Absolutely foul oder throughout the store. Expired items on shelves. Minimal self checkout tills open. Better off shopping at Superstore across the street!

Charging $0.70 for bags as a trillion dollar company is pretty pathetic especially with the prices of everything

Everything in this place is good, but I think the attitude of the staff in the pharmacy should be improved. If a customer makes a mistake, please remind them in a friendly manner rather than in an accusatory and arrogant tone.

Whenever I spend more than 100$ there The freaking employees there always trying to get me sign up for some Walmart credit card whenever I'm there. I keep saying SORRY NOT INTERESTED everytime and they still won't leave me alone trying to convince me, I personally find it very disrespectful and rude. Shame on them. Only reason I have 2 stars because it's still walmart otherwise 1 star

WALMART like those that came before, k-mart, Woodworth, Zellers and others.but bigger and with everything you can think of.

Afshana one of the Managers here is awesome, she always greets me when I am in the store and is always friendly and Polite. On this visit I just needed battery's for my remote starter clicker and had forgotten to check what batteries I needed I did not have a screwdriver and did not want to buy yet another precision screwdriver kit as I have so many already. She had the package opened for me and let me use the screwdriver to find my batteries. Super helpful she went above and beyond and it was greatly appreciated.

What a gong show! Stressful shopping experience! Staff are clueless. Produce and meat departments should be shut down for lack of quality and freshness!
Do yourself a favor and buy fresh food at Safeway and spare yourself the anxiety of shopping at a giant dirty pit with dirty food and with horrible staff and customer service. The extra few dollars you will spend at a decent supermarket are well worth it.

This is the rudest I've ever been treated. I have never had a problem with returns. Tags on the items show they are from Walmart and even though my items will below the max permitted for a return, they refused to refund me. Never used clothing with Walmart tags.
Walmart has just lost a loyal customer. I will not be going back ever again. I will make sure to go elsewhere that actually cared about their customers for all my needs.

I have to say it was incredibly frusterating to see no less than three staff members with their mask pulled down in less than 15 minutes.

I was stuck in line for about 10 mins while there was difficulty ringing in some gift cards but the 5* review is for the cashier and the manager. I think his name was Kyle and hers Joyce. He was very patient with the cashier which I was impressed by. They were very polite which made an annoying delay much more tolerable.

Came on a Saturday afternoon. Store had many customers but everyone was able to social distance. The store's inventory was better than other locations in Calgary that I've been to and they had some nice sales going on as well. This location has a Tim Hortons/McDonald's inside/attached to it. The grocery section has a combination of packaged foods, baked goods, and fresh produce though it's limited compared to an actual grocery store. One thing I've noticed about all Walmart locations in Calgary is their lack of gluten free products compared to locations in Ontario. They have the basic GF bread in the freezer section and sometimes have GF pasta (rare to find the GV brand of GF pasta as it's significantly cheaper than all other brands and tastes virtually the same.) The pharmacy section was better stocked than other locations as well.

Store was clean and tidy. Marie the cashier was very freindly and helpful. A sincere and pleasant person.

The only difficult time I have when shopping at Walmart is of I go shopping with my wife. At that point any planned action is doomed.
This time however, we have temp sensitive items during in the vehicle. So it was an easy in and out. LoL

It is clearly stated on the customer service desk that they honor the scanning code of practice but the employees don't honor it.
We felt scammed and so disappointed because the prices rang higher than shelf price and of course, a lot of people, for sure have been scammed as well. This happened around 6: 30pm November 18,2021.
Customer service staff are supposed to be nice but they are so rude in handling customers!

Came in for a new razor and waited 30+ minutes on someone and they never showed up. Went to customer service to see if someone there could help me, no one showed up. Laughable customer service from this location.

I have never actually written a bad review about a store before. The customer services at the entertainment area of this walmart is trash. I needed to know more about what I wanted getting and the two customer services guys were just discussing and didn't attend to me. I tried to make my presence know, they both looked at me and didn't say anything. It took a while before they noticed. Apparently he was training a new employee. What a great way to train a new staff about customers

You know what, it's not bad as far as Walmarts go. On the cleaner side of many of them. Usually pretty well stocked. Busy so the turn over solves allot of dating and waiting for new item issues you see at allot of Walmarts.
The staff is generally the highlight of a visit here they are pleasant and helpful for the most part.
Worth the drive here rather than going to any closer ones as far as I'm concerned.
The occasional complete rearranging of the sales floor can be frustrating but generally forgivable and shows they care enough to change things.
Score is based on comparison to Walmarts.

Walmart has lost a customer in me and us shippers whove had load of food product return to us in fine condition. Half the cases were perfectly fine and the rest were merely squished only slightly on bottom layer which is perfectly normal when pallets being transported around. Nothing can be done about it. Every load we do this happens but walmart is the only customer to fine us every chance they get.
They fined our company bunch $$ for it. Like they fine us for other petty things and other companies too just so they can cash in as much they can. Greedy dirty tactics. Do they not realize we are customers for them too? Well not anymore

Horrible. I had a really bad experience in here. Never ever shopping at walmart again. They opened a master card for me eventough I didn’t give them permission. I called their customer service line. And all they did cancel the card.

Had an awful experience at this location. The cashier at the self checkouts were extremely pushy trying to sell the Walmart credit card instead of helping us with our purchase. I understand that there is exyra profit and walmart as a company asks associates to sell a certain amount but being so pushy trying to sell credit cards instead of helping customers with their in store experience just backfires for the customers. This person specifically, was not helpful, was rude and unprofessional.

All around, the worst shopping experience. They also claim to offer walk-in COVID vaccinations, when I went to get one, I was told I'd have to make an appointment.

I go to this Walmart to get my prescriptions and weekly groceries. I like it because it almost always has a cart for me to ride and has everything I need.

Rupali at self check out does not know how to use self check out and she puts wrong number of items if any customer seeks help from her. She should be given proper training or should be fired immediately.

Only because I can't give a ZERO star rating. We thought that going later at night would be not as busy. WRONG. Only 2 tills open. 6 to 8 people in line for each. They did NOT open another. Very frustrated, as they didn't have any of the sale items out that we went there for.

My wife and I tried the online grocery for the first time and this gentleman named Emanuel loaded our groceries cheerfully and gave us free hand sanitizers.
I'd highly recommend this Walmart due to the experience we had.

Well stocked, you can find whatever you need here. I took one star off because I have been calling them for a week now and not one department is picking up the phone, I have no clue why? I don't live close by so I can't just drive there for a simple question.

Staff and supervisors don't tell you when you are buying something if it is final sale or not
So I go in to return something the associate Irah refused to return it so i asked for a manger she said she was a manger when she was only a supervisor. I asked for a higher manger she calls me someone and i asked him id he was a manger because he didn't look like it he said he was security. I asked why was security called instead of a manger he said because apparently she felt threatened.
I'm sorry threatened why? Because I asked for manger and refund?
Or was it because I am Muslim and wear a hijab?
She was giving us attitude the whole time yet so nice to everyone else
People like this shouldn't be working and representing a big company like this.

This Walmart location is not as busy as other locations. It lacks selection and supply. Many times I have come here for multiple items, and they don't have them for multiple days at a time. Its not the cleanest store, with clothing items and toys all over the floor for example. Its a fine experience as long as they have what you need.

Horrible customer service and not because of the employees but probably because of upper management. 8 lanes total but only one was open, there were about 8 customers in line for the one check out lane, after 20 minutes I gave up and used the self serve lane, which was a major pain because multiple of my items wouldn't scan and had to wait for assistance but the poor check out employees were understaffed in the self serve lane as well and they were running around frantically to help everyone, this place doesn't deserve another visit.

Thank God for Co-op and Save On Foods - they actually have steaks on the May long weekend - unlikeWalmart, who advertise steaks, but don’t have any. Another marketing scam to draw people in? Customers are chewing out clerks, who catch the blame for questionable management practices. Perhaps WallyWorld is prepping customers for the rapidly approaching “green” agenda in which both the cow and meat-eater will be abolished? I won’t be wasting money or time to shop there again. You should refrain from advertising a 7 day sale, and be more truthful - “Come take part in our imaginary meat hunt”.

Seems fairly easy to get groceries on line quickly and they did not short any of my items. Good prices

Many of the self-checkouts were not working. They also do not clean or sanitize the monitors or card machines between uses.

I received rotten food aswell never was refunded by the items I never received.
I called customer service 3 times that told me I would get conformation, which I never received it.

I was tring to be safe by ordering through the pick up service but health and safety concerns that they send moldy produce to customers is a health violation.

Jason The picker guy tall and lanky dude is simply amazing super nice and helpful! Will only shop when he is there! He is the definition of PURE AWESOMENESS

Everything was fine until we got to the self checkout. As we were about to pay, a staff member ran up to us and told us to stop because she wanted to promote their credit card. Took 3 hard refusals to have her leave us alone. Instead of having them push their credit card, maybe have them sanitize the equipment that people are using.

Its a Walmart, they are doing their part to slow the spread of COVID. They did not have what I was looking for, but thats okay.

Pretty well stocked most of the time unlike most Walmart. The walmart staff is easily available and quite helpful as well. Amazing Walmart Wireless Team to help you with all cellular carriers in AB as well.

It was a good shopping experience just too many people going up the wrong way with the aisles and there's arrows posted on the floor so I don't know how it's so hard but that's just me anyway it was a great shopping experience at Walmart and I commend them for their great work through this pentamic and I hope for their continued public support!

Needed help with a large item twice a pgecwas done no one showed up ended up going to customer service they did get me help

Go early if you don't want to wait in line a half an hour to pat for groceries etc. High quality fruits, veggies and meats at this location. Staff keep it clean! Highly recoomend A+

Good prices and friendly service. Customer service can be slow but they are friendly and understanding.

They sell gift cards that have already been used (even with the pin not being scratched) and then say its not their problem to fix. Avoid this store at all costs.

The Wal-Mart Supercenter is a very good place to shop and have lunch and look around.the staff are friendly and helpful and polite and respectful. Great atmosphere.

The shopping is all right, but if you arrive before 8 a.m. You have to go to the self-checkout. Walmart expects you to bag your own groceries and charge you the same price. Maybe they should put a cashier on a register. Every karts that I tried either the coin slot didn't work to release the cart are the wheels were bent and squeaking. I gave it two stars because of the lack of attention to the customer and the customers needs.

Needed to exchange a game and ended up returning it as the costumer service made it all too complicated. Simplicity is not what you will find in dealing with them

Been coming here for years, employees are respectful and helpful and local shoppers are polite. Never had any issues here and is one of the easiest Walmarts to navigate

Absolutely poor service (extremely lack of) 12/14/19. Asked 1 CSR for someone to come unlock razor display. Wait 15 min.no one showed.find someone else.repeat. 15 mins still no one. 3rd person.nadda wait 10, family goes back to truck and I complain to front end manager. Took our business elsewhere.cannot believe the lackluster service today.

Bought bags because we forgot ours. All of them ripped despite one even only having two bags of chips. Ended up damaging our items.

This Walmart is beyond big so talk about keep a list and stick to it otherwise you could be easily distracted by the endless amounts of merchandise they have here way way to easy to end up walking out of here with everything but whats on your list especially now with all the Christmas chocolates on display and If your like me and know a bunch of chocolate lovers then this walmart might just have something for everyone on your list with a sweet tooth! There is one thing that bugs me about here and it too bad because this store is so clean and wide open but the toy section is the worst nothing matches with barcode prices and things are not put away properly its a bit of a nightmare and ridiculously hard to find right prices for anything because things are either in front of the wrong prices or there's no price at all and we all know how much we love it when we want something but are clueless about price super annoying right? But this doesn't stop me from coming here and it shouldn't stop you either just come with some extra time and keep calm and shop on

Never any service, difficult to understand steps, 3people were there looking for someone to help. When the guy finally arrived the booth froze, after 40mins of trying I gave up in tears and walked away! Won't be back

Poor the teller would not bag a single thing and security guards stood in front of the doors talking when we went to leave

Only 2 Cashiers open (Express lane - no other lanes open) & long line of shoppers waiting to pay, then one left the Express lane! Having waited 20 mins, I went to Customer Service to pay but had to leave the produce behind! Not a happy Shopper!

Security stops most customers demanding to see their receipt. Even with a full cart of bagged groceries, they proceed to start reading the receipt, therefore detaining customers. This is a blatant violation of customers Charter Right to freedom from arbitrary detainment. If loss prevention is of importance to this Walmart, they will need to hire store detectives/floor walkers, and only detain people they see commiting a theft.

Beef stew cuts and steak are a rip off, very very chewy.expensive.go to co-op higher quality and cheaper. "Satisfaction guaranteed" is impossible to use!

Lots of parking particularly handicap parking. They are all with walking distance. The one thing I dislike is having to remember the loonie for the carts. I can understand why the store implemented this practice but it is a nuisance.

Went there looking for blind spot mirrors and some hand tools. To make a long story short, a majority of the employees would rather socialize then actually help you find a item and are overall incompetent. Don’t waste your time, go to Canadian Tire.
