. Without question, Mike came out and helped us boost our car! He was so kind, patient and willing to help! Thank you Mike!
This place is a joke. Preordered a radar detector. Called twice to see if it was in yet. Was told just wait, not to panic, they will call when it’s in. Get a call 2 weeks later asking me how I am liking it. THEY GAVE IT AWAY. They admitted they gave it away. Then when we came in to pick it up they asked for 2 pieces of Id. Not sure how you accidentally give something away when you have to show Id for it. Came in and we were treated like garbage… argued with… and pretty much had to fight for them for price protection because the price dropped at Best Buy. Funny…. If they didn’t give our first one away we wouldn’t be price matching it at all…. 20 minutes waiting for a manager and still here. What a joke this who experience was. Poorly run business. Not even an apology. Maybe the staff should spend less time on their cell phones and helping people. While we were in here there was 2 people who yelled out loud… does anybody work here? As they were all standing there on their phones.
I almost got finessed when buying a $4000 tv. I was not told about the promotional xbox deal that came free with my tv. Upon noticing I brought it up, salesman complied and added the promotion. Don't know why I wasn't told about this before I was ready to pay.
We express our highest compliments and appreciation to Visions, especially Rakib, Chris and Paul K! We purchased two television systems from Visions on 34th Avenue (Edmonton) in 2021. We explained to Rakib, that one unit was to be for use on the main floor of our house and the other was to become the visual component of our entertainment centre in our basement. We told him if possible to make use of our existing BOSE speakers, and our existing DVD player. Rakib clearly explained all our options and pleasantly and patiently helped us to make our ultimate selections. Rakib also made arrangements for Chris to come and install the two systems. With one assistant, Chris rapidly and flawlessly completed both installations in a single day while, at the same time carrying out our additional requests for both units. One space we had to install in was very specific and both Rakib and Chris helped us choose the best positioning and options. Over the year it became apparent that our old DVD unit did not interface as well as we would have liked with the new television system and we desired a change. Rakib at Visions remembered us and quickly with Paul K had several potential DVD models for us to choose from. When we made our choice, Rakib expedited the shipment to their store location. Rakib, at our request, quickly arranged to have Chris bring the unit to our house where he swiftly reassembled our whole system (due to ongoing house renovations) and inserted the new DVD player. He then gave an informal quickie course on DVD operation for the technically challenged! We were able to pay Chris for the DVD player and the house call without ever going to the store. The final price, with sale discount, had already been given to us by Rakib before Chris had even arrived. The next day Rakib followed up to be sure we were happy with everything. I hope those reading this description of our experience with these exceptionally competent and pleasant individuals will understand why we highly recommend this Visions store to anyone who may ask. As outlined on our return policy, "if you received a damaged product, you must notify Customer Service within 24 hours. Failing to do so may result in a denied claim. " However, the unit that you described to be defective may be eligible for a defective exchange, as you are within the defective exchange period. Paul "Slimeball" Fyvie was reluctant in refunding my money after continuous delays from the manufacturer. Tried on multiple occasions to make me purchase something inferior. Also told me a story about how long he had to wait for a dishwasher. He's definitely not doing Visions any favours in customer service. A totally dishonest salesman with zero integrity. He's everything companies try to stay away from to remove the stigma of greasy salespeople. Somehow he slipped through the cracks. As a business person I would never employ such a person. I usually buy phones online to avoid bad customer service BUT Matt in the phone section help me out to get a nice brand new phone and updated my old plan to a much better one, he also got me an excellent deal with some accessories that I needed with my brand new phone! Awesome guy to deal with and perfect customer service from him too.
I bought a mini fridge online for in store pickup. A few days later, my husband fixed the old fridge so took the new, unopened one back for a refund. We are from out of town and unfortunately did not realize they don’t take returns on Black Friday (although I absolutely understand why!). They went entirely beyond the call of duty to get the refund today despite lack of paperwork. It took one Manager and 2 minutes! This store has EXCELLENT customer service! Excellent protection plan policies, and even bonuses for picking up in store when shopping online. We will be getting everything we can here that we may need! Visions south side is “our” store. Thank you for answering your phone without the use of a recording too. So nice to see and hear real people, real world policies and real service ️
My command starter is 11 yrs old and the fob decided to stop working. I was on the hunt for a fob, and met Shawn at the 34th Ave location. Shawn helped me through text to find the info he needed. After not being able to find some info he needed I took my vehicle to Shawn. He pulled the truck into the bay, found a fob and programmed it, all within 30mins. Ryan, the tech let me know that these fobs are now obsolete and I had just gotten the last one in stock. These gentlemen are my heros! Thank you for the great experience and fantastic customer service. Hey Management, get these guys a Tim's!

I got warranty on my device for a computer monitor from sherwood park and got the warranty due to them saying take it and if you don't want it later just return/refund at any visions store
I decided I won't need the warranty and the rep that helped me at this 34th location firstly states "I can't return this here if a rep gave you a discount of the item". Didn't make sense to me when I purchased it when it was on sale? The rep didn't give me a discount, visions just had a sale for it.
He then goes talk to another person and then ask do you know the rep that helped you, there was a cashier name on my receipt but I didn't know for sure if that was the person's name, because of that, unsure of cashier, he told me that the rep/manager that helped me at the sherwood park location would have to process the return. I feel as if he just didn't want to process a quick 1 min return on the warranty and just wasted my time. This place is usually really good, they have helpful reps and I get most of my electronics here, but I guess only helpful when they get sales otherwise they don't care about your visit.
This review is for Visions Electronics on 34th Avenue in Edmonton. We have been dealing with the Sales Manager Paul Fyvie on our purchase of a laptop. We have found Paul to be very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We had an issue with the laptop and he dealt with it immediately. Eashaan Kheterpal helped get our new replacement laptop up and going in no time at all. Eashaan was also very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. This Visions is definitely our go to store.
We went in to look at new TVs to decide what we wanted to replace our 16 and 20+ year-old ones. We had done some research before going in to narrow what we wanted. Short Paul came over to help and we explained what we wanted based on the rooms they were going in. He discussed our unique needs and viewing preferences with us (connection to receivers in different rooms, lighting differences, room sizes, etc.) and pointed us to a couple of different models to view for each. After selecting potential TVs, we then discussed a new receiver, HDMI cables (long lengths needed), and warranty. After adding everything up (I'll admit, it was a bit higher than we'd initially wanted to spend), he went to discuss a package discount with his manager and came back a few minutes later with a price that put everything at a reasonable amount for us. Short Paul even searched all stores in Canada for the specific receiver we wanted that was out of stock.
Did we spend more than we'd targeted? Of COURSE we did! But we had full understanding of what we were purchasing because Short Paul spent time discussing the differences between the TVs and receivers with us and answering our many questions. He listened and understood what we wanted and showed us a couple of choices to match each TV location then left the decision up to us. We never felt pressured into considering something bigger or more expensive or something that wasn't we asked for. Short Paul and Govil made our shopping experience informative, quick, and pleasant. We will continue to shop at Visions for electronics - thanks guys!
I went in to visions to buy a laptop, but needed some expert advice. Mr. Matveev answered all my questions and provided excellent and efficient overall service and convinced me of the value of the Visions warranty program. Very professional and friendly. I am happy with my new Toshiba notepad. Thank you.
Ok, but don"t ask about led, TV's, they only have crystal screen TVs, better clarity "but" not repairable though, I was told by tv repair people, crystal screens break or damage screen is repairable. But led screen you can have LEDs changed out on backside if one panel burns out. And not sure if the screen can be replaced on. LED, tv or not? But probably won't go back to that Visions store again, but another Visions store maybe? Lol.
Shaq Ahmed was amazing. Took the time to go through all the features of the competing products and gave his impressions as well as asked a fellow sales person their thoughts of the projector units and TV’s being compared. He has been in the electronics business for 23 years, apparently. Will absolutely go through Shaq for my electronic needs.
I had an issue with my TV’s remote, so I went to the store today and met with Mr. Hugh, who provided me with an excellent customer service and an easy solution to my problem. Thanks again for your help Mr. Hugh!

2 months ago I bought a brand new computer set worth almost $2,000 of value Computer, headphone, mouse, extended Warranty, mousepad
Today, I came back to the store asking for an assistance on the Mouse that doesn't work on my computer if they can try on their computer He refused and said I should go back and try to reinstall the driver. I insisted 2 more times to please try it on for me if that's working on their computer or not. So, it is working on their computer. I asked him where do I go to reinstall the driver
He refused to help again and said it is not part of his job to tell me how and where. He doesn't have the specs of that PC or MAC or whatsoever brand I have. I said I am here already and I could provide that info. I just need an assistance on where to reinstall the driver. I am clueless.
Then he said that I should go watch YouTube Video for that. I insisted one more time. He then followed with aggressively raising voice stating that he is not going to repeat this again. "Go home, bye bye"
Well, I left.and said "Vision just lost their newly loyal customer"

We went to visions today to get a smart watch! Ajay Sangha went above and beyond to not only help us with what we wanted but took the time to explain the pros and cons of each and everything we asked. I was very very impressed by by service, the quality and the cost of the products. Will definitely be coming back for sure.
I came in to look at some car speakers. There was no one in the car audio section so I proceeded to check out the demo wall of speakers while I waited for someone to come help me. While I was checking them out a very helpful young man from another department came to help me. He tried to give me a demo of the speakers on the wall but as he was setting it up the car audio guy came back. I believe he was a manger. The nice man helping me asked the audio guy if he could give us a demo. The audio guy then yelled at me and the nice employee for touching the demo. He went on about how it's a $30k demo wall and how we shouldn't be touching it. DONT PUT A WALL OF SPEAKERS ON DEMO OUT IN THE OPEN IF YOUR CUSTOMERS ARENT ALLOWED TO TOUCH IT! This should be obvious but I guess not to the Bozos that work at visions. Only reason it's 2 stars and not 0 is because of the helpful young man who unfortunately also got yelled at by the audio guy for doing nothing but trying to help me.
Paul Fyvie was amazing! He explained the differences in tv options and qualities which made buying a new tv so easy. Would definitely recommend buying a tv from him.
Went in to find a male to double female rca for my head unit to split for my amp, couldn't find one anywhere I looked, the employees in the audio section found me one and gave it to me for free and now my stereo sounds amazing, thanks boys! I'll definitely be returning to that specific visions for now on, 5 stars!
Great customer service, solid deals and thankfully a good return policy. Nothing wrong with the product, it was too small for what I needed and I waited a long time to return and they took it back, no hassle. They offered me an even better deal to accommodate my needs. Thank you.
Not going back to Vision stores. Return policy is pathetic. When the product I bought is defective they failed to help me and wants to send for repair instead of replacing.
Yesterday I purchased a pair of Focal headphones from Neil-Daniel at the South Edmonton location. He was most helpful. I was initially looking at the Sony which would have taken 4-6 weeks to arrive (boxing week, no surprise, lol), till he told me about the Focal that had come it. I went ahead with it, and they sound amazing! Good recommendation and service!
The automotive team here are awesome, they set me up with an appointment and, when I brought my car in, they got my remote starter working again! On top of the great customer service, they didn’t even end up charging me!

Purchased a 55" LG TV as a Christmas gift for my dad on Nov. 24, , 20. It took Loomis Couriers (a forwarder with a 1.6 out of 5 approval rating) THREE weeks to deliver from Visions' Winnipeg warehouse to Northeastern Alberta. Noticed several perforations to the TV box but Loomis was long gone. Once unpacked the horror of extremely late delivery was exacerbated by the horror of a TV screen cracked in multiple places. It took a further 15 days (Dec. 30,20) to have the credit for this fiasco appear on my account! So much for my dad's Xmas present! During all this time Loomis was found to be posting misleading tracking updates and Visions was incommunicado; their help line was a joke! Even to report and secure the credit was a nightmare. In frustration, an attempt was made to secure help from a Visions physical store, only to be be refuted by the manager saying he would REFUSE any attempt to return the wrecked TV to his store! By way of perspective, on-line purchases made at Home Depot and Wayfair that same week arrived in under a week! So it wasn't the Christmas rush or the pandemic-it was Visions. This was, to reiterate, the worst on-line purchase ever! It will be my last one and I offer this rather lengthy review as a caution to anyone contemplating a similar purchase from Visions.
Aj @ Edmonton south in the cellular department is an absolute delight to deal with. Goes above and beyond to make sure he's getting you the best deal. And explaining everything about your device, contract, and accessories. Real and absolute pleasure having dealt with him.
My salesman Govil Basra was very helpful in processing a backorder on the LG 65CX tv. When he mentioned that the TV was back-ordered, he stated that if I found a TV somewhere else before this backorder TV arrived, that he would fully refund my pre-purchase. This made me much more comfortable with this purchase. He was again very helpful in my purchase.

I bought a Hitachi 32 inch Smart TV. Did not get to speak to a sales person as it was boxing day. I returned the TV the following day, the picture was horrible. Thanks so much to James, he accepted the return eventhough, they were not accepting any retuens until Januay 4th. Very good aervice over all.
The customer service isn't great, at least after 5 p.m. I was shocked by the lack of service considering I had a much better experience a few years ago. Firstly, given the small number of customers in the store, I was surprised how many staff stayed behind their counters and didn't come out to offer help. I overheard one member say home time, so I felt like he was more concerned about leaving than making sure I was looked after even if it was to find a different staff member before clocking out.
My purpose for visiting the store was to inquire about whether they had a certain laptop in stock as the website said it was an in-store item only. I tried calling the store three times to be transferred to the computer department only to be hung up on before talking to a computer sales person. This experience makes it an easier decision about where I'll buy computer products, and if I do use Visions in the future, I'll bypass the store and stick to the website only.
I had great experience at Visions. Ajay helped me with a follow up I had with Ryley. I had conserns about battery life in a laptop so fast charging was the solution, plus a 1080p screen and back lite keyboard. Holly the front till worker is friendly and easy to talk to about financing options. I know where mom is getting her next labtop. Thanks for the great experience Visions.
Really appreciate the efforts done by Ms. Cecilia and Mr. Ken. I was declined from Canadian tire and best buy, but staff helped me to get me approved. I Definitely recommend this store.
Great experience and even better service. I was only here to drive a friend here and Ajay from the phone department not only helped my friend but also got a savings of $50 a month on my phone bill!
I got some incredible information and made a really smart purchase at Visions on 34th. James Brochu was highly knowledgeable and helpful. He cared more about me getting the right product to meet my needs than making a quick sales. I thought I needed a new receiver/amp for my home theatre system but James showed me how my existing system would work the way I needed it to just with a universal remote.
We have always been treated with respect and great service at this location. It is our first stop when we are looking to buy entertainment gear like tv or stereo.
Paul and Rakib helped my dad and I out with some new TV’s, home theatre systems, and installs. Along the way, they were able to show us various options that fit with what we were looking for, and did it all at a great price for what we walked away with. I’ll be back.
