Really great and kind service, I had my jeans altered here and Dong did a perfect job, the sewing was seamless. So happy with the Wai’s Alterations and highly suggest it!

I have brought a client of mine to do some alternations on her pants. I was there during the fitting with Linda and we agreed on the length and the tapering. My client went for a second fitting but did not try them on again, because she trusted her and our initial agreement. On a $300+ value for alterations, the pants were not tapered in almost at all, the length was ridiculous. I went in with the pants to give her a redemption chance and explain her that were pants were too long and not what we initially agreed on. She started being very defensive arguing on an issue that was factual. I showed her the video of how she pinned the pants on our first meeting, and the end result with the same shoes. Instead of acknowledging the obvious proven mistake, she started combating me as a stylist and telling me they will be too short. She also asked me to stand in front of her camera, putting the inseam number on camera as in “just in case you will come back, I have proof”. I told her this was not her area of expertise to know how a pant should fit and that it would be up to me as a stylist to call the right desired length on my client’s ankle pant. Previously, she also did some dry cleaning of a vintage blazer. When I arrived home I was shocked to find out she charged me $38 as for a “men coat”. This is not a good way to do business and I will never refer a client to this woman again.

On top of it, this business is spreading lies about its customers. I kindly remind you that lying about a person online in an attempt to lower that person’s reputation is a criminal act in Canada and is ground for a lawsuit. You have a chance to retract your false statement that is not based on facts.

I had a 6 inch rip in my new down winter jacket. I brought it here right away without losing all the down fill and they repaired it really well using some skills that can only come years of experience. I can’t tell where the rip was so I’m very happy. Nice work ladies!

Terrible service - I'm not sure how/why this company has received positive reviews as the level of customer service is abysmal. Best to take your work elsewhere!

I brought my bridesmaid dress here and the ladies were so accommodating! I brought it in with less than 10 days before the wedding and they were able to alter it perfectly and have it to me a few days in advance! I had bought my dress online and needless to say it needed a lot of work, I am an E cup and needed to be able to go bra-less in this dress so lets just say they performed nothing short of a miracle. It fits perfectly and I feel very secure in it. 10/10 would go back! Pricing was definitely reasonable, it was $189 to take in the sides, straps and the back where the zipper is, this was a 3 layered gown - just to give some perspective. Very happy with the service I received there!

Needed a dress altered for an event. They did an excellent job and found a material that was hard to match, couldn't even tell that extra fabric had been added in. Incredible. Thank you!

I brought in an Alexander McQueen leather corset dress that had some difficult strap alterations and Linda did a wonderful job. Very fair price as well. The alteration had some issues after I picked it up, but her team went above and beyond to fix the issue. I'm so pleased with the adjustments, it's perfect! Thank you for your help Linda!

I brought in a Burberry dress to be tailored and I was hesitant because I wasn't familiar with their experience with designer goods, but I was very pleasantly surprised! Linda and the ladies at Wai's Alterations have great customer service, here are some of my notes:

- very polite, friendly, and good at listening
- offered suggestions and recommendations based on existing style and what flatters the body
- was upfront about limitations and pricing
- was willing and patient to pin various styles
- prompt with replying to emails and schedule changes

They took care of my garment and did their due diligence with fittings and open communication, and I really appreciated it! I will happily go back and recommend them for your tailoring needs!

Wai's altered both of my wedding gowns. They were successfully able to restructure the front of a gown that the manufacturers deemed impossible. They were always friendly and professional. All the work was done on schedule or earlier. Everyone in the shop was always careful to follow all health orders and it is very clean.

Linda was professional, efficient and her work is amazing! Very impressed and happy with my alterations on my bridesmaid dress. I would recommend Wai's alterations for any alteration needs. Very accessible from 4th and has a parking lot so you don't have to park on the street.

My request to resize a set of king size designer sheets & pillowcases was received

After having my original seamstress cancel my appointment to alter my wedding dress I reached out to Wai’s alteration. Linda got me an appointment quickly and the alterations took no time at all! Will definitely be going back for future needs.

Linda and her staff did such an amazing job altering my bridesmaid's dress that needed fixing. The dress had tons of sequins and embellishments, and they managed to alter the dress perfectly to fit my size. Such talented women! Thank you for the fantastic work!

I was in town, visiting from Toronto, and needed to make an emergency alteration to a pair of dress before a wedding. They took care of the alteration in 3 hours! They did a fantastic job and went out of their way to accommodate. Highly recommend!

I had been looking for a seamstress to do the alterations for my wedding dress and after reading all the great reviews on Wai’s Alterations, I decided to go with them. I came in to get a quote and it was much cheaper than the quote I received from the bridal shop I went to, which was a huge plus!

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received, and Linda and her team did such an amazing job with my dress! I was initially told it would take about a couple of months for the dress to be finished because of all the work that needed to be done, but they managed to finished the dress in just 3 weeks! I’m so excited to wear the dress on my big day and I will definitely be going back to Wai’s if I ever needed to get alterations done. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Pure magic. Wei’s has done extensive alterations on many pieces of clothing. Each time, the work is done flawlessly - it fits perfectly and is exactly what I had envisioned. They pay close attention to detail, and ensure I am 100% happy with the final product. I recently brought in both a long gown for a complete alteration, as well as a ski jacket that had been torn. Both were done beautifully - you cannot tell where the tear in the jacket was whatsoever - they managed to patch it flawlessly to look brand new. I highly recommend Wei’s.

I just picked up my wedding dress and it was perfect the first time around! It was perfectly hemmed, and the top was taken in leaving enough space for me to breathe (which other alterations places had not taken into consideration before haha). All the little details and care showed, and the result was perfect. Not a single thing needed to be changed! I was so excited, I tried on my dress at home multiple times throughout the day afterwards haha. Thank you so much!

I just picked up my wedding dress from Wai's and I am so happy with the result! Her work on my dress is excellent - she took in the bust portion of the dress which has complex fabric and boning details perfectly, hemmed 6 layers of fabric and put in a bustle. My dress is very fine soft fabric (silk tulle from WToo) and her delicate and detailed work is not noticeable - beyond the fact that my dress fits perfectly now! Her shop has very convenient parking out front and she has great availability for pickup since she is open on Saturdays. I will recommend Wai's Alterations to everyone from now on! I usually bring my jeans here to get fixed. Service is good and price is better than other places I’ve been before.

I have been a Wei’s Alterations customer for several years now and Linda and team have consistently delivered excellent work. I recently changed jobs and needed to revamp several pieces of my wardrobe - the Wei team provided that by working with me to update each piece to my specifications.

I brought in several shirts, and they were all done well. Cost more than I was expecting seeing as the shirts just needed to be taken in a bit, but they did good work so I did not bring it up.
Came back with a jacket that just needed to be hemmed a couple inches. Again, easy enough job, but I got some serious sticker shock on the bill. She may be a very capable tailor, but I feel the prices don't reflect the work being done, I will not be going back.

Brought a pair of jeans in to have the legs hemmed - not sure if the manufacturer has a measuring tape - the Wai's did an amazing job on them. Even matched the thread colour 5/5 would recommend.
