The Walmart store was not stocked properly. The toys section was flooded with un stocked products on skids, it didnot feel safe for kids to walk around. The game we wanted to purchase showed that it was in stock in the app and nowhere to be found in store. The aisles were not stocked properly.
An employee by the name of Linda would not let us in the store at 9: 45 even though you close at 10: 00. We told her we just needed a chocolate bar from the til but she still refused because “the store was still busy”. Meanwhile she continues to allow other customers inside, just not my friend and I. This is extremely insulting and discriminatory. I believe this issue should be taken higher up, and I will never return to this store again.
It’s ok it’s not the best, happy to see they put up better signs to find things but, at the end of the day they’re customer service sometimes sucks and they should definitely work on their ppl skills and I’m really not liking the fact I have to walk to the bk of the store while bread is at the front! Maybe make a side drive thru or something idk it’s jus really annoying to me maybe it’s time to move the grocery to the front might be easier for ppl with limited mobilty as well. Js!
I was here to buy 4 bottles of water and at the self serve till I over heard one female employee tell another female employee say, " he didn't pay for that water, " I was walking away with the receipt in my hand and looked at her thinking she was talking to me. I didn't get 50ft away and a short east indian employee comes yelling at me he seen me on video stealing the water and to see the receipt in my hand and right away another employee, an older man with a orange beard, starts asking/accusing me. The small man gets in front of me and tries to stop me. I told him to call the police and if he touches me he will regret it. I told him again to call the police. If one of them had asked, I would have shown my receipt. There was no asking. They were accusing me of stealing with no provocation. I went to the Asian supervisor and told her. She said we do random checks. I told her it wasn't random and four people were accusing me, and the short man said he saw me on video stealing the water. I showed the supervisor my receipt, and she apologized for their actions. I told her they should be apologizing, not her. This was not random. I was bombarded by thoughtless villains that should be fired for their despicable actions. It was a lynching not a random security question. It is not acceptable, and it should be taken further. The first woman lied about accusing me, and she was the one who told the small man I stole water. Wow.what is wrong with people nowadays!
It's very spacious and offers a variety of products, mostly everything one requires. The staff offers very friendly service especially in the garden center. There was a dude that helped me with tools named pal. Overall, I had a great experience every time I visited the store.
I like this store, a little out of my way but that's ok. I have even slept in the parking lot because I was too tired to continue to drive. Not once did I get bothered. It's nice to see a Corporation allowing traveller's to bed for the night. I wish other places would follow suit. Maybe it might save someone's life if their to exhausted to drive. Thanks Walmart.
Had a brutal grocery pickup experience today. Ordered online as always and went to pickup once the website said it was ready. Got there 20 min later and called to let them know I was there - they said my groceries were ready and on the way out. Waited 40 MIN then called back to see what happened. They said my order was only just ready now and would be out in 20 min. So I don't know what happened but it clearly wasn't ready when the website said OR when they verbally said it was and I ended up wasting an hour and 15 minutes of my time. And to top it off, a bunch of items were out of stock. Not too impressed and not sure if I'll be using this service here again.
Online pickup is a joke. 40+ minutes wait outside despite getting email that my order is ready. Half the order was "out of stock" even though all the stuff was on shelves inside. Royal waste of time.
Would be great if employees didn't harass and call security on ppl for masks. I have a medical exemption. No need to follow and harass your customers Walmart. Its embarrassing. You should be ashamed.
What a waste of time. I show up at 10: 15pm after my shift to grab some emergency Gravol. Well guess what? ! They now lock all the over the counter medications (advil, gravol, family planning items, literally anything that's in front of the Pharmacy) when the Pharmacy closes and no they won't help you get access to any of those things or anything for wasting your time and gas. Literally all I needed was Gravol lol. Guess I'm going to 711 where I'll pay a premium but hey at least I'll get the items I need after running to walmart for absolutely nothing (:
It's a Walmart. Has items with the promise of savings. Wheelchair accessible, if someone really needed it. Friendly staff, knowledgable about products in their stations.
Its wal mart 4 stars is one star higher then walmart should be but this location has good managers.the reason i say they are only a 3 star if they lose 2 stars in my book for all the small shops they have run out of business since they have started.lots of things we cannot get now because they don't have and the ones who did are long bankrupt.
Was trying to find a toy that the website said the store had 2 in stock. I couldn't find it on the shelf and no employee would help me look for it. I was told by customer service that if it says less than 10 in stock they won't even waste their time looking for me.
First thing I noticed after parking my truck and looking up toward the flags blowing in the sky at Stony plain road Walmart was the Alberta flag blowing in the wind was upside down. It did rip or anything but some hung it upside down on the flag pole.
Pretty much the same as any other Walmart. For some reason this one changed the floor plan and I couldn't find automotive right away. More self check out that someone helping you.
The store was well stocked however when at the checkout some items were not priced properly and cashier didn’t take the time to figure out how to check me in, said the item would not scan therefore she couldn’t sell it to me even though there was a very noticeable price printed on the outside of the box. She did call a supervisor who couldn’t figure out how to scan the item either so both ladies looked at me and said sorry items not for sale. When I pointed out that they had a whole display on the floor of these gift sets she said she would have them removed as they were not meant to sell, if it wasn’t for the the hour and half I spent shopping I would have left my whole order. Cashiers were not pleasant or helpful.
It was a great experience today at Walmart. I really appreciate that I could return my items that don't work out hassle free. Today I also purchased a Brother sewing machine with the Walmart Warranty and somehow lost my receipt also immediately. I needed my receipt for the warranty. So customer service retrieved my transaction and printed me out a new one. Great customer service and excellent prices.
Always alittle busier at this one and their selection is limited due to safeway being a couple doors down, but I don't think I've waited for a cashier for longer then 2 minutes.
Good clothing selection compared to other Walmart’s in the area, i always go to this one because its well stocked and i like the layout, employees are friendly, and the self checkouts are so quick and easy. Had no issues when dealing with customer service for a return and exchange as well, it was a painless process, and the ladies were very nice.
-CONS- - The option to take all item substitution off of my order did not function. - They had missed many items from my order but still charged me for them. - When calling to pick up or inquire about my order the phone audio was very broken which made the process very frustrating. - When inquiring about missed items my two options were a refund on said items or picking them up. If they were to deliver the missed items it could have saved me some hassle for there mistake. -PROS- - After calling for pickup it did not take long for someone to come out with my order. - The associate physically handing my order was kind.
In conclusion I will not be using online ordering again. Going into the store to pick out the items can take time but at least I have peace of mind knowing I am getting what I want. Also I know exactly where my money is going.
It's Walmart. Nothing to write home about, Walmartis never my go to choice for shopping. Store looked clean. Employees kept to themselves. Went here to get inexpensive cotton t-shirts, those are great deals. On the way out as I passed by the washrooms, they smelt like they needed to be thoroughly cleaned.
I like Walmart for its convenience, but I was disappointed when I bought my daughter a set of sheets that had holographic images on them, I opened them up to discover that only the pillow cases and the top sheet had the print on it, and the bottom fitted sheet was a plain white sheet (it couldn't get more boring than that) I checked the packaging to see if it indicates that the product that only the pillow cases and flat sheet are printed and this isn't at all the case. It advertises it as being printed on all of the peices. I can guarantee that I am not the only parent who was not impressed with Walmart when they pulled out the fitted sheet. I'm assuming that it was a cost thing.
I had bought a patio swing chair. After I pretty much set the whole swing up I was missing four nuts and bolts 8 washers. I had brought my receipt with warranty to store and asked if I would be able to grab this hardware instead of having to disassemble the entire swinf I was told by Vincent of 5 years to bring it or I could go elsewhere and buy the hardware to save time.pretty pathetic worst experience I've had here. I will now be returning the the swing after this customer service
Super nice employees, the only walmart where I haven't been literally begged to sign up for a credit card, even after I tell them I have no credit so I can't get one anyways. I appreciate the kindness, keep it up!
At least 3 people without masks allowed to shop in the 15 minutes i was there in line trying to exchange or refund a walmart christmas tree i bought that didnt have a tree stand. The lineup of returns was huge. And staff took broken or missing part returned items off the shelves and brought them right back to the store shelves. I was told no exchange or refund even though i had the original receipt and the box was there with the tree and all parts except the stand. Was told to go buy a new tree or buy a stand. Why should i be forced to buy a stand for a walmart tree that was sold without one even though clearly on the box stand included. I even have a recorded phone conversation with customer service desk saying bring it in for an exchange as per the manager, and when i get there im told by the manager to go buy one at the dollar store.
What a joke. Numerous friends and acquaintances have complained about buying items and finding once they get home and open them, theyve previously been opened and re taped and are missing pieces or have broken items.
DO NOT BUY anything here that you wish to have as a quality and keep item.
This is a huge store with pretty much everything you could possibly need, I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and always seem to know where everything is, my only concern is with this covid19 pandemic people still refuse to keep 6 feet apart and cant read the arrows on the floor which direction to go in all the aisle ways if you cant read stay home other than that it's a very well stocked store
Had to wait 50 minutes for a pick up order after they ended up giving it out to someone else before I had arrived. Should not have been that long of a wait.
If I could pick zero stars I would. I went to get some professional quality photos printed and they turned out blurry and pixelated. The employee there said I could get a refund online by cancelling the order and said she would re-print the photos and if they turned out the same she wouldn't charge me for them. I asked her how long it would take and she said 2 minutes. I waited for a bit and tried to find the cancel button she talked about on my online account but couldn't. I asked her if she could show me where to go on the website for the refund and she then said no you have to call the customer service number. I then asked if my pictures were close to being done and she said she hadn't started them, and that I had to submit a new order online. I was frustrated so I went home and called the number. The gentleman on the phone said that to give me a refund I had to take the pictures back to the store so the photo manger could confirm that the pictures were indeed bad using my phone (seriously? During these covid times?) I told him the store employee said they couldn't give me a refund and to call the number, they never said I had to physically be there. This Walmart is always the worst and you can keep my money, I'm not going back.

Alot of stores seem to be clearing out there stock of DVD's? This location is a Superstore from clothing to the meat department, to produce to even clothing
What can I say it is a typical Walmart where none of the employees will help you find items while shopping and if you need to make an exchange of an item (the reason I went back) the process is long and not smooth.

Went to get propane and pulled up to the loading zone to drop off the passenger and propane tank. The guy working with the carts told us we couldn't park there. When we tried to explain that we were unloading, he got angry and swore at us. I will never go back to that Walmart.

I come here because it is one of the only walmarts on the west end that sell the cat litter brand my cats like. But it is ALWAYS sold out. If there is no out of stock sticker do you think I could find a person that works there to help me.no I can't. Line ups are long. The staff dont care. This is the last time I will set foot in this gong show of a store. If you dont have to, dont shop here.
I really like this location. Clean and organize. But for some reason I can't find tasty grapes in Walmart, most of the time grapes are not sweet enough.
Prices and everything was good. But washroom near check out was disgusting. Door to washroom was broken. Unreal. To have such a store with broken door especially for handicap people.
Was not a bad Walmart the only problem is their craft section is pretty much non existent. Which was the whole reason I had went to walmart in the first place. Sad.

Fruit is too over priced. I just barely eat it now cause I'm not willing to pay unreasonable prices. It's a good location cause it has a lot of things. I like getting a roasted chicken. The ice cream selection is also awesome.

Avoid Walmart Registries at all costs. Tired to return an item from our own baby registry though Walmart. Location refused any type of credit and would only refund it back to cardholder of the original purchase, like that is not insulting to person that bought us a gift that we ended up not needing.
All soon to be parents out there, avoid Walmart registries, it not worth it as a new parent as your going to need to return something at some point. You'd be better off with amazon.
Number of checkouts open is good for the number of customers in the store. Number of items on sale out of stock making need to go elsewhere or come back later in the week. An inconvenience considering sale started Friday
Store has only 2 cash registers open on a Monday evening! I fill up my shopping cart with food wheel it up front tell them open more lanes! Say they cant, I say ok I'm out of here, now you can put the groceries back! People need to start doing this also!
I have found them to have a better selection and pricing of children's clothes/underwear than Superstore. They have all the brand names kids like. Marvel, DC, Paw Patrol, etc.
