Walker Lake Family Clinic

The single worst healthcare facility I’ve visited. The doctor won’t see my 20 month old because I refuse to perform a Covid test on her. We’re vaccinated. Get over it and find a new profession if you’re not willing to deal with “sick” patients. Absolute disgrace. Dr Gabriel used to be our family doctor but this was the final nail in the coffin. He’s asked me in the past “ what do you want me to do, ” when I presented with a medical issue. You best believe I’m reporting him.

I have gone to this clinic a few times, what you see on the other reviews are true. The front staff can be a little condescending and rude. But I will say it has gotten slightly better. I have only seen 2 doctor from here. Dr. Uriworth and Dr. Falyade. Both have made it seem like it was an inconvenience for me to be there, both very unpleasant to work with. You almost have to self diagnose and they will just give you meds and send you off. No sense of empathy. I would suggest trying to find a different clinic.

Front dest was pretty rude.problem is docs staff think no one else works except them.she refused to take us one hour before closing I was there even before 4
my daughter was really sick n thought its close to my house so will be helpful but the front desk kept arguing why didn't I came early would never recommend

Very bad service. My son sprained his leg and his leg was swollen. But they couldn't help him. If you need help, stay away from this place, no one will help you here.

I debated on writing this review because I know nothing will be done to rectify this issue and secondly I really wanted to take time to calm down.

If you can avoid coming to this clinic please do so. I really wanted to use this clinic for my family since it's a few blocks from my house. I had initially be warned about this clinic and doctors but I honestly tried giving them a chance. My mum who is a visitor and a visitor and paying patient came to this clinic. After some x-rays and blood tests, she was referred to do some pain management injections. I had come in and we paid for the visit to see Dr Gabriel so that he could give us a requisitions. While writing this requisition I expressed to the Dr that it needed to specify what type of injection and to make it a standing order and he brushed me off saying it was okay even though on the requisition it states to indicate the type of injection. After booking an appointment for mum at diagnostic clinic, the day of appointment they could not accept the requisition. They said Dr didn't indicate what injection to be done. My mum was in so much pain and got turned away. I asked for the Dr to fix it but I was told I needed to come in clinic for this to happen. The day of them fixing the requisition it only took less than 5mins to do so and I left. They called me saying I need to pay for the visit. I asked them how I am being made to pay for an error they were supposed to fix and they told me it took Dr's appointment time to write me another requisition. I told them that wasn't fair and I shouldn't be made to pay and they threatened me saying if I didn't pay, Dr Gabriel will never see us again and drop us as patients. So I went back to the clinic to try and talk to Dr Gabriel directly. They made me sit for 45mins only to tell me he won't talk to me. This is how they treat patients. Very unethical, not empathetic and creating a money grabbing scheme. Also extremely manipulative. Take your healthcare concerns elsewhere

Dr Yakunchikov who I've been working with for a couple years now has moved to this location. I'd have to say it's way cleaner and more comfortable to be in then his last location. He is doing his best to work with me and hasn't given up on me yet so that's a good thing. I really like his assistant as well, Niveen and I have only dealt with this staff so I can not comment on the rest.

I have one small complaint and that's that they do not get their paper work done for their patients. I gave them my paper work more than a month ago and I need it treated seriously. I am a single parent who is relying on a doctors note for my future outcome.

Otherwise overall good Dr and worth waiting for.

Very very rude staff.even u ask normal questions. I won't recommend this clinic just because of there female staff

My Doctor now operates out of this clinic. The staff are helpful and friendly. I appreciate Dr Yakuchnikov immensely. Over the years he has helped me manage my neck/back pain.

I did walk-in consultation Nov 23,2022 in this family clinic for the first time because my dry cough and asthma is getting worst and worst. After my consultation I went to the pharmacy to give my prescription. While waiting for my medicine my asthma triggers, I can’t breathe, I almost collapsed, I call the attention of one of their staff to help me, she was taking customer phone call at that moment but she didn’t hesitate to come and help me, she gave me first aid and help me recover. I feel like I am dying that very moment because totally I can’t breathe. Her name was “Poorvi” I thank her so much for saving my life and I thank God for giving me another life. I can’t repay your goodness Poorvi, all I can do is to thank you and asked our almighty creator to bless you more. Thank you Walker Lake Family Clinic for having a life saver staff named Poorvi.

I am not a review person! But would like say something for this clinic staff, they are just like you see in their responses for reviews! For any bad review they don’t even bother to respond! That is exactly how they are- they don’t bother at all about any thing! They would book your appointment and will easily blame on you for not remembering correct dates, I show up and there was no doctor. One thing I don’t understand is, how they book me in for 6: 30 appointment when their clinic closes at 6pm and they lock their doors by 6pm?
Anyway, I know typing this review is a complete waste of my time! But hey! I would have appreciated a call from you, if your doctor was leaving early for the day and could not see me that day!

We have been seeing Dr Gabriel for a few months now & has always been so kind & patient when listening. My husband with his heart issue has always been thoroughly checked & sent for tests. He has been good with prescriptions when asked & last minute appointments, he is a good doctor.he's doing the best he can to those that degrate him, maybe look at your own back yard. Government also is not helping them

No point of booking an appointment because every time I wait a lot and doctor never explain any thing not happy with the service

My wonderful family Dr retired. It took 4 months to find a new dr. This clinic has horrible wait times. With appt you sit in waiting room for 1 hour for a simple rx refill

There isn’t any difference between appointments and walk ins.
Always waiting minimum 45 minutes to 1 hrs even with appointment.

My doctor is great.deeply cares about my diabetes and offers excellent advice and is very supportive. Provides all the cutting edge meds and advice. Rarely late for my book appointments and very friendly staff. Thank you Dr. Gabriel.

Seriously? I've tried calling multiple times in the past 2 hours and either the line was busy or they've picked up and hung up. Unprofessional.

Dr. Gabriel Uyirwoth is a good person, good listener, and a good family doctor. He does not rush you out of his office and he make sure that he takes diligent care of you.
I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

How do you get ahold of them? I’ve emailed, I’ve booked online, I’ve called! Voicemail box is full! I just want an appointment! How can I go here when you can’t get ahold of anyone?

I love this office. Very friendly. Doc Gabriel is very kind, good listener meets your medical needs. I walked in and was put in the room to meet my new Doctor Gabriel. I can see I will be there for a long time. The front staff are also amazingly kind and friendly

Great Clinic clean and quick didn't have to wait hours to get into my doctor's appointment very pleased with the clinic and my doctor is awesome always a pleasure despise the reason of visiting lol

I went here today and had an absolutely amazing experience. They are welcoming and so so kind. I’m quite taken aback, to be honest.

Dr. Gabriel is good, he listens to his patients properly and carefully. Always try to give good care.

Dr. Gabriel listens and is very compassionate. Also Dr. Jerudi has been my saviour and does everything he can to get you on the right track.

My experience was pretty good. And pharmacist MADONA is really a great helper with such a kind heart. She helped me alot in a issue. Loved to meet her!

Customer service is really bad when ever I trying to call they put me on hold and waiting too long for no reason it's happened with me three times I thought it to bg but when I reached there was no line up and there is 2 staff members in stay behind the counter or nothing doing.

Great new place and am happy to be back with my Pain Specialist again. Have been referred to 2 other doctors there and had a great experience so far with one of them. Have another appt.with another doctor and I am sure things will go well. Long way for me to travel, but if you're getting proper, knowledgeable, and caring help, it is worth the travel! Highly recommended if seeking professional, quality care.

So glad this clinic opened up in Walker. The staff are fantastic and you seldom have to wait longer than 5-10 minutes to be seen. Both Doctor Uyirwroth and Doctor Jerudi are excellent physicians and I am grateful for the care I have received so far at Walker Family Clinic.
