Walmart Supercentre

Do not use the self checkout leading back into the mall towards the shoppers. The self check out girl with curly hair was so rude and disrespectful towards everyone who was in front of me including elders who are hard of hearing. I witnessed her laughing at said elder in her face with a customer agreeing that her job is annoying. I had to step in to let her know that someone was listening. She backed off. Also don't bother calling. They don't pick up or accept any calls or messages. Also this walmart had cockroaches. Hence the reason why I only bought cat litter

Always been a fairly good experience with Walmart. They always try their best to keep prices at its lowest (compared with S********e and S*****y) and it's by far one of the cleanest Walmarts I've experienced. Lots of good variety, mostly a one stop shop. Just needs more international items to choose from. It's always a pretty good experience to live near one.

I shop here often. I like it much better than the now closed Westmount Walmart. It's clean and well stocked The prices have always been okay. Even with rising food costs Walmart is a little cheaper than most competitors on most products. And they have a decent return policy. The front entrance staff is always friendly and approachable with good attitudes and quality service. Customer service is also very helpful and attentive. Staff have helped me load heavy boxes on my cart with no bother. The 2 floor layout gives this location ample room for a good selection and quantity of a lot of products and the whole place is quite clean with products front facing and well taken care of.

Great Walmart, with a huge selection and wildly unsatisfying customer service. Saw a lady with her Walmart name tag on tell a customer she didn't work there.

I went 3 times and i was very disappointed. 3 ails of soft drinks and NO rise, NO noodles, No Filodough? !? !? Meat shelves almost empty, NO bananas.clothes very poor selection. Elevator so tiny that people with disabilities in wheelchair can't get in. Really? For that huge space they could do better.

If I could give a. 5 star i would. No cashiers. Elevator broken. Escalator for the carts broken. Not stroller or handicap easy. Asked 5 people for help to get upstairs and ended up leaving my stroller at customer service just to go upstairs to shop for my 2 year old. To boot. Hardly any winter boots. Not very much for clothing. Only two workers were willing to help. The customer service lady. And the self check out lady. Everyone else was just rude. To boot. Every security and staff member made me feel like I was about to steal when I had money. I literally watched people shop lift and yet they were to busy with me. I used to work at the clareview Walmart and loved it. After visiting this location. I dont think I'll be shopping at Walmart anymore. Not unless I cant find what I'm looking for anywhere else. Even then. Rather go without. Thanks for the rude service

No banana, no zucchini, not much meat on the shelf.and u call this super center? Not much good deals the customers can enjoy.needs so much improvment

Disappointingly worse than the Westmount Walmart it replaced. Escalator is already broken after being open only 2 weeks, shelves are almost completely bare in every department, automotive section is next to nothing and there's constantly people in your way blocking while cutting through to get to the mall. I had high hopes being a brand new store but this place is a dump

Self check out was *not* self check out, specially if you're paying cash. You'd have to scan everything, get a receipt then bring EVERYTHING to a customer service agent for them to re-enter the items. Essentially duplicating work.

Inside doors to mall will not open until all the stores are open in the mall. Star$$ is open, mall is open, but you have to go all the way around the outside.

Agent on the phone was rude and condescending.

While it is massive, the only thing it has going for it is location, specially if the weather is bad. So get in, and get out.

Went there when they first opened at 8am. Found everything I was looking for and an extra buy a t-shirt that was cheap. Everything that I bought today had the price roll back on it except for the t-shirt which was only $13 anyways so I saved a little money going to Walmart instead of Safeway where I normally go.

Average Super centre, spread out on two floors instead of one. Escalator hampers shopping with a cart. Great central location!

DO NOT ever go to Walmart photo center for passport photos. My mom, son and I all got the passport photos from them (at 2 different locations) and all of the photos got rejected at the passport office today. We had to go to another shop to have them retaken! They assured you the photos met the criteria but the quality is very poor that the staff at passport office told us there was no way they could use them.

Where to start? Couldn't get an employee to help me find something without rolling his eyes and acting like I was an imposition on him, even though he was standing around talking to another employee. The store was out of 4 litres of 1%, 2% or whole milk, when brought it to the manager's attention, he blamed the employees in the back and admitted that this wasn't his department. Gave all sorts of excuses. Then I decided to get some Nanaimo bars, never thought to check the best before date. I was there Nov 5th. They expired 2 weeks ago on Oct 22. Finally the prices seem to be a bit higher than at other Walmarts in the area. This is just as aggravating as the old one at Westmount.

This place never has products stocked. I’ve gone twice and both times there’s no meat on the shelves and produce is lacking. Therefore, very inconvenient if you are here getting groceries. The parking lot is atrocious, a few lanes have super limited space in the lane, making it dangerous to get out of your parking spot. There is not enough security here, and a lot of interesting characters there hanging around inside and out. I guess that’s what you get for being oh my god Kingsway Mall.if they were trying to make a better impression from the Westmount location, they majorly failed. I’ve shopped at two story Walmarts in Victoria and the layout is much better than this one. I feel like they really could have done better. I’m extremely disappointed

Store is permanently closed as of Oct. 19 2022 at 6pm. New location at Kingsway Mall opens at 8am October 20 2022.

Went there today as our first time my wife and i. I am disabled and walk with a cane due to damage with muliple discs in my back. Found out it was a 2 floor store and the escalator doesn't work for bringing your cart up, no big deal bit of an inconvienence but no big deal. When we went to leave it is only self serve check out at either entrance, staff will help but you're on your own. I had parked at the main entrance near the food court so i put the 5 full bags of groceries back in the cart thinking like any other store i'd put the cart in the return bin outside. Security stopped us at the store entrance and said we weren't allowed to take the cart, they would help my wife by carrying them to the nearby couch. This place is in no way meant to help people like me with diabilities when you spend over $250 and then are told to carry them halfway across the mall while risking further damage to a disability. Will never go back

3 dumpy middle-aged Asian female employees laughed at me for no reason when i was walking to the parking lot.other than that it seems okay.

2nd review: Updating my review less than 24 hrs after giving them 5 stars, downgrading to 3 stars. One star for every time I had to bump into the shady guy trying to get people to buy a gift card and asking for money. He asked multiple people for money ect. Informed pharmacy who called security which clearly did nothing as I ran into the same guy an hour later! This store brings in all the trash.
1 st review: Was there a few days after it opened. Store was nice and clean. So much selection compared to the small Westmount location. It's a huge upgrade! The only thing I noticed is the shoe department is small. Otherwise this location is great, lots of new items I see since they have more shelf and space! So glad for the produce section and the freezer, cooler section. I had an issue with my bank card and the staff were super patient and understanding while I stood in self checkout on the phone with my bank. Was finally able to pay using my phone. Thanks Walmart, I'll be back soon.

My wife and a friend checked out the new Walmart at Kingsway mall they will never go there again the very tiny elevator they have has room for only one shopping cart my wife got stuck in the elevator with a disabled cart and got hurt the she went and got a shopping cart and that escalator broke down worst trip ever they have a upstairs and a down stairs shopping they need a bigger elevator and they need someone around to assist a injured customer she told the staff and they did not care check it out for your self but if you are using disable wheel chair beware of the elevator it is a safety issue's

Catastrophe. Every time i go almost empty shelves.fruit, veggies, meat, almost all food. Clothes very poor selection. Walmart on South and Stony plane road are way better. As far as i know it all depend of manager of the store, what he order and how often. Paying cash is painful. They dont have cashiers for that so every time you want to pay cash prepare to stand in extra line.

This location looks pretty clean, minus the usual Walmart mess. Customers need to put stuff back where it was. It's not that hard. It has a good variety of wares. The grocery section was much larger then expected. There's a lot of empty shelves though. Especially in ground meat section.

There's a neat carousel for your carts to go upstairs on the escalator.

Plenty of check out lanes.
Prices are so so. Not really saving at this point. It's just barely cheaper.

We went here yesterday and when we went in there was no vegtables, no cashiers, it was a mess over there it was only a month of the grand opening and stuff gone.terrible

This Walmart is by far the worst Walmart has ever opened and should be closed like immediately they have zero stock in Edmonton we have snow on the ground we're in there to find a pair of snow boots winter boots they have zero stock for men winter boots all but one pair of men's size 13 zero stock of any type of kids boots that are any good and the women have two choices and one of them's work boots the rest of the shelves are empty never stopped and they fall everybody around like their criminals this is by far the worst or I've ever shopped at I missed the Westmount store so much and I advise everybody to stay clear this you can't do your Christmas shopping here cuz they have no stock they have nothing to buy

I thought this place was going to be bumpin' based on the exterior and the articles in the news saying they're carrying a larger variety of foods from Asia and the world.

I got in and it's just another small dingy Walmart like the Westmount location was. Some guy was being chased (a speedwalk) by under cover security because he had some big box in his jacket. Like a rice cooker lol. Somehow he didn't make it out the door and turned around still being chased.

Anyways, there was no great selection for leafy greens in produce, thought maybe bok choy at least given the neighbourhood but no. Won't go out of my way to make this my new shopping location unfortunately. If there was cashiers for check out I only saw self serve on the first floor.

I have to disagree with other reviewers: I found this Walmart very bright and clean and well-stocked (especially in comparison to the old Westmount one, which was horrible). There are a lot of people running around that you can ask for things and we found that vegetables and generally produce was of a good quality. The only downside is that it is not as huge as other Supercentres (the one in Terra Losa is probably the biggest I know). Otherwise I can recommend going there.

Meats where all grey don’t suggest u buy the meat products from Walmart, Safeway was the best for your every needs

Brand new shiny store with so many extra staff
The big issue I have is the fact that all the groceries are about 20% more expensive than THE OTHER WALMARTS in town.
