I was very disappointed with my experience today at Walmart on Upper James around 1130 am the self check two ladies were rude not helpful when I ask for help there attitude going on there was no cash being used on the machine I use the self checkout before at Walmart usually the self checkout person will help last time she took my money over to the machine gave me my change. The woman today both of them acted like it wasn’t there job to help with self checkout at all i I do question what they do all day they just stand there being rude to customers not helpful at all. I seem lots of complain on here about the self checkout i would have given it a zero star if I could
BE WARNED: THERE ARE PICK POCKETS AT THIS STORE! THEY ASK YOU TO HELP THEM REACH SOMETHING AND THEN GRAB YOUR STUFF. WATCH YOUR BACK. AND YOUR FRONT
You have to use a quarter now to get a cart. In a world of instant pay Walmart would now like us to travel back in time and start carrying change again. Only people over 40 carry change Photo centre is way too expensive.
I live right by this Walmart and it was great. It was a diverse place and everyone was helpful no matter what race. Now it seems the majority of workers are from India and it is almost impossible to get assistance. The workers will just stand in their area visiting with friends and it seems if your not Indian they will ignore you.
I thoroughly appreciated the support and customer service today. I had two ladies (Nishva- Customer Service Manager) & Avinash (Fashion Associate) helping me shop and locate clothing on a wish list for a child in need. This took a lot of time and patience. I expected to run around the store looking for all those the requested items but instead they placed me strategically in one spot and brought all of the items to me. I and without words on how grateful I am for such a personable and heartwarming experience. I hope that they are recognized for going above and beyond their call of duty. So would appreciate if someone could tell me where I can speak to this wonderful experience so that they are recognized not just on this review. Ladies, thank you again. Walmart needs more employees like the both of you!
Almost got my pocket picked here! Also as I was leaving today someone was racially profiled told to go back and "pay for their things" even though they had a receipt,
Waited over an hour for a grocery pick up. Disappointed as I tried to save time as I have a baby, but wasted more time. Would definitely recommend the rymal road walmart for pickup. Much quicker!
Waiting for pickup at the store took an hour. Repeated calls telling me they would bring the item out right away resulted in another 15 mins of waiting.
Very terrible service on groceries pick up. Waiting over a month to hour and let the phone ring for over 20 minutes and they still don't answer. And when I got my order over an hour I had multiple items missing. Will never ever shop there again. And staff is very rude
There is no social distancing. There are so few checkouts open (50% of self checkouts closed too) that the lines take up all the space. No one in line has enough space and if you need to get to the other side of the store, the only way to do it is to walk through the roped off areas. If walmart can't maintain guidelines they should be closed.
I recently moved near this Walmart and have been using the grocery pickup. Every time the employees are friendly and accommodating. They are doing fantastic during all of this. Thank you for helping me with my grocery needs.
Never go to this place if you want anything.they are always out they run out of milk, eggs, half the stuff in the frozen food section is gone, school supplies forget it that area always looks empty, health and beauty section they run out of stuff there too like tylenol and other non prescription medication. I use the Upper Sherman location its alot less busy
The employee, Cade, was super helpful on the floor during my visit! He helped me find what I needed quickly! The rest of the staff are friendly as well!
We are in a pandemic. Walmart Upper James Hamilton Ontario Canada.no cashiers.shoppers being forced to go thru self checkouts.no cleaning being done on the machines and area between customers.no social distancing being enforced.covid cess pool. Walmart does not care
Don't bother doing a grocery pickup here. We waited 53 minutes for an order we could have went in and been out within 20 minutes with. The substitution email we received was also incorrect, saying an item was in stock however we were informed when we got there that that wasn't the case. Poorly managed store.
We also got home to find half of our order not in our trunk so if you decide to order from here, double check that they gave you everything.
Bought an RCA TV 60” dec 28 has blinking issues so enquired about returning for a replacement first week March and was told about their 60 day return policy and they won’t accept it back or replace with a substitute. Sorry bout your luck! Be careful purchasing electronics from Walmart
I was there shopping for my self and my mom 2 managers came to the cashiers and said we can't do that, I said what do you mean I do the shopping for my parants I do it all the time she said no. I called customer service no call back no fallow up I would never go back there
I'm giving a low rating just because of the beauties you haveto encounter coming here. I barely have the patience to even drive through the parking lot especially with the poorly designed parking lot around the liquor store exit. Staff does the best they can but impatient, insensitive people are almost too much to bare here.
Customer service department especially the manager should be looked into, it’s not proper for customers to pay for items only to realize later that 1 or more items are missing in the bags. You go back for the items and the staff unapologetically decides which items they’ll give back and keep the rest. Worst experience I’ve ever had when shopping. It’s safe to use self checkout at this store so you can be sure all the items paid for, are in your bags.
This is a very large walmart supercentre with McDonald restaurant. The walmart have photo centre pharmacy and other variety of products.
There are two staffs at the entrance screening people for Covid19 symptoms by answering questions and sanitizing one's hands before going into the store to shop.
On Wednesday February 3rd they are just letting people line up one after each other at the checkout. People were putting their food on the conveyor belt before I was even done and the manager didn't even care. You Grandma killing covid factories
