Today is the last day I ever step into the store and shop. Unless it’s just to cut through it to get to the parking lot.
This store used to be convenient. Now, it’s absolutely dirty and filthy. Short staff, has led to all automated teller’s being shut down. Which makes no sense. Shopping carts are a dollar so that you can shop in their store. No handbasket anywhere. Stuff is either standing there doing nothing or it seems like they’re hiding.this location is no longer convenient or clean.looks like I’ll be going back to a grocery chain. -Dw

Not the rent-a-cop racially profiling me. I purchased my items, went to McDonalds to get something to eat and while sitting there I realized I forgot to get 2 items. I asked the Self Checkout police officer if I could leave my cart with my groceries neatly packed with her while I grab the one item. As I am leaving, it’s security asking me for a receipt. I have no big items, just one reusable bag of groceries. I asked her why she’s asking me for a receipt, she telling me she asks everyone for a receipt. This is my home Wal-Mart and have NEVER in 13 years been asked for a receipt. I told her the receipt is in the bottom of my grocery bag and I am not digging through it to provide it to her, because if you suspect that I am stealing do you think I would’ve left my groceries with the checkout police, went back into the store, purchased items and then attempt to leave. I thought thieves leave in a rush? I told her she can get the receipt herself, she proceeded to do so. I took my bag to my car and returned the cart in store to get my $1 back, as I’m standing there I see multiple customers walk out with the groceries and all she does is smile at them and nod. In this freakin day and age in a city as diverse as Scarborough, you guys have staff with the audacity to racially profile people. She is lucky I am as humble as I am and I don’t like attention.

On two separate occasions, I had interactions with an employee named Tika (I believe that's her name) at the self-checkout counter at the ground floor level, and I believe it's important to bring these incidents to your attention for the sake of improving customer service.

During the first encounter, my family and I needed assistance with entering a product code for an item that was missing its barcode. Tika's response was to suggest that we travel all the way back to the aisle to select another product, which happened to be located in the basement level of the store (we were at the ground level). Given the considerable distance and inconvenience involved, I politely inquired whether alternative solutions could be explored, such as checking the system for the code, contacting a colleague, or requesting assistance from one of the store associates. Unfortunately, Tika declined these options, resulting in us having to interrupt our checkout process to retrieve the single item, all the while managing a toddler.

On the second occasion, we requested Tika to provide us with four quarters in exchange for a one-dollar to purchase a treat for our toddler from one of the vending machines. Regrettably, she informed us that she was unable to fulfill this simple request.

I believe that these instances highlight the need for additional training in customer service and problem-solving skills for your employees, including Tika. These situations not only inconvenienced us but also left us feeling dissatisfied with our overall shopping experience.

As a loyal Walmart customer, I hope that you will take this feedback into consideration and implement appropriate training measures to ensure that all customers receive the excellent service they deserve. I appreciate your attention to this matter and trust that improvements will be made to enhance the shopping experience for all patrons.

All around terrible service! First, if you have a disability do not expect any accommodation from anyone. Most of the employees are no where to be found and if you find one try getting any real assistance, none of them seem to know where anything is located nor do they have any clue about sale items in flyers. Totally clueless employees, messy disorganized shopping areas and some of the most ill mannered security guards ever! Never shopping here again.

Just had a horrible experience with two extremely rude and mean old women working at the women's fitting room. Interestingly I just found another bad review that was made 5 days ago about this same old Indian woman named Thedcha. Yeah, two customers complained about the same person within 5 days. She treated me like a criminal when I didn't do anything wrong/suspicious. So is her coworkers named Crystal and I found other bad reviews about her as well (she lied to me she is the manager and loves to fight). They helped each other to disgust customers because they are miserable. Unbelievably, The so called assistant manager named Swapan was defending Thedcha, no wonder she is treating customers like that.

Went there around 6pm on Sep2 and had a pajama tried on but was too big for me, so I dropped it to the shopping cart right behind Thedcha's back. However, she was too lazy to turn her back to check. When I was walking ahead with my child, She rudely yelled at me and asked"where are the pants (pajama) ? I took offense of it and it was the same as treating me like a criminal; She could have easily checked herself before she opened her mouth and the pajama was right behind her back. ALso, she was very verbally aggressive and we started to fight. She even educated me that I should not talk in front of my child like that and that my child would learn it from me. I told her that she should mind her own business not to teach her child (ren) as disrespectful as her. She then said that she was better than me (obviously she is not). I then called her a B-word. Long story short, when Swapan was dealing with this issue he only cared about that I called her a B-word, and ignored how rude and misbehaved Thedcha was, saying that what she did at the beginning was totally right because it was her job (yeah right, she was right to be lazy at her job then treated customer like a criminal due to her laziness and rude nature). He also told me that she is the kindest employee of the store. He also kept accusing me of calling her name regardless her misconduct, and he picked on every word I said about her to aggressively accusing me till I went away. In addition, when Swapan was there, Thecha was acting like a cat playing like a victim. When I was asking her if she saw me doing anything suspicious, Swapan told me that I couldn't ask her any question. Anyways, she was honest and said "NO" to my question. Yeah there is camera everywhere so she can't lie about my activities.

Also this old woman Cystal called me ugly, yeah I did call her as well. (Thedcha lied to people that I called her ugly). Crystal kept telling me that I should talk like an adult. So the funny thing is, as mature as she is who is at 70s, who was there lying about she was the manager? Wasn't herself had to talk like an adult or her age? She joined the fight when it was none of her business, and made the fight bigger involved with 3 people, then she called the security. There were other details about her to tell she was very irritating. I look down on someone like this, a lot.

Really had a bad experience this evening while my sister was trying in clothes in the changing room. A Punjabi old lady who is an employee came said that the changing rooms are not available after 9 and that she should come early and it was a little after 9 pm. They had a little disagreement there. This lady approached us again and started with her racist comments on Indian students in Canada being an Indian herself. Funny how people who have been living here for longer hates newcomers so much that now they cannot even hide it. But trust me, not everyday is the same. Walmart should really take care of such employees. This was my first and last visit.

Most of the staff is rude and when they offer you the Walmart card they are nice but once you decline they either insist or just turn around very rudely. The self-checkout is most of the time without assistance.

Horrible attitude by staff. Beware of Chrystal and Prema at women’s apparel section as they don’t have a pinch of manners and customer facing skills, plus their laziness at their job is at another level. Hope our complaints to the management staff will bring change!

This store is always in a disarray and dirty. I feel like I need to take a shower after I leave it. The one on Eglinton between Pharmacy and Warden is much nicer and cleaner. Tho I don't support or shop at Walmart do to there nasty practices. As an employment concentration camp. Once and a while they are the only store that has a particular product I require. They are also open quite late into the evening.

Wasn't happy with the appearance of the store. Lots of empty shelves in the health and beauty section. They didn't have my usual products. Had to get something else. Store looks old and grungy

Has almost everything in this Walmart and love how centrally located it is. The only thing is that the entrance/exit to the lower parking area should be a bit more accessible or shall I call it more wider because it's cramped and the pavement should be nice and paved, but right now it has a lot of potholes and ditches, other than that, it's all good.

Be aware: The self-check out most likely are NOT sanitized after each customer. I've kindly told an employee which one I've just used, she made eye contact, ignored me, and didn't even budge to sanitize it. Make sure you sanitize your own hands before and after because these lazy employees are not dependable!

This Walmart is smaller than most and will not have everything that you may be looking for! Very chaotic and messy throughout the store, however their customer service line for returns is great as there were no line ups going out the door!

Big store, 2 levels in mall and every exit has self checkouts but don't see any cash registers open. No lineup to enter or check out and had pretty much everything we were looking for.

Horrible experience. Neha an employee at Scarborough town center location was horribly unprofessional and rude. I asked simply to page the tv department personal and she refused and said shes on break im not going to page her, instead rather a customer wait till their break was done. I asked to speak with a manager and magically the tv rep arrived and said she wasnt even on break and dont know why they wouldnt page her. No tv knowledge. Horrible Horrible experience never go here for electronic items

As an associate (not as this location), i agree with the customers when i say the customer service is terrible not from me tho, i have respect.but like i call the store like 5 times, phone ringing for 3 mins each time an youre telling me nobody’s answering? Hire more people to do customer service, store standards, an electronics bc yall never have enough people in those areas to help.trust me, i’d know bc like i said, i work in a walmart an like all of them are the same when it comes to be understaffed in the wrong areas at the wrong time.disappointing

My son, wife, and I were checking out at a self-serve kiosk. Suddenly a large lady associate came up and pointed rudely, straight arm flared out, and told us loudly to distance and disperse (? !? !? !?) We are a family hello? ! If she was doing her job, then she needs to learn about the use of common sense, courtesy and friendly approaches with customers, giving them dignity as valued patrons (we pay for her wages after all)! If social distancing is her role, then she needs to make sure customers aren't close together-distance strangers, NOT family members! We were disgusted and felt the after shock for a good hour afterwards; it was a very regrettable experience.

Primitive and inefficient pickup service system. You MUST call ahead rather than calling when you are in Walmart to pickup your order or risk waiting for a long time. The staff are responsive and professional, it is the system that needs work.

I have ms and have problems walking sometimes. After getting in I asked the security guard if they had any motorized wheelchairs or regular wheelch
airs and he said no and quickly walked away. My friend also asked customer service and they said no.
I've been to lots of Walmarts and never had this problem.
I guess this walmart doesn't care about handicap people.

I was force To use self check out and their system is down and we were unattended for 5 minutes as all employees were there and reaped their problem internally and our money deducted from bank account but they’re not even taking little care to give our receipt to us.

Worst customer service. I was supposed to receive my scheduled order on January 2nd in between 10 to 11 am and i have still not received it. I have wasted around 4-5 hours of my time while waiting and calling customer support and even store support but there was no response. The person at the store held my call for 30 mins to discuss the issue with the manager and then disconnected the call. Moreover, I received a call that your order will be reaching to you in 10 mins. I went downstairs and waited for 1 hours and no body came.
This is ridiculous service. Most pathetic service I've seen ever. Would not recommend this store and their delivery to anyone!

Here is my online ordering and curbside pick up experience for this location. There are 2 levels in this location. The designated parking spot for curbside is in the upper level. The sign directs you to call a number when you arrive. The person on the phone directed us to go to aisle 9.except none of the aisles are numbered and you find out that only the grocery aisles are numbered and are located at the BOTTOM level. So after finding the pick up area there is nobody designated to service the clients in that area. So you have to peer inside the back room, which is supposed to be restricted area for customers, to find someone then they bring out the order. If you ordered something big you will have to maneuver all around the store between the tight aisle spaces up to the top floor where your car is located. At the very least couldn't they have put the parking spot on the SAME LEVEL as the PICKUP area inside the store? Wouldn't that make more sense? It's never been this complicated at any other Walmart. Save yourself the trouble and pick up ANYWHERE else

Trashy Walmart.
Recently visited to buy a Switch which showed as in stock on the website. Found it on display (locked). Employee took it to cash to sell it to us but couldn't due to an embargo. Three ineffectual supervisors came over and chatted about it among themselves at some length. Their concern for dealing with us was minimal compared to discussing further merchandised locations of the product. After some time they remembered we still existed, waiting at the counter and told us we couldn't buy it.
So don't display it or have it on your website as in stock.

I Really love this Walmart! I’ve been a huge fan of this Walmart ever since October 2019 and that’s when I realized the Movator made me think this Walmart is So awesome! I always tell my dad to try to go there every 2 months and it always works! Great store friendly people and service! I love this Walmart so much!

My husband goes grocery shopping there every morning.your food are reasonably price and your meat are very good. I also shop there your staff are friendly sometimes. I can usually find what I want at a good price. All in all happy to shop there.

I was here recently to do some grocery shopping and I was very dissatisfied with my visit. This place does not have any knowledge on social distancing, they do not have organized lines to limit capacity of the store, nothing is being sanitized, associates are rude, etc. The crazy thing is that you would expect a manager to ensure all of this is not happening in their store especially during a MAJOR pandemic. I saw one of the managers (Bald, brown skinned guy, believe his name starts with an R on his name tag) just standing by the self check out downstairs by the mcdonald’s doing absolutely NOTHING while everyone is all up next to each other and line ups are forming. You go to any other walmart and never see anything so crazy like this. This is ridiculous and needs to be fixed. This place is COVID CENTURY!

Today 11: 30 AM I showed up to STC Walmart to buy water bottles jar as every week I do go there to exchange bottles and buy new bottles Jar. Customer service guy refused to accept PRIMO bottle. He said they don't sale this company's product. I was surprised last week I got from them I insists and he called supervisor and he said they don't have it and again I requested he took the bottle and went somewhere to ask and came back he can't take it I only got replaced with one bottle I had to take the other empty bottle with me. I thought they stopped bringing this product anymore (however they supposed to return the deposit which I had bought from them) I had to purchased few other items and I went the place where I had to get the new bottle water jar and I saw few bottles of PRIMO and I was speechless it was just IN front of customer service. I had to ask them because even if i took that today next day they will say same thing and wont return the deposit 10$ and I had to through the bottle somewhere. I asked the guy and he called the boss (lady) I shared my frustration but she even did not say sorry rather she asked me to low my voice she tried to find anypoint not return take my empty bottle and let me buy the one but there were many bottles still laying on the floor IN front of them and finally they had to do it. They were rude and careless. Such a covid 19 situation customers should not engage a lot there I wanted to escape as early as possible but they keep me there for more than an hour because of there carelessness.

I was at the STC Walmart on 5th September 2020, and my handbag was stolen (at about 2.30pm). All my credit cards were compromised within half hour to one our of the theft. Nothing much could be done by Walmart security. I have made a call to TPS. The mall has no Police presence for assistance - you are on your own. Just be very careful as there are thieves waiting to pray at this location. It was a nasty experience. I'm still reeling from it.

I enjoyed my shopping experience. I know things are not normal theae days, however the store was well equipped with precautions for social distancing. I do wish some people would be more respectful of that as well as personal space. Also many people were not following the enter and exit signs clearly marked at the beginning and end of each isle. Whoever i was able to maneuver through the store without much problem. I made sure i followed the floor arrows and kept my distance as best as I was allowed from other. Safety first in this new normal.
