I'm 65, active (slackliner/hockey) and have been managing a degenerative cervical spine issue (neck pain) since 2021. I had four rounds of cortisone injections over 2022/2023 and the last round actually made it worse. After drug therapy that did not work well, my doctor suggested physio. Seeing that the Vivo Cura clinic had specialist doctors focusing on pain, I thought that they would have top notch physiotherapy. I was right. I've only had three appointments with Marc Pesant, since September. He put me on a daily program of neck strengthening exercises. Go figure. Within two weeks the pain was decreasing. I am now 80% better and continuing to improve. Hardly ever need Tylenol. Also, I had hurt my knee falling on ice before last Christmas. Squats hurt. Marc gave me exercises to adjust how my kneecap tracks. I am 90% better and continue to improve. Recently, I decided my mid-life crisis would be to start goalie training. Marc is one of the best physiotherapists in calgary, after months of back pain previous unsuccessful treatments from others he was able assess me and get me back on feet again in a few short months! Can't recommend him enough!

Vivi has given me the best treatment I have had on my back. Would totally recommend for anyone. The staff are so friendly and full of tons of information. They keep informed the whole time. The doctor listened to all the past problems from other clinics (EWF). To ensure they did not happen here. And talked through every step as he went. So amazing.

I have been a patient of Vivo Cura for a number of years with the most pressing complaint being nerve impingement right side L4, L5 and SI. The decision was made to try radio-frequency ablations of these areas. This procedure was utilized several times over a span of three years. The first ablation provided pain free ambulation for 6 month- including golf. The last ablations, done in August of 2022, provided similar relief and to date I have experienced no return of the lower back pain. The staff are well organized and try to make you feel comfortable in their surroundings. The Physiatrist is very skillful with the procedure and little discomfort is experienced. I have confidence in Vivo Cura.

This is a long overdue review. I came to Vivo Cura Health after a neck injury that left me in a lot of pain.
Before coming to Vivo Cura, I have seen numerous health practitioners: chiropractors, acupuncturists, cranio-sacral specialists without much success.
With Ashley's help, my days have become a lot less painful and his friendly and caring demeanor made me feel safe each and every time.
He is very knowledgeable and I quickly understood that I was in good hands with him.

Marc Peasant is the ABSOLUTE BEST physio there is! I tore my ACL and did some other stuff to my knee and lost all hope and confidence in my ability to return to sport. Marc tailored a perfect regimen for me that not only challenged me physically but mentally. He prepared me in all aspects for return to normal life and sport. He is also the kindest soul out there. He cares about his patients far beyond their physical needs. So beyond thankful to have been under his care, love him beyond words and forever will be grateful:)

Vivo Cura Health has a very dedicated team. The facility has been set up with the patient in the forefront. They take all the necessary steps to make sure the patient receives the best of care. I can personally attest to Dr. Ron Burnham and Dr. Ashley Smith being at the top in their field. Their knowledge and experience guarantees the level care you will be given. Mark is awesome! I have been going collectively to Physio for a solid year bi weekly over the past few years with little lasting improvement. Not only did his first session of very simple and comfortable exercise relieve my pain immensely, in about a week, he is a great personality and friendly therapist. Highly recommend their services.

I have been to a number of different physio clinics in my life and this one is hands down the best one! If youre looking for a place to get treatment done then look no further than Vivo Cura! Everyone and not just the physio cares about you! You walk in and are greeted by the best front desk duo of Kayln and Jessica always a great time chatting with them! And then Kim is a blast in the few moments it takes for her to take you to your room are always fun! I've seen Colin and Marc and both of them are easily the best physiotherapists you will ever see in your life! They make it a very comfortable environment and make you feel truly cared for! I was seeing Colin first and he is the greatest! He is super knowledgeable about the body and what all the muscles are and he makes it really easy to understand! Sometimes i even felt like a physio thats how great he was at explaining things to me! Marc is one of the greatest physiotherapists I've ever had the pleasure of being in the presence of he has some of the strongest fingers ever and he will jab into your body to release the muscle but while you're in pain he will serenade you with his beautiful singing voice! You could compare it to the likes of Tina Turner, Cher and even ABBA! Everyone I've seen here that has helped me on my journey has been the absolute best! I dont feel just like another patient when i walk into the clinic they make me feel like im part of the team! I will never go to another physio place as long as I live!

I cannot give the Vivo Cura Clinic and staff enough praise for the amazing work they do. Dr. Burnham is an amazing practitioner and his staff are experts in all they do. I highly recommend this clinic.

Hello everybody, Vivo cura heath has gone out of their way to make sure that I was happy. Their staff and place of business is warm and inviting. They are there to serve car accident victims and more, they give you options, follow up with you and your opinion matters to them. I have had the best experience with them over anybody I have seen I am glad that I have had the opportunity to see them personally 1st hand on what they do they have helped me out so much gone up and out of their way to make me happy. I recommend them to everybody. Words can not explain how grateful I am to their team and everything they have done for me. God forbid I ever get into another accident again but I would definitely 100% go to them over any other clinic.

As long as you follow their steps do the treatment at home no matter how hard it is do it anyway you will get better. I know this from 1st hand myself coming from a car accident my back, knee, neck and shoulders were in pain, now I have been relieved of 90% of my pain as long as I keep doing the physio exercises at home I'm sure that I will be back to my 100% self. Again I recommend vivo over everybody so please go to them they are warm, friendly, helpful, kind and polite this is the place that you want to go to. They actually give a s*** and you see it, you feel it as well. I did and I recommend vivo anytime anywhere to anybody they are great.
