Walk-In Clinic at Walmart Sherwood Park by Jack Nathan Health

I have been coming to this location for over a year now. Every time I really need to see my doctor for an emergency. I call and he is fully booked for a week and not taking walk ins. I am left to figure out my blood pressure medicine myself and cross my fingers that i dont have another stroke at 37 or worse heart failure. There are no doctors taking new patients anywhere and there are absolutely no walk ins available anywhere. You are left by yourself with the lights off. This whole healthcare system has collapsed and no one cares.

Have been to this location on two different occasions and website stated they were open, but after attending location they were closed with doors locked and no staff onsite.

Waited until 9: 15 as they did not open at 9-I get it stuff happens, no doctor on Thursday’s -would be very professional if the website states that, the lady I spoke with indicated 4 times I can’t update the website -I politely asked if she could have someone who cared update the website -she said no -I said is there someone who can -no I’ve worked here 4 years and no can! Wow

Love dr Kester. He takes the time needed to explain things. Even if it means he has to take longer than normal and ppl have to wait. He doesn't support the revolving door clinic you see most everywhere else. He cares.

Unimpressed. Left messages in the am as no one answers and finally get a hold of someone 3 hours later and then they tell you they don't check there voice-mail. Awful business practice and very poor phone skills

I love my family doctor but trying to get ahold or have anyone answer the phone is impossible and SO frustrating I can call for hours with not one answer plus their mailbox is full! So I can’t even leave a message, for me I don’t care much but this is also my daughters doctor and when I can’t make her an appointment it’s VERY frustrating!

This clinic is horrible! The doctor is a joke. My mom had a car accident and wasn't feeling well when I took her for her appointment. He asked her to lie down and then when she got up, she got so dizzy and almost passed out. She didn't scream loud but just a reaction to how she felt when she got up. The doctor didn't show any care whatsoever. He told her not to scream and just slowly get up. The doctor scolded her for getting dizzy. That was the last time I took her to that clinic. The receptionist is horrible as well.

Doc is great takes time to explain front staff friendly but it's not a walk-in if you do walk in you get punished with a long wait time they rather be appointment times

Love my family doctor here but trying to get ahold of the clinic through the phone is next to impossible. There has been some days I've called 30 times through the entire time they're open just for no one to pick up the phone. Makes it next to impossible to reschedule my appointment and then when I do get ahold of the receptionist they sigh because I'm rescheduling the same day as my appointment because no one picks up the phone throughout the day. Thinking about possible moving clinics again.because honestly this is ridiculous.

Went in at 3: 15 Thursday afternoon, receptionist looked at me and said what do I need, I replied to see a doctor, she said well I will make you an appointment for tomorrow, I said well I am from out of town so that doesn’t work. Then I was asked if I had been there before which I had a long time ago, she lets out a big sigh and asks why I need to see a doctor? I said I needed my ear flushed she then said it will take too long. What kind of reception acts and talks to a patient that way, I will never go back she needs some serious training on being appropriate especially while being in a administrative seat.

I was apprehensive to stop here after reading reviews but was pleasantly surprised. The receptionists were warm and friendly. I only had to wait 10 minutes max before seeing the doctor. Doctor Kester is fantastic; he listened thoughtfully to my concerns, took the time to explain my diagnosis, and explained how and why the medication he prescribed will help me. I wish more doctors were like him. I would definitely recommend this clinic to others.

We bring our daughter to this clinic Tuesday around 530pm. I know the receptionist is not in a good mood. I can say through her action and the way she answer phone calls. She even commented on people trying to get in but the door inside walmart was close. She said i cant believe people. And she put the closed sign. Well in the first place she should have put the sign closed used outside door or whatever, so people can see. Because we did the same. Fforward. Its our turn. So she said she needs to take my daughter's weight, i immediately told her she got poop (its her 4th) i told her my husband is buying diaper since we have used all we got. So i thought we have to undress my child that is why iam telling her. And she said (not exact words but means to me like) what is the connection of that with her taking my child's weight. I didnt like how she said it. I told her I know its been a long day and she reply its not a long day its because there are patients thats hard to deal with. And just to my surprise upon doctor gave us the prescription it was my husband's name on the patient name. Like really? We told her on our way out and she ask im confused. She ask my husband did you gave me your id upon checking in? My husband reply of course.
She ask for it including my daughter's health card. My first time. Dont know if im coming back again. The doctor is just fine.

Entered the clinic at 2 PM with a bleeding wound that needed stitches. Despite being open until 4 PM and having no one in the waiting room, I was told that the Doctor wasnt taking any more patients for the day. Put closed at 2 PM on your door and website if you don't plan to see patients.

Waited 2 hours for an appointment. Still didnt get in even after letting walk ins go before me. I walked out.

Staff & Doctor were friendly & helpful. Fast efficient service since I couldn’t get a quick appointment with my family doctor. In & out in less than 45 min.

Really liked the doctor I was seeing at this clinic, however, I think I'll be finding a new place to go due to the receptionist. Never have I ever met a receptionist as rude as her! Rolls her eyes, acts as if everyone coming in is the biggest waste of her time and loudly talks to the other receptionist about scheduling drama and any other drama going on her life. EXTREMELY unprofessional, it actually baffled me. This girl is ruining your clinic's reputation.

Clinic opened up at 10am. There was no receptionist. The poor doctor had to sign in all the people. He took 50 mins to sign in everyone. I felt so bad for him. He couldn’t start seeing people because he was doing the receptionists job who didn’t show up. She finally showed up at 11am. They are slow it took me over 2.5 hrs to be seen to get an antibiotic prescription. I would stay away from there. Poor service!

I came in after having been hit in the shoulder. The doctor refused to look at my shoulder and instead he lectured me on drug seeking. I have never asked for drugs and I usually refuse painkillers when prescribed. I have never been treated so badly. I left the office in tears and went to another clinic who did an X-ray and ultrasound. Turns out I have severe arthritis in my shoulder and significant tendon damage. Now I am being treated by an excellent specialist at the Glen Sather clinic.

Don’t go here.

I have visited this location several times now because I really like Dr Kestner. He is efficient, honest and listens to his patience concerns. However, each and every time I come in Sundeep the front receptionist is rude, short with patients, and loves to speak loudly about how horrible scheduling is and how management can't do their job and speaks negatively of coworkers whenever they aren't in ear shot. Today was the final straw. I arrived for a scheduled follow up and the test we were waiting on had not arrived so the Dr asked Sundeep to call and ask when it would arrive. She rolled her eyes while he was asking her to do so and when he walked away to help another patient. She had major attitude with me. Because it wasn't a "rushed" report so what exactly did I want.excuse me? I want you to do your job without attitude for no reason. I want you to discuss work problems with coworkers out of earshot of patients waiting. Dr. Adebayo as the owner of this clinic maybe you should start taking these reviews more seriously. Clearly your ratings reflect how people are being treated.

The reception staff and nurses are very friendly. I was experiencing an emergency and required to get a prescription ASAP before flying out of province. I was in a panic because it was a Sunday and my other doctors office was closed on the weekends. The doctor I saw was very understanding and knowledgeable. Instead of just getting my prescription I also learned a lot more about how to treat my health condition. Long story short, I was so impressed I ended up walking out of Emerald Medical Clinic with a new Family Doctor who I have been seeing for over 9 months now. Couldn't be happier with the ongoing treatment I have received. Highly Recommend!

Receptionist is rude and was even bossing the doctor around.
The doc that we got was very unprofessional and wrong in his diagnoses (we obtained a second opinion). But what was the worst was that twice during our appt another doc came in an interrupted. He opened the door and just starting talking to the doc whom i was in the middle of speaking too. He talked about another patient infront of me.he wanted the doc i was dealing with to sign off on forms to say his patients symptoms were caused by stress.i heard all about this other patient while the 2 docs discussed him infront of me.

We were told it would be a 10 min wait.we sat in the little room for 30 min waiting. Not an easy task with sick little kids. I will never go here again.
