My go to grocery store, big store, huge selection, and unbeatable prices. Friendly greeter by the door, carts are always available and usually the place isn’t so crowded. Staff are friendly to help you find or ask about a certain product. I honestly enjoy (besides shopping) walking around because the atmosphere here is quite nice. Completely unrelated, but the parking is usually always full, and watch out, because the car next to you will most likely ding your car.
I was sent to multiple Walmarts for a universal travel adapter. My journey started at Walmart Kingsway mall, they directed me to Walmart Southcommon who directed me to Walmart Meadowlark saying they have 8 in stock! They didn't have any.
Kavell, from Walmart Meadowlark Electronics, apologized for my trouble and for running out of adapters and helped me find an alternative from the luggage section. He showed excellent customer service and friendly approach. I am a happy customer. Great job Kavell.
I went to this Walmart today and there was someone collecting for a charity except it was not a charity but a non-profit. I donated some money to them only to discover that they didn't have a charity number like they claimed only a GST number. Also on the receipt provided there is only the non-profit logo, not their full name, no address, and no telephone number. To me this is a completely fraudulent non-profit that Walmart has allowed to collect money outside of their doors, maybe 3 feet away if that.
People keep away from the Step-Up-4-Kids Foundation they are not a charity and don't even follow the basic non-profit requirements here in Alberta. My bad for not checking them out before I donated, lesson learned, but Walmart shouldn't allow misrepresentation outside their stores of people pretending to be charities.
DO NOT ORDER GROCERIES FROM THIS LOCATION. YOU WILL NOT GET THEM ON TIME. This time they were already an hour late when I canceled the order. The last grocery order from them was 3 HOURS LATE Absolutely useless. Plus having to tip on top of delivery fee is stupid. They can afford their own delivery department but apparently can't even properly staff their online grocery department
This is one of the best customer friendly Walmarts in Edmonton. Everything is perfectly stocked and all the associates are there to help. I always get whatever I look for during my shopping. I would especially like to highlight the dairy, frozen and meat section. Everything is stocked fresh, and I never saw expired stuff. The dairy and meat manager Dina is very professional and kind at work. She knows all her products and gives her best in answering my questions in case I looking for something. I never find any meat or dairy isle empty or messy. Walmart should hire more people like Dina! Thanks Dina!
30mins ago, I went to pick up my order at parking lot, they missed my order and didn’t apologize and told me you should cancel my order I understand people made mistake sometimes, but it is so rude to tell me cancel it, so it won’t show their mistake from their system?
I am regular customer there about two years and today one Associate named ANJALI she has no customer service ethics. She was so bossy and rude with me. She tries to be oversmart and disturbs the customer without any reason.
I'm trying to buy a charger for my.phone from the electronics department. I ask an associate who is standing at the counter doing literally nothing as he is playing games or texting on his cell phone. I ask him to unlock the $20 charger so I can buy it and leave. He tells me not my responsibility. Excuse me sir but you are on the clock working for Walmart it is your responsibility to help out paying customers. I asked you to get the key from the extremely nice lady who was busy so you could do your job. He went over to tell her I need her help and comes back to just stand there. The lady comes over after she is done with her customer and tells me she tried to hand him the keys but he feels he isn't responsible for unlocking products for customers to purchase. Terrible service. If you are too lazy to grab keys and unlock the $20 item then you need to find a new job where you can be that lazy. Stay away from this Walmart's electronic department if that nice lady is not working the counter. If it is the guy then good luck getting any form of help unlocking products because he would rather be on his phone then work.
Nice small walmart, but one of the drive thru associate said to my husband not to shop in anymore just because my husband doesn't bring his usable bag for shopping and he asked 1 box to put the grocery items but the associate declined to give him 1 box so my husband came home get the groceries from his car one by one up in our apartment 3rd floor.very bad associate
I like this Walmart as it is really easy for me to get to. I take the bys and it only takes about 15 minutes to get there. To save some money, with prices going up, I always check the discount racks for bakery, vegetables and the clothing racks. You never know what you might find. The Pharmacist always answers any questions I might have about any new medication I might be taking. As for returns, I have always had no problem with my returns, as I have my receipt. They have an extended return policy by the tellers, which might be good to check out if you do find you have to return any thing.
If you guys have problem in your western union recieving you should fix it or if you guys don’t have money to pay then close your western union. Don’t waste customers time going there I was so
3 self serve cash wasn't working. I always think that Walmart Meadowlark has nice staff.bit today I experienced abrupt, not too friendly, seems snotty staff in the costumer service named Jill. DEBBIE IS BETTER. BUT THIS Jill is one staff that makes me not to go back to Walmart ever again.
I love Meadowlark Mall, as a whole. Would be nice if they could put in a small place where people could buy something as a snack before going shopping @ Walmart. This Mall has everything I want in a mall, except for the small Food Centre, with maybe healthy alternatives to McDonald's, or Pizza Hut. I don't buy those so-called healthy shakes from what's there name, so I am writing this at almost 12 Midnight, so please forgive me if I don't remember your store's name. I love that there is a Safeway, in case I really need something and Walmart is out, or don't carry the brand I need. I also love that Fran is still running the Lotto Centre, plus they have a full X-Ray office, plus the blood lab. Who could ask for anything else but a small food Court. Also have to mention Dollarama, it's a very nice big store, plus the owners are very nice.
The outside is always dirty and uninviting unfortunately the inside does not look great either it feels like things are all over the place. Really poor placement of merchandise and poor esthetic for sure. Someone needs to redesign the layout of the store for sure
Doesn’t understand how things work. Customer service rep was not very friendly. Will take business elsewhere. Maybe it was miscommunication, but certainly didn’t make me feel good about trying to purchase something. Cashier was nice though. 8 months later and I still hate going to this Walmart. Unfortunately im a sloot for good deals though
For some odd reason, the customer service here is much better than other walmart stores I've visited. Smaller store, so selection not as infinite than the huge superstores, but it suits me just fine.
This was a great example of how to make a smaller store work very well. They had 3 electric carts available to serve the public and their workers were very helpful; not at all like the north store we are near to. They're a pleasure to deal with!
Wow there was a wait time to just get in about 6 people a head of me! Wish they'd provide something to sit on while waiting! It doesn't help when you're ribs are bruised! Inside could've used a mopping! The only thing they're sure not following pandemic procedures here! I got in got a cart! This guy pushed by expecting me to give up my cart, plus he wasn't even wearing a mask! Out the whole store I'd say about 6 men 3 women weren't wearing them, just covering their chin or nothing at all
Visited this store today with my daughter, who had forgotten to take a mask and when inside I asked the lady at the front for a mask, she then proceeded to tell me masks are not required, as I already know this I told her I won't let my daughter into the store without a mask she replied its not required I then told her point blank that I chose to wear the mask just like she choose not to. I got the mask and gave it to my daughter and returned to the store to shop.not finding what we were looking for we proceeded to leave only to hear the lady talking to another staff member about our previous conversation.and I then stopped to remind her that it's my choice to wear a mask.and she continued to make comments I then turned around and told her I was making a report to Walmart.
If I choose to wear a mask it's no one's business, I just asked for a mask not her comments.and to hear her talking about me with another personal was very upsetting.
I tried calling the store to speak to the pharmacy, and was given the run around with the numbers system. I tried numerous times to get through, and I ended up trying the customer service desk. And in the end I had to hang up because the customer service just put me back in the numbers system without helping me. We ended up driving to two different locations and still nobody helped us. Walmart is getting very unproductive and unprofessional.
Lately this store has had limited stock due to the supply chain shortage and the pandemic but I did notice today that it looks like thy are starting to get more products in. They were busy today. It is a very good store shop in
Currently using Walmart at Meadowlark for groceries. This store has a good selection of products meat products are a bit pricey but a bit better than Safeway
Love hate relationship. The store seems in great need to change its look and design as infind it boring. They do have a good range of products at competitive prices but I hate the whole store feel
To be completely honest I shop at this location lots because it is close to my vicinity. However when you need help with customer service I recommend going to any other Walmart because they don't seem to want to help you and are annoyed by you the moment you interact with them. Most of the time I can understand it is hard but they may need a refresher in customer service.
I went there for getting my high blood pressure medicine and after 30 min they said the prescription has a dictation problem but I had had my medicine from other pharmacies many times and when I said I am out of my medicine and it’s late night they said they can’t do anything.
I always came to this location to buy groceries and water. I usually carry the water jug and put it on my cart. Today I am so happy that SHELDON helped me to carry that and put it on my cart. He is also the cashier who helped me on my groceries. I am so happy, his service is excellent. He always make sure that his customer is always happy and satisfied the service they got.
The store is fine my biggest issue is being harassed by the homeless standing outside when you come in and out of the store. I've told management about this multiple times and they could care less.
Just have to contact their customer service and experience the most wonderful disrespect and rude staff that they have
Their staff doesn’t care about their customers in any ways.
My fiancé have call the electronic to ask question and you can hear the staff been annoyed to answer and the heavy breathing on the phone.
Then I told her to call the customer service directly instead “and” with me next to her listening to the conversation and has been served the same way “disrespected and totally rude”.
Store is huge, some times you get lost what you need. Produce section is very tight. Some times you struggle shopping in this section staff holding and pushing carts contradict your shopping cart. Some items are mixed in location. Signs are confusing sometimes. Staff are friendly. Majority of time when you ask they help you. Thank you guys for helping us during this pandemic.
This Walmart has the basic needs for basic categories of shopping, but if I need more options, or more categories, I would probably visit the Walmart on Stony Plain Rd.instead.
It's a smaller Walmart, but it has most things the bigger ones do. Great for in-and-out purchases and way less expensive than the Safeway next door (sometimes half the price).
Staff is super friendly, but you might find you know more about the product than they do. It's a reasonable trade off for good prices.
This is the worst Walmart I have ever been too and I have been there several times. It is a small Walmart and they have limited space so you don't want to shop here for your groceries. It is good for quick items if they are basic. The produce is terrible and they have a tiny meat selection. INeadowlark has a good Safeway you you are better off going there if you have to get groceries at this store. I caters to Senior citizens in the area but I wouldn't even recommend it for them.
I went to Walmart to buy two 5 gallon jugs of water. At this Walmart you have to bring the empty jugs to customer service, show the person at the counter that you have empties, then take them to the spot you get the full bottles, then when you get the full bottles you have to return to customer service to pay for them. This is a major headache when like today you have 3 or 4 customers ahead of you trying to return items and the customer service person is trying to deal with that as well as answer the phone and make announcements to other associates. There should be a place to go so you dont have to wait 30 min utes or more just to pay for a couple of bottles of water!
I had one item and only one till was open (mind you it was 8 am) and there was 2 people ahead with lots of things. Then this wonderful lady Bosrak was busy but then seen my dilemma and offered to ring me in on a closed till. She was so polite and was visibly happy to help me. Thanks girl I appreciate your help
I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to this Walmart site. I went there to look for essential oils and I was pleasantly surprised to find a fairly decent range of them there; also reasonably priced. The attendants were also kind and very helpful.
Doesn’t understand how things work. Customer service rep was not very friendly. Will take business elsewhere. Maybe it was miscommunication, but certainly didn’t make me feel good about trying to purchase something. Cashier was nice though
Not a great location. Seem to be low on many items and could be kept much cleaner. In addition this location has some pretty aggressive loss prevention people who make your shopping experience uncomfortable as they will follow literally anyone through the store and they are easy to spot because they are not discrete. We rarely attend to this location because it's just not a great location period and not a comfortable store to shop in.
After glancing through some reviews, I didn't hold high expectations for this Walmart location when I walked in. However, I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw. Almost everything is fully stocked, well-organized and clean (even the restroom!) I was greeted by a staff and I witnessed staff working hard shelving and helping customers. Being part of the Meadowlark Medical and Shopping Center, it is indeed not one of the largest stores, but it has everything essential. It has Photo Centre, fresh produce and bouquet. I was amazed by how shiny the glass doors of the freezer are! I think the manager must have taken in customers' opinions and made a serious improvement. Please see photos for reference.
Worst manager and staff, walked in to pick up a power drill and was comparing the two in hand having the manager or one of the staff come up and ask me if I was done with it, takes the drill and walks away, put it back on the shelf and comes back points into my basket at the drill I was going to purchase and asks if I’m down with that one as well, Not even nowhere near a till to even pay yet. There’s also been numerous times that I’ve been there because I’m a regular. Me and my family have went there and we get stared down the whole time while I got my 2 girls and my youngest in a stroller. It’s very uncomfortable. They watch me throughout the store too when I’m paying. Worst place to go shopping. So glad to be moving out of this area. I’m native and I feel like they just stereo type costumers over there. I’ve spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars there. So if anyone feels like shopping here while staff stare and breath down your neck this is the place too go!
