This is the worst walmart. They only keep 3-4 self checkout open so that people stand in line for 30mins. Staff told me management doesn't want to open more self checkout because of LABOUR COST! I dont go there anymore, canadian superstore is wayy better.
Saw the lineup to pay at self checkout and walked out. Open more pay stations and hire more people! Walmart used to be our go to, will start avoiding it now especially that there’s always a long lineup and staff is generally not helpful.
I went in to ask about the availability of certain video games and consoles and the female staff member in electronics was extremely rude and short with me. She was on her phone in the electronics section and I stood there for a few minutes before she even looked up. She just told me everything I asked about was out of stock if it wasn't in the display cabinet or in the one shelf behind the counter and didn't bother to check the back. The only redeeming experience was the lovely female staff member in the Christmas section that helped me get a box of ornaments from the top shelf.
Even going out if my way to be polite, cashier broke an item, continued pressing me to apply for their credit card, and seemed offended I brought bags to pack my own things.
Variety of items at least. But support elsewhere if you can. If only the pet store was not out of my cats food.
If you shop at Walmart and go thru self check out, you'll have a standard shopping experience but the moment you need to interact with the staff, that's when you run back home and thank the universe for having Amazon Prime. You can always sense the bitterness tge staff have as if they are doing time in a forced labour camp and because they hate their life, they must make you hate yours as well. A simple trip to the customer service counter for a product return was faced with unexplainable hostility, rudeness and no professionalism at all, but silly me, what do I expect when I go to Walmart. Thinking that the manager might help, they called the assistant manager who is so bizarre that she stood 10 ft away from me and she will only convey her messages to me thru one of the staff members as if I had leprosy, I asked her why isn't she talking directly to me? Then she mumbles something to one of the employees who tells me they cannot help. Lesson learned, never to step foot in that atrocious place.
So I just want to shout out to niaina, Harjot and Melissa who work at this location I called almost every walmart in calgary today and everyone told us this item doesn't exist anymore or don't sell anymore Hung up on us and simply didn't even try told us our only option was online but these 3 people found the easy bake oven and now will make my Littles girls xmas one of the best ones I truly thank you 3 you took the time to actually look around find the item and call me back super polite people and they did there job! I highly recommend this walmart and they seem to be stocked better then most walmarts
Photo center personal refused to do passport pictures saying they stopped doing it, other Wal-Mart do them and it is advertised online, Fells like attendant didn't know what is going on in his department.
Yes. 2 star because of experience while shopping electornic. Time: 26th Nov 21 around 9 PM. There were 2 person at the counter, both attending the same customer and the customer was busy making looking at phones, thinking whether to buy or not keeping rest of the customers on hold. I was in line to buy already decided item. Need some training and process to be defined here. Big NO to buy any electronics from this shop
Big zero customer service.they dnt even smile and say hello until you say OK for Walmart credit card.dnt help in any way.rude staff.don't have choice to go somewhere else Walmart is good store no doubt but this one needs some refresh training for staff. Mr.manager of the store needs to visit more to check on employees
That guy who works at the curbside pick up ANDY is the best! Quick, knows what he's doing and always a smile on his face (I can tell even with mask on). Keep it up ANDY!
An absolute catastrophe! The store is always out of stock. I don’t think we’ve ever placed an order for curbside pick up and received everything we ordered. They’re never on time with a curbside pick up. Poorly managed store.
They are very pushy with their credit card. Every time I shop here, at least 2 people ask me to sign up and they get all weird once you tell them you're not interested in another credit card. Also the door greeters dont even greet you, they just stare you down
Walmart is a wonderful mall to do the shopping of household items. The rates are lowest compare to the other stores in Calgary plus quality is good. Staff are cordial and always ready to help the clients. The location is also easily accessable by transit.
Countless times I have seen this store & it's PATHETIC management let people roam & shop without wearing any masks. I wish I could give them ZERO stars.
You would think a big box store that makes billions in profit would hire a couple security personnel to stop anti maskers putting everyone else at the store at risk.but obviously they are greedy for every last penny that they can make.
I always find what I need. Today I need some bed sheets and got great help from Ansa. She was very attentive and helped me all way through it. Excellent customer services and a very humble personality.
This place is not organised well, the produce does not have bags, have only few variety of vegetables and fruits. The dairy and grocery section, the products are not faced, sometimes you will notice empty box and racks, but when you under the products are lying somewhere bottom which will be inaccessible to customers. Cash counters are the worse, especially the self check out lanes are crazy on weekends or weekdays, since only 4-6 self check out registers work. The staff are polite and friendly, but they are trained well.
Be careful with this store. Check your bill before you leave the store; otherwise, you may have to drive all the way back for just a few dollar error on the bill. Gasoline may cost you more than that! What this store charges you may not be the same as what they show on shelves or on flyers. I have made a few complaints to their customer service as well as on their online survey. Nothing has changed. And this time, I got over charged by their pharmacy department too. Ridiculous.
We are waiting here at wireless section for the last 25 minutes and no one is showing up i have a ask like 6 employee to help us and they said they cant as thats not their section
Very bad customer service. The duty manager at 5pm on 2nd July 2021 behaved very unprofessional and pathetic. She refused to return the item which was promised by one of the same store's CSR in written that the store can return the item (pic attached). Not only she (the store manager) refused but also didn't complete the conversation with me and walked away. At the end they offered me $20 for my 3 hours of waiting. All the staff was very disrespectful and nonprofessional. The called security upon me eventually after listening my version of the full story even the security admitted manager's and staff's mistakes. Now the LS has advised me to launch a complaint against the store and the manager. I will launch a complaint against the store staff and the duty manager.
Walmart master card is a fraud, just eating money. They strongly suggested a balance protection and warranty insurance. Saying no charges if all balance paid. But they sneakily charged those fee. Bye cheater walmart master card. Everyone should be careful, not to use their extra service.
Very large store with almost everything you need as one stop shop. Prices are reasonable and and not very crowded most of the time. They got huge selection of fruits and vegetables as well as other foods and drinks. I found staff helpful in most cases. I didn't have any bad experience based on more than two period.
One day, I was looking for one cosmetic item and I called Walmart- sage Hill many times, the attender transferred me several times but it did not go through, to cosmetic section. Finally I thought to visit store, but fortunately I tried last time and one of the sales worker- Zalak helped me on phone, she checked the product availability and called me back. I am so thankful to her, such a nice costumer service.
Went here to exchange a gift that is given by my friend, they refuse to exchange it bec it was purchase at different walmart location, and went to another location nearby and they exchange it instantly. Clearly the COSTUMER SERVICE CREW in this particular location DOESN'T KNOW what they are doing.
