Mary the associate in the customer service was very rude - she should not be in the returns. So rude - she needs a proper customer service training. Shes not “ happy to help “ attitude

Seem like Walmart Airdrie dropped the ball this morning At 11: 11 am today (remembrance day).
They were playing standard music. I don’t think it was intentional however very serious thing.

After their recent renovation it's essentially a maze in the middle of the store. The food/grocery section is okay but the clothing, housewares etc. Is all over the place. Its incredibly frustrating trying to find anything in the middle of the store now. Also seems like a large portion of the self checkout stations are always closed and then limited tills are open.

It’s a 50/50 thing with this store; the staff will either be nice (typically at the entrance door), but those at the till are usually unfriendly. The store is also a huge mess ever since the renovation, so I barely go there now. Ah, well!

There’s nothing better than being made to feel like a criminal while you’re trying to spend money. Seems as though they do this regularly according to other reviewers. We have spent a lot of money at this store just to be watched like we’re shoplifting. Superstore is a way better option with much better customer service and I plan on spending my hard earned money there in the future. Time for some new management Walmart.

Electronic centre NEVER fails to un impress.major lack of customer support while having the personality of a rock. Every single time I think it will be a different experience.turns out to be the same. I mention it amongst peers and the experience is alike.

They're doing some renovations and could not access the garden center from the inside. Once again, good 'Ol Walmart is in the process of moving everything around. A bit hard to find things. I'm sure that when the renovations are done, it will be a better shopping experience.

Ok this Walmart really needs to get their act together. It doesn't matter what day you go you'll find allot of their shelfs empty, huge line ups on self serves, no staff around to help you. When I asked one of the employees why not open all the registers so the line ups aren't so long the employee said half of them are not working and the management does not seem to care and won't get them fixed. The employee actually encourage us to voice our concerns to the management, which we did. Remember don't get mad at the employees for the registers not working/closed, it's the management that you should voice your concerns too. This Walmart is not up to the standards of other Walmarts I've been too. Not enough staff, shelfs empty and registers not working, hopefully these issues will be addressed by management.

The cleanest and most well stocked walmart ive been in.and lots of clearance specials.the young man at self serve was super friendly and helpful to boot so was a surprisingly pleasant stop on my way to Canmore from edmonton

Items are well stocked every time I go. Store is clean and free of clutter. Prices are low compared to other stores.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Easy in and easy out!

At 1800 only 2 checkouts are open, they are making customers to wait for 30 mins to an hour in line to get to the register.
Cant imagine Why a billion dollar chain is playing soo cheap that they cant keep enough employees to keep the registers open.

Overall, a good store with great selection and low prices. As tourists, we have shopped here frequently and have been satisfied. I still deduct one star from my rating because of these two reasons:
1. It is extremely creepy that there is a person at the entrance whose only job is to greet us with a robotuc smile.
2. Almost the entire assortment, which is labeled "German" is Austrian! It even says "Vienna" and "Made in Austria" on the products!

Has basically everything you need all under one roof. In terms of grocery prices, i would say walmart would be tied with discount places like no frills and giant tiger. Places like real Canadian superstore would be mid-tier. Higher tier/pricey grocery places like sobey's, save on foods, safeway, and coop are definitely more expensive. I average about $20-30 cheaper per week driving 3km going to no frills/walmart than save-on-foods just up the street.

100% would not recommend this Walmart. Employees can do better.
I wouldn't even call this a super center because they don't restock their shelves.
They only had one till open and I waited over half an hour in line with others and the cashier was careless and threw my stuff and even squished a couple things.
Do better Airdrie Walmart.

Had most of all I need missing a few key items. Alot cheaper then most stores all thou had to shop somewhere else hence the 4 stars not 5

I love shopping at this Walmart and even though I am moving soon to calgary I will probably continue there. But PLEASE teach the people in the self checkout proper customr service etiquette. I have, as of today been accused 3 different times of possibly stealing items cause I don't have bags and just load my cart (I usually forget the bags in my car snd load the items at my car) today again the guy watched me place each item in my cart and the whole time, when i could understand him
lechering me on needing bags and not just putting the items in my cart so they can make sure iam not stealing! I spend more money there than anywhere as I go at least every couple days. I have had enough of dealing with this nonsense.

I love Walmart because no matter your budget you can get something good for your household.
The workers are always ready to assist.

Wanred to buy carpet cleaner, not much there and one we wanted out of stock. Some other items, same problem. Then at self check out they watch you like a hawk, and still want to see your receipt. Treating customers like criminals is the new thing I guess, perhaps give the cashiers their jobs back? Not impressed

Clean store where you can find everything you need.
Maybe more roasted chicken and potatoes?

Great to have a store open late to pickup some last minute stuff for first thing in the morning

Love their food items and others too. Love that they have order online and pick up. The staff at the pick up point are all very friendly and awesome.

I never cared to write a review, but never have I felt so disrespected. I came to grab a few stuff after work, I live in Calgary but this walmart was close by. I came to buy press on's and its semi normal to have them locked, so I just asked the lady working to grab em for me. She told me I had to pay there it was fine because I only stopped by for it. Then when I tried paying I asked if i can pay by tap or cash she said no just the other checkout. So I told her ok ill just go to self checkout and she gripped the nails acting like its worth 100 like girl its 9$ chill, she kept looking around and told me she would have to walk me all the way to checkout. I told her im not going to steal, my perfume is worth more then her whole outfit you can calm. Never had this happen to me before at any location. She literally walked and stayed with me for checkout for a minute and realized the line was long and finally gave it to me. The classless racial profiling in this store is disgusting.

Terrible: asked customer service at 7: 15pm, June19th, 2022, to open up a til as there were no tils open. Customer service refused and said, "sorry, that's just the way it is. " Despite there being staff, stocking shelves, and younger kid staff on phones, no one came to the til. If we didn't already pick out an entire cart of items we would have left. There were staff to open tils but in summary Customer service refused our request and wouldn't page any staff to check out, And no staff came to check out either this Father's Day weekend. We couldn't even leave a message for marv the manager

Just left your store in Airdrie, 1 cashier 10 people with full carts in line, supervisor called for backup 3 times noone showed up, then as more people showed up in line the courtesy desk lady came and chose the orders she would take small orders with nothing to weigh, so I watched all the people that came after I did go by me and get waited on, I waited in line 30 minutes finally the supervisor opened a cash. This is unacceptable, I worked in a grocery store for 44 years we had all dept. Managers trained for cash so at busy times we could go help out. The management at this store seems to be lacking knowledge on how to take charge when unexpected busy times arise.

Friendly staff, but dislike constantly being asked to see receipt when I refuse to buy a bag! Even if they are still available? I noticed they went bagless a little while ago. So when i forget to bring in my own bag or bins i will load into my bins when i return to my vehicle. I understand they are only doing their job but to me if contradictory when they don't offer bags unless you buy them. Pick a side, you can't have it both ways.

Id like to share a great experience, tonight I was the last customer, I missed the closing notification, becase I had my beats on, when I arrived I was late by 5 mins, thought I was doing groceries tomorrow, however Khanh arrived to help me get my groceries trough, totally saved my day, Id like to thank him, most people leave within secons of closing, only a few good ones take 5 mins of their time to make the difference, thanks

It's the only Walmart in Airdrie. They don't have more varities and options like in Calgary or Edmonton. They also have very less options for international department.

Very busy on the weekends
Lots of food turn around, food is pretty fresh. When you go there, don't be in a hurry. Prepare to make time for shopping.
Good selection, good prices
Won't hurt your pocket book as some of the fancier stores will.

A staff got mad at me for riding the scooter around in the store and told me "if I say you riding around, I will tell my manager".

Busy retail shopping experience. By the way they have discontinued having plastic bags so come prepared.
