I will NEVER order from Walmart Grocery for delivery again period. Here's why, I need to get Groceries for my mom who lives in a house in Edmonton near a Walmart, yesterday I ordered in the afternoon from Walmart for a 7: 00pm delivery (I live outside of town in the country). My mom has dementia and I couldn't do it for a few days so I though this would be a good solution, NOPE.after no order delivered and several attempts to find out why they said in the morning the next day, the next morning no call back, so I start calling again and they can't find the order or the store it was to come from now and have to go thru a refund process. DO NOT ORDER WALMART GROCERY DELIVERY! Surely other stores can do better.

I confirmed with customer service before I leave from home to exchange water cans
When arrived 20 minutes drive and waited for 30 minutes
They said they don’t have any employee free to grab from storage.
It was good lesson first next time avoid to waste time here.

Do Not order delivery. My door dash delivery guy, who Walmart uses and doesn't tell you it's a second party, stole 8 items from my Christmas order. I have been on the phone with customer service from both door dash and Wal-Mart for an hour and a half trying to deal with this issue. Walmart at South Common has the worst customer service. They put me on hold twice for 30 minutes and I finally hung up because no one had any intention of helping me.

Why walmart hire all mannerless people? They should have minimum training for customer service!

Wish I could give 0 stars. This is the worst Walmart I’ve been to. My boyfriend and I visited yesterday (September 13th around 3pm) in search of a nail trimming and care kit. 4 employees later, we finally find the damn kit. The first woman (a shorter asian woman who was working with some boxes next to the pharmacy) was the first employee we’d seen so we asked her for help locating nail clippers. She literally shooed us away and didn’t once look up from her phone. I was livid, luckily my boyfriend calmed me down or I’d have lost my mind. 2 more employees told us to look in 2 different areas entirely. Finally, the woman working near cosmetics was able to help us, though she just pointed us around the corner and didn’t actually ‘help’ per say. Either way, what a disaster. 30 minutes of searching for ONE item.

Please do not consider that 1 star.

Pathetic experience I had last night at south common location. Self check out lane BROWN lady (I have her name but don't want to drag her in this) totally declined the price adjustment in a RUDE PATHETIC way. I did ask her see if she can help me out and her attitude was at another level because she had to walk to confirm the price. SEAT AT HOME you don't like to work.

I work in retail too. We never offer these type of exeperience to our clients. You guys need to change the structure.

Shopped at this store on August 14,2023. I was at the self check-out scanning my groceries when one of my items came up as: Code not found
It was for a jar of salsa so I called over to one of the self check-out associates, Rosabella, and told her about the problem. She tried to scan it as well and the scanner came up with the same error.
Then she turned to me and asked: "Do you still want this or do you not want it?
Of course I want it! I told her that was a stupid question to ask me just because the system did not have the barcode. What she should have said was: "Let me get someone to find the price and code for you. " Customer Service = 0

I am writing this review a year late- I firmly apologize for not giving this fantastic employee all the credit he deserved back in April 2022. When I entered this Walmart with my 2 small children- I was feeling overwhelmed & exhausted by my personal life. I was immediately greeted with the warmest smile and “Hello” from an employee named Devon. I asked him the direction of the electronics he walked myself & my chaotic cart over to the department. He smiled repeatedly & treated me with such kindness. He aided with my search of a Nintendo switch & when my son started crying in the cart he smile real big at him and told us to have a good day. Please don’t underestimate the kindness of your employees especially ones like Devon. Please give this employee praise as I still remember this interaction a year later.

I have a very bad experience at self-checkout. I don't know the associate name she was very rude to us.

Went to Walmart Superstore, Parsons road. When I was in need of help, Miss TUVYA (Walmart Associate) came forward to help me up with my queries.

She is such a nice girl as she was so amiable, charming and assisted me with patience.

From my perspective, I would recommend this location for customers as Miss TUVYA is there to assist you guys.

I shop at Walmart a lot. But I tend to avoid the South common store. I went there today because I was told that they had stock on an item I was looking for. When I got there it was pretty busy being that it's the Christmas season. I searched the aisles and could not find the item. There were no employees around So I went to the front of the store where there was a clerk watching the front end with a yellow jacket that said something like happy to help. As I began to describe what I was looking for she cut me off and said if I don't see it, it's not here and turned around and kept working at her station in front of the clothing. I understand things are busy and hectic, and I know she probably gets a 1000 questions a-day. But when you get to the point where you can't even let a customer ask a question chiston and respond by cutting them off with a generic answer, maybe it's time to go on a break or take a few days off. I'm being generous with my star count because I know that I will always shop at Walmart. Though I probably won't shop at that particular Walmart anymore.

It's actually one of the largest Walmart and it was nice seeing variety of multiple things and was super fun even just roaming inside

Really liked the rec room lots in that area I got new shoes at a great price and saw a movie parking is very good would recommend.

The Walmart Supercenter at South Edmonton Common is a one stop shop with the best prices in town. The grocery section is massive with all the brand name products found everywhere else but at a cheaper price. If you are going to spend a few hundred dollars this is the place to do it. I was surprised to see that COVID-19 screening is offered by appointment for $19.97. If you are unvaccinated and want to go out on the town stop here and get your papers. The actual square footage of this place is insane. The walk from the frozen food section to the oil change shop across the building took at least a full minute. Groceries, pharmaceutical, cosmetics & jewelry, toys, electronics, clothing, houseware, stationary, books, automotive and sporting goods are within arm’s reach. McDonalds, Photos Unlimited Portrait Studios, Mr. Lube + Tires, Regal Nails Salon & Spa, Smart Style Hair Salon, Vision Center and Western Union are conveniently staggered at the front and exit areas. It was quite busy when I went but the place is so large and there were so many cashier lanes that it didn’t take nearly as much time as I thought it would to bag and pay. I saved at least $200 shopping here as opposed to my local grocery store and saved time too. Store was clean, tidy with shelves well stocked. Great experience today.

I did not have a terrible experience at this Walmart so there's not much I can say in the contrary of how Walmart is!

I hate going into a store and the layout does not make sense. You spend more time walking around than shopping, oh then there's the price differences from the shelf to the register. ‍️

It was snowing an issue am one of the handful customers. An associate was nice today help me find jello powder. It was in an out. Very clean an professional

Massive parking lot with plenty of parking stalls.
This Walmart location is extremely large to accommodate all of the products one could ever need, ranging from clothes and jewelry to fruits and vegetables or cleaning supplies.

Pharmacy is very much UNDERSTAFFED. WAITED 45 MIN FOR MY SCHEDULED COVITE test. Only 2 people working at noon is just not enough to fill prescription Covit test Vaccine and drop off your prescription.

They have very friendly and helpful staff. They layout makes it easy to find what you are looking for.

Totally waste customer service department and online pickup department.
My wife called and confirmed that product can be put on a side for pu at customer service, associate confirmed that its gonna be on a side on your husband's name.
When i reached there to pick up at customer service hoping its gonna be ready but guess what no one knows anything about my product.
I have been advised to call on particular number, upon called guy try to find about product and guess what he said someone called but who was the guy on thw call who put on hold he don't know, he doesn't even know that this simple kids toy product i was there to buy where it can be.
I think wallmart has to maintain his standards.
There has to be a customer service manager available to see customers and try to help them.
Very disappointed.

Perfect place to check out for home, grocery items and dresses as well. Affordable for common man.

It's Walmart. Big store and good price. Staff work hard and take masking seriously and it is fantastic. This store opens late till 11 pm.

Absolutely ridiculous check out experience! Cashier calls me to his till. Then goes to the next till to help another cashier cause the CSM wasn’t paying attention. Then when I told him I had the stuff in my cart as well as the belt he looked at me like I was crazy. Pushed for donations but didn’t tell me my total or ask if it was cash or card. This is why I’m going to stick with self check out. Your staff has no clue what to do.
I’d work here myself but I already did that once and I know how you already treat them. So they then take it out on the customers.

Shelves aren’t often well stocked and items aren’t priced correctly. Often has long lineups for the cashier.

I asked an employee if I purchased this on clearance and it's missing something can i return it her response was "no you would have to call manufacturer they can send you the part you're missing. " It wasn't a cheap purchase, doesn't say final clearance anywhere on it and why sell something you're unsure of they should be checking things before putting it back on their shelves. I can tell it was used and sure enough it was missing an important part. Will never shop here. I will go back to my fave location thank you very much.

This is big store at this location. And it's open until 11 pm.that's very convenient. There is a good variety for everything so I like to come to this location

I would like to rate 0 (zero) to this Walmart. I went to this store with my wife to buy some stuffs for our family. We chose a comforter set and just open a little to check how comfort that is! I guess one assistant manager saw that and thought we are thief putting stuffs inside the comforter set. Really! This is an assistant manager! Then he followed us all the way everywhere throughout the Walmart. This is not the end! He told other associates and they were staring at us every single time such that we are a thief! Then finally in the self checkout one associate started searching like we are real thief! But found nothing as obvious. Ohh my God! Then that assistant manager came and was not ready to be apologized. After going out from this specific store I felt like why I went to this store! I have never been that much humiliated in my entire life! Me and my wife got huge shocked mentally that we couldn’t talk each other for long hours…. We will never go in this store…

Their automotive don’t answer the call, I called them 10 times on different times and days but they are highly unresponsive!

Great and helping staff. We locked our keys in car and Staff name "Qasim" was on his break. Gave ride to home to bring another key. This is the kind and humanity act we need during this time. I appreciate his help and would really like to embrace such acts. Thank you.

Ordered online and went to pick up. Very disorganized they don't have any signs marking where they would like you to park for online pickup. I called the store since no number to call when there. Could barely make out what the person was telling me. Talking to fast. I parked in the firelane in front of store as directed. Total time 10 minutes. When I got home I had 2 items that needed to be returned. One pepperoni was brown and rotten because bag had a hole in it, the bagels had a hole as well. Wasted more time making a second trip there. Had to go in to store to get replacements. Usually, I shop at another Walmart store and have had no problems with their products. Park in the designated parking call the number on their signs, and they usually bring my stuff out in 3 minutes or less. But today I shopped at Parsons Walmart because they didn't have all my items at my usual store. I really do not like shopping at Parsons Wal-Mart. Last resort.

I was looking for a bike myself and was checking for the availabilities. I phoned customer service and asked for them to check. Gave them the code they needed to check and all. They said they would check and left me on a 15 minute hold. Call got cut. Okay, maybe it was just a connection error.

I called back and told the call representative the line got cut. The lady apologized and said she would transfer me to the seasonal department.
I waited for a solid 25 minutes when someone picked up. He said he was looking for oil or something and wanted to talk to customer service. I told him I was literally a customer waiting for someone at seasonal to help.

He might not have understood and kept asking for oil as if I worked there. I then clarified that my call was transferred from customer service themselves to this department. He laughed, said ‘nono’ and hung up the phone.

Maybe it’s because I don’t have my glasses on but I can’t see what was funny about that situation?
Either he worked there and didn’t have any shred of decency to do his job correctly, or he was a customer who thought it was funny messing around with other customers.
Is it that hard to run your business properly? I’m sure my foot could manage this store better. No wonder people shop else where

Please close photo centre permanently if you guys are not professionally ready and don’t have a good lighting.

This guy named Jaldeep Patel working in the Electronics department of walmart is very helpful. He provided me the best deal on the purchase of IPhone 12pro max. Very friendly and professIonal.

Perfect grocery store. Vegetables are always fresh. I love their bakery products too. Never waited for long checkout as all counters are open.

So today, myself and my brother go in today, and we're like regulars here. We went in no problem, but when leaving "security" wants to check our backpacks, that "he" himself saw us clearly walk in with, and then he tries taking them, and I'm disabled, so I explain, and he gave them back, with no sorry whatsoever, don't matter though, forgiveness ain't in my vocabulary. We don't drive either, we take the ETS, so good job on your parts. I was gonna let it go, but I had to get if off my chest.

First time shopping online for groceries at this location.and it was a bad experience. I never got the email pick up confirmation and when I went to check the order status, it never updated to ready for pick up. Pick up time was between 9 and 10 am. Even though it was ready at that time. I only found out at 10 30 am by calling and waiting on hold for 10 minutes. I wouldn't trust shopping online here anymore since the process didn't went smooth. The only answer I got it was that it was a system glitch.and after I still never got an email confirmation about my order being ready.they promised it wont happen again.but didn't explained the solution to the issue so pretty sure this will happen again.

Grocery become bad we by today strawberry the face is perfect but the inner is so damaged
Also the croissant taste horrible and not fresh even the date is not due, they might change the dates without the product

Every time I go here I either leave empty handed cause they don’t have basic stuff, or I’m harassed by the most ignorant staff trying to leave with products I’ve paid for. Went for sliced watermelon. All they had was whole watermelon for 9$. Went to save-on. They had whole watermelons for 6$ and I bought a quarter sliced for 1.45 lb.exactly what I wasted my time going to your store for.

They Need To Have More Riding Carts for People with Disabilities. I Can't Walk The Length and Width of The Store. When I Went There They only had 1 cart that was working. I Would Have Had To Wait Up To 30 Minutes or More for the Cart. That Is Ridiculous.

I love Walmart. But i do not like to waste time on putting coin in the trolley and i do not know why walmart keep changing location of the things. It took me months to learn where the things are so it's again time waste.

This place is a mess. Came to look at child seats. Fewer than a quarter of displayed items have prices, some are missing pieces, and the shelf contains random boxes that don't match up with the display. Is there anyone who manages this place? Take a look at my picture to see I'm not kidding.

I like going to Walmart in the bigger cities because they usually have items I can't find in my piddly local Walmart.

This walmart features both a tim hortons and a mc donoalds. Also there is a larger selection of fabrica than most. But the garden sectionis slim.

I wanted to buy a Wired Pro Controller for the Nintendo Switch here. Just so happens that the case with it inside was broken. It had a broken lock. Why would you not place anything around it to say that it was broken? It really ruined my day. Whoever manages the games department must be fired. Fix that damn door.

Walmart is awesome! You can get practically everything you need and want while you're out at Walmart, the surprising thing is the prices, I'd say, if you gotta get your shopping done, theres no better place than Walmart, rein it in folks, you're pretty much stealing, the prices are so low. Let's Go Shopping!

Nice store. Well laid out like most Walmart’s are. Large parking lot but don’t plan on staying overnight in your RV. Although I had phoned ahead and asked permission to park which was granted, in the morning Walmart security came around and gave us two hours to vacate the premises. They were very gracious but firm in their approach. I was impressed by their professionalism but saddened that another good spot to stay is no longer available. If you need a place to park overnight, this not the place.

This was the 3rd wall Mart we visited today we were looking to buy a TV. The north gate wall Mart had 0 service capilanno did not even have pricing or service. So south Edmonton had pricing and service and was able to buy a TV

I would not even give this location a 1 star. The staff are always so negative and not helpful. They charge a dollar for their carts and when you go in to get change none of them can open their tills to get you change you have to stand in line up at customer service where half the time there is only one person working there a ton of people in line! I boycott this Walmart unless I absolutely need to go there. Worst location!

A little messy, but again it's Walmart and chances are your going for what you need- not really a window shop sort of stop.

Near to my home, I shop here for groceries and small electrical items. Its a super centre with ever fresh vegetables. Their staff are ever vigilant to pick up items which looks stale, and replace them with fresh ones.

I found pricing are different from other walmart; some product are costly in this walmart, I will suggest compare two walmart pricing before buying

I went to the Tim Hortons. There was no hash brown in my farmers wrap, barely to no little sauce. The hash brown I ordered on the side was hard, stale, just a mess. Everyone looked angerly, unorganized very unperfessional. My wrap was also not folded correct and half was just hanging out. Very bad service. 3-4 people where working yet service was bad, employees where very slow, and food was not served to Tim Hortons standard or any standard of food. You are better off going to a gasstation Tim Hortons.

Filthy, disorganized, unstocked store. Felt like I was no longer in a first world country in there.
I've lived around this one for years and it's getting worse and worse.

Also don't EVER call to ask a question. I one time spent over 5 days calling several times a day to ask a question (while my car was in the shop and I had no way to get there to just see for myself) and it was a futile exercise. IF anyone ever answered they wouldn't even hear my full question, they'd just talk over me and transfer me to some department where no one would pick up the phone.
Also the language barrier on the phone was awful, she had no idea what I was saying and I had no idea what she was saying. This would often cause her to just downright hang up, after I'd waited on hold for 10 minutes or more. Maybe there should be someone on the phones who has more experience with the language.

Disorganized, One till open on a Friday didn't have a dollar to get the carts so they had me buy a stupid coin which didn't end up working anyways. Store was filthy and couldn't find what I was looking for.

If you have to go here, DON’T! Pay per use carts broken, front entrance door wouldn’t open, took over a half hour to track down somebody who actually knew where a product was kept, person on duty in the garden center was MIA, cashier took almost 20 minutes (I was so frustrated I timed it) to check out 2 people in front of me, and to top it all off, one of the items scanned for $15.00 more than what it was posted for on sale. This is by far the worst Walmart store I have EVER seen. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
