The staff here are pleasant, accommodating and professional. Dr. Shawn and the dental hygienist makes sure you have a good experience and go over any concerns or relevant info for your care.

5 stars all across the board! Had an excellent experience with Dr. Shawn and the dental hygienist. Dr. Shawn was very patient and meticulous with my teeth while ensuring that I was always comfortable and satisfied with the job at the end. From the moment you walk in and talk with the front admin, to the offer of water, and the option of watching a Netflix show during your dental appointment, this is by far the best dental office experience I’ve ever had. I strongly suggest this practice, if I could give 10 stars I would!

Dr Christina Matrangolo and team were phenomenal. They took away the high anxiety I used to have going to the dentist. I would highly recommend Viva Dental to anyone who has dealt with a lot of negative experience & anxiety going to the dentist. Everyone at Viva are really supportive, understanding & patient.

Love Viva Dental Wellness. This clinic is definitely one of the most Modern Dental Clinic that I’ve been to. Not only does the clinic carry some of the latest innovations, they definitely use some of the most advanced dental technology in each of their private treatment rooms. Not hard to keep my mouth / jaw open when I’m constantly in awe. Such a beautiful state of the art dental clinic. Their front end team is friendly and hospitable. Gillian, their administrative manager creates a lifelong relationship with each patients; she goes above and beyond by making the transition from another dental clinic to Viva Dental a breeze. Their receptionist Andrea help prepared me by email and welcomed me with open arms upon entering. Their administrative coordinator Brittney, extremely pleasant and patient when booking our whole family in for our next visit. Charlene helped me feel comfortable and at ease while she uses all their amazing gadgets to check my dental health. Dr. Christina, is a wealth of knowledge. She is wonderful, professional, compassionate and full of empathy. I am definitely happy to put our family’s dental health, trust and confidence in Viva Dental Wellness and highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a change.

Dr. Christina and her staff are amazing! I’ve never felt more welcome, more comfortable and more empathy. As someone who had terrible experiences with dentists as a child, anything other than a cleaning is traumatic. Dr. Christina was so kind and understanding. I was a hot mess and she coached me through the whole procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Christina and her team. She is by far and away the nicest dentist I have ever been to. Super professional, great work and so kind and gentle. Her staff are also so amazing and kind, making the whole experience top notch!

It's not very often that you walk into an establishment that you are greated with kindness, knowledge and efficiency. Viva Dental Wellness was the first dental institution that I felt I was acknowledged the minute I walked through the doors. The office itself was very clean and well looked after. Dental treatments and cost were explained to me in detail and I was involved in the process of my care which made me feel comfortable and confident in the staff of Viva Dental Wellness and the procedures I was having done. The actual dental treatments were done with the latest technology, efficiency and precision. I would definately recommend Viva Dental Wellness.

Update 2022: The cpap snore appliance only worked for 2 years and then I was referred to a respiratory care office for a cpap breathing machine. Disappointing because I really enjoyed sleeping with the appliance! Too bad something further couldn’t have been done! 2 years & $3000 down and out!

EDIT: We thought this dentist was great, friendly, the office was nice and fancy. But after we moved to a different city and changed to a dentist there - all the issues came out.
Fillings that weren't done properly and need to be redone, cracked teeth that were ignored and can't be fixed anymore, a decaying tooth that was just capped over instead of fixed that now needs a root canal. Absolutely blew me away listening to all the issues that should have been fixed right away. Our new dentist took new x-rays to compare to the ones that Viva sent him and for one, wasn't sure how they even diagnosed some issues as the exposure was all off, but also pointed out problems that should have been a top priority but weren't.
I went into Viva explaining my anxiety over dentists, and this is just adding to it. To make things worse, my insurance won't cover the fillings that need fixing because they've already paid for that tooth within a year. It took a lot for me to get over my mental health hurdles and start to get my teeth fixed, I'm heartbroken to have to start all over again. Very glad we switched and learned of these problems.

I hate going to the dentist but I have to admit the warmth, friendliness and professionalism of all the staff make my appointments so much easier. My family - including many extended family members - have been with Viva Dental Wellness for a number of years and have always felt that the services offered are always about providing choices to best meet client needs. In more recent times I have found that many services and businesses are increasing prices and finding ways to charge clients hidden costs. The Dr’s at Viva Dental Wellness have remained consistent and dedicated to their clients during this epidemic and for that I not only want to thank them for their many years of professional services but want to let everyone looking for a dentist know I am confident you will be in great hands if you choose Viva Dental Wellness.

Excellent service, and very friendly staff. Very quick and professional. I have a very low pain tolerance and I felt no pain having a crown done and old fillings replaced. Would highly recommend their dental service.

Ive had a huge fear of needles all my life and have struggled with the dentist for years until I met Dr Christina she uses a wand for freezing and I have been able to get freezing without any freak outs multiple times now, they also have multiple other options as well so you can pick and choose which ones works for you I definitely recommend coming here

An outstanding service by Dr. Charkhandeh and his staff. We are lucky to have such a talented dentist, sleep apnea specialist and educator in Canada. Wish I had been referred to Dr Charkhandeh first/earlier for a dental sleep apnea advice before trying and purchasing a CPAP machine which wasn't comfortable to use. The dental sleep apnea advice prescribed by Dr Charkhandeh is a way easier and more comfortable to use and helps with the sleep apnea.

Big kudo to Dr Charkhandeh for helping my son with the dental sleep apnea treatment as well. He is going out of his way to help his patients and to educate them. Also starting from the first phone call with Britney to book an appointment, his office (Dr and staff) is such a friendly, helpful and harmonious environment.

Tremendously overpriced.although my bad, I misunderstood the charges
for device.thought she said one thousand dollars total, which i paid right away, but received bill month later for another two thousand dollars.
I am a senior, on pension, with no insurance since my retirement.but paid the three thousand dollars total.for a device I now see online for a few hundred dollars.wont make this mistake again with this business.

Spent the three thousand originally last year on device.phoned back awhile ago to purchase next size smaller adjustment band. "oh no, you must come in for an appointment" (at additional cost).
Went online.bought a device for 59.99 that you can adjust yourself.my wife says it is working much better that device costing three thousand.

Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I never had to wait to be served and the staff all went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Also, when the dentist found out that I didn't have dental insurance, he gave me a discount as well as a free exam. Quite generous!

The staff is so professional from the moment you walk in until you leave the office. You are put at ease and made comfortable with offers of coffee, water what ever you need. The dentist and staff will sit down with you and explain everything to you including all costs, all the dental work that needs to be done. My wife and I have been a patiences for the last 7 years and would 100% recommend this dental clinic.

Had a wicked experience, every time I go to the dentist they are usually rude and stuck up. Acting like you're their personal piggy bank. This was honestly the first time I had a wicked experience, no forcing me to get un wanted work. Casual atmosphere, super nice receptionist Britney. All in all I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great work. Thanks doc. Will be back.

Excellent Clinic! Had troubles sleeping combined with continuance snoring and feeling of being tired constantly. After some tests they fitted me with an oral appliance which simply changed my life. I sleep better, feel more rested and no longer snore. Dr. Shouresh Charkhandeh was very pleasant and thorough during the entire process. Thank you very much for all your help would recommend them to anyone.

Update: After many years of going to a local dentist due to proximity I chose to go to Viva after my previous success with my sleep apnea. The service and quality of work was exceptional, they were amazing with my little guy's first visit and extremely professional. The noticed some issues that my previous dentist missed and provided solutions and timelines that were manageable for me and my finances. Dr. Shahin was very kind, caring and honest. We will now be going as an entire family to Viva, thank you. Highly recommended!

Viva dental is easily one of the best dental experiences I have had! The staff is welcoming and knowledgable, nothing is done without it first being explained in depth. This friendly environment makes dental visits enjoyable and comfortable! They are also taking all the necessary Covid precautions and thus there is no fear of your safety when at the office.
