Walmart Supercentre

I am a Ube driver, you have to change 50% of the stuff because they think walmart for them when the kick someone out and said that I can't go in walmart anymore.
If you go to ask anyone for she start to be nervous.
They just want money without working

The Walmart itself is pretty average I just find the people that hang around the area are generally pretty scummy.

Very unimpressed with the cell phone process at this store. When I arrived I was told by the electronics associate that the wireless person must be on break, but he wasn't sure and didn't know when that person would be back. When I asked if he could at least check whether or not the phone I was looking for was in stock, he said he didn't have keys for their cell phone lockup. I asked if he could check other stores, he said he couldn't. When the wireless person arrived (which, to be fair, wasn't a long wait), I was told he would be at least two hours with people he was already with (despite that wireless person having JUST come back from break [I think — I never did find out if he actually was on break or not]). When I asked the wireless person if the phone I wanted was in stock, he told me no and that none of the other Walmarts had any either, but when I pressed further he said maybe, but I had to phone myself. At least the wireless person at the other Walmart I called could verify that no other Walmarts had the phone in stock (not good news, but at least it was an actual answer).

So, that's no wireless person available, not sure when they'd be back from break (or even if they were on break), no way to check stock in that store or any other store (so I wouldn't even know if the wait would be worthwhile), other customers immediately put ahead of me as soon as the wireless person came back from break, and no definitive answer from anyone whether or not I would be able to buy the phone from a different Walmart. I understand that staffing is tough, that there isn't always going to be someone available to help, that it's tough to get staff to care that much at retail pay levels and when the store won't pay for enough staff, that stock is an issue due to supply chain issues and the recent BC floods, but this level of failure is disappointing. Disappointing enough to post a review at least and to try to tell others to not waste their time.

To be clear, I don't blame the electronics person, it seemed more like he was not put in a position to be very helpful, and that's a management-level issue. But when associates in related departments don't even know where their coworkers are or when they'll be back and when there isn't even anyone who can answer the simple question of if stock is available, and when staff put other customers first to the point that I would, basically, never be helped that night, I have to question how seriously this store (or company) is taking the customer service experience. I will definitely not return and will definitely steer clear of Walmart in the future for cell phones (and probably in general). Btw, the downtown Best Buy I went to afterwards was a really good experience (y'know, they had associates available and those associates could tell me that things were in stock and like that).

Understaffed. Limited selection. Produce looks like garbage clearly nobody works in that department because I've found more rotten products then edible product. They act highly unprofessional never know where any products are and the products are usually sold out due to poor management and ordering. Out of multiple occasions here, this Walmart is highly inferior to any other Walmart I've ever shopped at. This location is dirty, poorly managed and understaffed.

This location of Walmart is understaffed compared to how big of a store it is. I visited twice and both of the time, there was a huge queue at the cash and only one employee was helping. Apart, from that, everything else is okay!

The stock at this location is always either low or not available or sold out like honestly that needs to be a problem with the people responsible for ordering inventory. It has got to be the most frustrating thing ever.

WalMart probably does more illegal things than you think. Last time I checked, they're America's 2nd-most litigated party (behind the federal government). They violate laws and regulations against people like us to save money.

If you have an issue with them, it might help to read the Sale of Goods Act. That legislation imposes mandatory terms to every sale of goods. I've experienced them trying to violate the Sale of Goods Act multiple times. They get away with it because most customers don't know their rights given with that legislation.

Highly unorganized. Especially in comparison to other Walmart's that make it easy to find products because they are stocked in an orderly fashion and lay things out similar to other Walmart's. This one is nothing alike. I was there for an Instacart order and couldn't find the bagels I was looking for with the bagels. I asked am employee there for help and they told me they didn't carry that brand. Then I found it in another area where there was more bagels. In fact, I found bagels in 3 different locations. You'd think it would make sence to have similar items stocked together

It was not to busy a lot of people Wareing masks I also Ware my mask even do I got both Pfizer vaccine shots

Ridiculous, 2X they call to tell me a Rx is ready. Tge next day, I go in wait, first in line, for 20 mins, the tech is inept and doesn't speak in full sentences, divided into chunks by "um" and "like. " Asks me to wait for the pharmacist. Another 15 minutes passe, but she's no more coherent than the tech. Then, says, "um, your doctor never sent back the prescription request. " Me: "Than why did I talk to a pharmacist yesterday who told me it was? "
Pharmacist: "I don't know. "

Brilliant response, that's exactly what I wanted to here while I have frozen food thawing in my cart.

Not going back.

I know it's hard to keep the shelves stocked, but the store was disorderly. Mostly because I'm sure of the high traffic volume here.

Well sad to say, had to erase my review.
It's pretty sad that my anxiety gets so bad anywhere I go shopping with m 4 year old, because I know I'm going to be targeted as a shoplifter.
It never fails to be followed, employees act as if they are busy and follow you around.
It's to the point I sweat an feel like being first nations is a crime.
It's not only embarrassing but it causes me so much stress, that I have to leave the store or I will have panic attacks the entire time.which only makes me nervous an uncomfortable, therefore I begin to look like I'm up to no good, because my minds racing an I can't focus.

This had become the new normal for me when I shop

Are your employees trained to watch indigenous people during orientation?

It appears at this location people have this sense of entitlement, politeness and or common courtesy is out the window, probably because where they come from they have no windows.

Called 2 stores for water, rude people picking up phones, and found out from one staff member that they have lots but dont want to get it from the back.

Hard to find employee at the floor. Looked whole Walmart did not get any service or anyone on the floor. Expecting people on the floor who can help sometimes to find the products. Direct assist helps lot, need more attention from walnart.

I'm not a fan of this Walmart, the front of the store feels claustrophobic with how close the tills are to the produce. I have a hard time enjoying my shopping here because of the layout. However the selection is good

Public health/social distancing not enforced. Directional floor markings ignored or worn away/ not existing. Customers not courteous about distancing. Adequate number of open cashiers.

This by far is the best Walmart in Edmonton! Yes, it is! Your staff are amazing, they are not hesitant in stopping whatever they are doing just to answer a question and help with a product location. The staff are all the same day in day out no matter the time of day/shift they all carry the same enthusiasm to help customers truly have a smooth experience searching and shopping in the store. Thanks guys for all you do, Y’all are the same I can’t single one staff out over the order, y’all are marvellous.

This Walmart has the best curbside grocery pick up in North Edmonton. Compared to other locations, you can always get a pick up slot for the next day, the parking lot is easy to get in and out of quickly, there are always open pick up stalls, very rarely are items out of stock, the grocery attendant comes out within a couple minutes of parking and they also will load groceries into your own boxes or bags to save on the plastic waste. I have always had a super easy and quick experience!

By far the worst pathetic idea of a store I've EVER HEARD OF. I friends from the media coming to do some secret shopping at this location. Looking forward to their results

This is displayed on email for something I want returned. I walked in there, they refused it. They said "item has already been returned" I asked for a manager who dear God please don't tell me someone this unqualified is running your stores. Again says nothing can do

Well can you call the online thing and ask them to cancel this so called return initiated (which didn't happen) she said no. And then threatened me becsuse she was absolutely clueless to to how unprofessional she was.

I called the online department. They told me, someone at the WALMART STORE as in STAFF. Initiated a return via Canada post, and then tried telling me no. I ended up with a gift card in the mail and I am now spreading the word of this store

I have called the proper authorities that deal with this. Maybe don't mess with someone that was a district manager of retail for 13 years. I know who to call.

By far one of the more poorly ran locations in the Edmonton area. Good luck trying to buy anything that's locked behind an anti-theft case, no one seems to have a key to open them. I waited for well over an hour, and asked several different associates, but everyone was all shoulders. You'll get better service and spend significantly less time if you just check the London Drugs across the street first.

This is by far the most poorly run walmart going it is colder in store than outside, row by row of moldy cheese you only had to walk yp to the pre sliced cheese area and you could already noticewill be taking my shopping elsewhere

I would love to give it 4 stars, but the problem they have is that they run out of daily items really often. They should improve their product life cycle.

Anlin & Jenny at the Pharmacy are AWESOME! They go above & beyond to help, you can't find better pharmacists!

Poorly merchandised.

An employee named "Rita" is consistently rude to the customers and the manager, Jennifer will not do anything about it.

North Walmart is a bit small but accommodated All my families needs. Will be returning. Angry staff if your paying $135 worth in change, he recounted it 5 times

Shelves are empty most of the Time in the grocery aisles as well as the shoe department needs better security as the boxes that are supposed to have shoes in them don't have the proper product in them as peool are switching out their old shoes for the new ones.

Horrible customer service. This location refuses to change their carts. Their carts never return the loonies. Spoke to management and I was brushed off in a very unprofessional manner. Recommend going to a different location.

Absolutely disgusted.we went in tonight to buy some things. When we were checking out the lady held us at the line until security came and accused me of having her phone in my pocket! My pockets were empty and I had my phone that is all. They said we were the only ones around which is a lie lol. I can’t believe they accused us without even looking at the cameras and embarrassed us in front of multiple people. Once they do though they will be embarrassed they treated us this way. We won’t be back.

I always find everything I need at Wal-Mart and at good prices. The staff are helpful and friendly. My favorite place to shop.

Another Wal-Mart, very busy and I don't typically go to this one, I am not familiar with this stores layout so I got easily discouraged looking for stuff here found the layout weird.

It's a well run store but it is a little small for a super center. I prefer this store over the larger Albany location. I like the products and prices and the customer service is good.

One of the gentlemen that works there gave a free cart when he noticed we didn't have change and could really use a cart. Great friendly service

We rarely shop at Walmart but we got a great deal on mason jars. It was double the price everywhere else for the same brand.

Looked online and said that what I was looking for in stock.when they checked it said they had 28 but no one could find any and nothing was done other than a sorry. Kind of frustrating as I drove out of my way to this location

Very disappointed with the service i received at the customer service counter.i was frantically searching for my little sister as i was suppose to meet with her at the walmart and could not reach her at her cell.she must have been waiting there for 30min and could not reach me as her phone had died.she went to the counter asking for assistance to borrow their phone so she could reach me or my mom and they had declined telling her the phone is for store use only. By the time i got there i was searching all the northgate area for about an hour my phone had also died because iphones are terrible in the cold weather and i went to the counter telling them i was searching for my sister. No one told me she had come earlier and was looking for me, all they would do was page the store when i had already searched and knew she was not there, they would not allow me to borrow their phone to call her or my mother to come help search for her. I even went over to the electronics desk asking for assistance and they directed me to customer service telling me they had a phone i could use until i told them i had already went to them. Thankfully the lady working there was kind enough to allow me to use her personally cell phone to call my mom and my little sister was found. To think all of this could have been prevented if they had allowed my little sister to make a call and that they were not willing to help when they are there for customer assistance is crazy to me the complete lack of care for a customer. Would not recommend.

This walmart a little cold inside, the mall is old. I miss when it was zellers and it had a nice restuarant inside to relax a little bit. Only 1 bench to sit if you are tired it is by the change room.

The store has everything however, the costumer service is in ruins, whenever I ask a staff member they give me no helpful information, and they don't even try to help me and just continue on with their work.

I went here because my friend was buying a tv. I have a pick up so we could transport it.
As she was taking care of the purchase I bought some groceries and moved my truck to make loading easier. Well I never got to that location because someone was sitting there waiting. So I ended up right in front of the doors. My tire was totally flat so I did not want to drive on it. I started to change the tire but I had a sprained shoulder. So it was slow going. I explained to the staff that came to check on me.i felt so terrible thinking it was the worst place to get a flat tire.
The staff and security were all very compassionate about my situation. They relayed information about my situation to my friend.
I cried by all the help I got from several of the customers. Sad to say the stress of the situation I forgot their names. One lady brought a hydraulic jack and the gentle men assisted with trying to get the tire off. It had corroded on. I got a bit weepy at how many people were willing to help me! I love that about Alberta!
The staff were knowledgable about electronics. The british guy had the reflexes of a cat catching a tv so it didn't fall. Great communication about the loading situation. They efficiently loaded the TV. The customers were very compassionate kind and generous with their assistance. Normally changing a tire isnt a difficult job. But I struggled trying to jack my truck up and trying to get my wheel released from the hub.
In short i was having a rough day and the staff and customers at this walmart helped to renew my faith in my fellow human being.

Not even close to being a Supercenter like others in the city.
Lousy set up and poorly stocked.
Won't shop there again when in the area.
Will stick with the Sherwood Park and Fort Saskatchewan locations.
This store should visit them and take notes, lots of notes.

Extremely rude staff. Especially the "greeters". Worst customer service. Dirty store and messy disorganized shelves. My family and I will never shop at this location again.

There Customer service is terrible. Someone must had tough day. Trying to get help from the c/s department. The lady was so rude that she started to yell back at me. I ask a simple question, Prices should be always displayed. My son and i came tried to purchase the new NHL20 Xbox. No prices. There was one lady that works in entertainment department had 6-8 people waiting already. She advise me to go to c/s to get help. My son and i agree.no problem you seem very busy since there were more customer waiting for assist in the printing area. Ask the lady.for the price and she like I DONT KNOW, YOU NEED TO GO BACK to the Entertainment area. She will help you. Why are you yelling at me.i said. I said that she is very busy with 6-8 other customers. I told the lady if you dont like your career. Try going back to school and learn something different. You should never ever speak to customers or any one like this. Management might be the issue.

Rent-A-Cop at the door asks to check my bag after just watching me pay for my stuff. This has happened on 3 separate occasions. Next time.

Well it is not all bad it is just poorly stocked and the meat is questionable. But the workers are really nice.

Very friendly staff and a well stocked store. Found exactly what I was looking for with the help of their knowledgeable staff. A pleasure to shop there.

This walmart is horrible for not having anything you need besides food (most of the time) and toys. Consistently has empty shelves.

Under staffed always a line at the till and always a problem with there self checkout. Went to the mobile center they have and the selection of cell phones they carry is very limited. The Walmart on 127 st is way better!

I think most people are familiar with Walmart so this is your typical Walmart. It’s a small super centre that’s mostly clean and well lit. I can’t comment much about the staff as I did not interact with any. I bought some stuff and used the self checkout and that went well. Overall my experience was just fine. I found what I needed.
