Went to this pharmacy with an infection, waited in line and were told to "go somewhere else" because they were closing in 15 mins and could not do a quick assessment. I asked if they needed to test me for something and they said no. Not a single word of apology and no further explanation why they could not do a quick assessment. Basically just rude and unprofessional.

The pharmacy staff here are unprofessional and rude. I had to have my doctor repeatedly send in my prescription here and the pharmacy tech argued they never received it or "just" received it when it had been re-sent an hour earlier. He also had the nerve to ask me my name 3 times, spell it 3 times and then because he kept talking over me, accused me of not being able to spell my own name! I ended up having deerfoot meadows pharmacy call and get my prescription from this pharmacy. Deerfoot meadows pharmacy staff is much more knowledgeable and professional.
In addition to this, this walmart is close to the train station so they have a lot of intoxicated or homeless people that loiter at the entrance. When I told the pharmacy tech that there was a man that appeared unresponsive while doubled over a shopping cart just outside the front entrance, he simply shrugged his shoulders. So clearly i had to spell it out for him and asked that someone check on him (i was heavily pregnant with a toddler in tow, so i didn't feel safe approaching this man), and he said, "we'll ask customer service". Yet when i left the store 10 minutes later, still no staff were checking on this poor man, who hadn't moved an inch. How disgraceful that this pharmacy tech would consider himself a health care professional.
