Walmart Supercentre

This is by far the worst wallmart i have ever been to. It is run by a horrible management.

Items are not in their correct isles.

Randomly the isle design changes making frequents shoppers more confused.

Self checkout is the highlight of how horribly run this place is. You are not allowed to have scanners for some reason so you need to grab and scan your heavy things. Even if there is a huge line employees refuse to open more self checkouts. Employees hide cheaper bags from you so you purchase expensive ones.

Also if you ever use self checkout in any way they dont like they will come and accuse you of not scanning items and this happened to me multiple times. They dont take no as an answer for membership so goodluck with that. It is just a horribly ran place. I dont understand how it is not checked by a supervisor team for these defects that hurt customer satisfaction. I truly hate it there.

Well, after a couple of months of BLOCKED ORDERING, waiting for H/O to reply, it finally happened! I can place an order & so far it's great! So let's see what tomorrow brings. What is the delivery going to be like? I'll keep updating as it goes along. Thanks to the WALMART TEAM @ H/O!

We got this salad yesterday, second ingredient after broccoli was bacon - there is no bacon WhAtsoever in this salad!

Lots of stuff (Be prepared to be asked if you want the wall-mart credit card every time you shop here) Prices are some of the best in the city.

Has basic items, a little bit of everything. The store overall is small compared to other Walmart's I've been to. The toys section is large probably due to holiday shopping season right now in addition to outerwear and boots. They also have large meat and dairy section, in addition to 1 aisle dedicated to international food which is bigger compared to other big grocery stores. Fruit/veggie section is on the small side. This location includes a pharmacy and has a McDonald's inside of the store as well. Convenient location given its beside the Westbrook station and its hours of operations are good given the pandemic situation. Asked 2 employees for help and both pointed me to the correct aisle/location of the store. Their selection of bags was small but understandable given that back to school has already ended. I would recommend this location to others as their prices are also competitive as far as gluten free products go!

Very bright, clean shopping experience and helpful staff. The vegetable samosas from Brar's at the Deli are to die for!

Good store, clean, but staff are lazy and never want to check the back for items that show as in stock on the website.

I had a bad experience with the optical department. They did adjust my glasses for me after a few weeks of purchase but they failed to explain to me that there are gradients with bifocals. I have the lowest magnification which still makes reading hard. Had I known that I could get a stronger magnification I would have asked for it. I know the optician knew about this possible problem because when I first got the glasses he asked me how the bifocals were. I tried to read something and I thought the difficulty I was having was because they were new. I'm not impressed with this behaviour. I would not use their service again. Who ships glasses in Alberta to a central lab in another province? This is also bad for Alberta. Lenses should be made here. Jobs for our province not Ontario.

I cud put zero star but store is very busy, understaff, unfriendly customer service, a manager she claims to be name Sandep who didnt resolve my problem. Theres no casher and that sandep push me to go to check out i ended up with indians pushing me for mastercards she is no stoping casher who asks for my id. Guys stay out, they will rip u of,

This pharmacy has to have the rudest employee's I have ever encountered! Not willing to help, totally ignore you! No idea why anyone would get a prescription here! Less than 1 star review!

This store so big and lot of wrong price. Las weeks I go to chek out with big cart and many price wrong. A girl manager wear yellow shirt her name was April in survery, she help me and ask for price. She is help me and help me for mastercard to save my shopping.thank u so much april.

Im not a shopper of walmart but i stop by today to get some groceries and produce because its on my way anyway and this lady at self check out jemalyn was very helpful and very friendly she saw me very confusing at the machine and she came and offer her helped and get it done all my produce items, she is one of the good assets and good example in this store, and because of that she got my 5 star

Super busy, had a bad experience in parking lot. Park further away if you dont want your stuff to get dinged.

Walmart come a long way it beats many store for almost everything you need at a very affordable prices

Just got a look at what they’ve been renovating here and it looks great! Love how they separated the grocery section off to the side like some other locations I’ve seen! Makes things a lot nicer and easier.

Update: Do you guys always just have no groceries or is instacart really that lazy? Won't be ordering from there anymore!

Terrible customer service, came in with a bunch of baby blankets I received from my baby shower, since I don’t need 30 blankets I was hoping to exchange these for baby wipes or something else that’s really needed. All recently bought and All new with tags and they told me there was nothing they can do and must have a receipt, they were gifts! They told me to call the gifter and ask what date it was purchased and maybe they can look it up? Ya im pretty sure people don’t want the gifter to know they are returning their presents. I have no interest in shopping at this or any other Walmart in the future.

Always easy to find what I need friendly staff clean store and checkouts move at a reasonable pace

Usually busy, shelves get pretty bare towards the end of the day, I like to go right as they open. It's Wal-mart, don't expect much.

The worst store in the Calgary. They cheat customers that they are going to do discount for them and then they applied a Mastercard for them after that customers have to pay the fees. Even their prices are the highest in Calgary.

I’ve been shopping here for about 3 years now and so far personally I’ve had no experiences that would stop me from shopping here. They have got plenty of parking but often when it gets busy most of the parking also gets filled up. They have fine customer service and have great prices and also price match. There is also a McD inside the Walmart.

This place is trash. First there is this lady the who works at self check out and keeps on slamming baskets very loud that made me cry cause i have sensitive ears. Second ther are alot of sketchy people. If this helps your welcome

We just paid $290 for groceries, went throught the entire process of unoading, scanning, packing, right beside the three attentdants and when we were ready to leave, they stopped us and asked if we paid for everything? They were watching us the whole time! Now they have the nerve to accuse us of stealing. Is it because we are oriental? Is it because we dress nicely? That we just paid almost $300 in groceries, i guess that means we must be stealing something?

No cashiers at the store. I asked the manager why there was no cashiers. He told me they leave around 6 pm. Don’t be like sheep and let the stores force you to check out by your selves just to add more profit to the owners. This will lead to less job opportunities and will add more work to your life.

Tons of 1 star reviews for a reason. Here is one more. DO NOT ORDER FOR PICK UP HERE. I've waited over half an hour and am still waiting for my order. Other cars are coming and going but waiting 10-15 minutes on average. Sloppy customer service and completely unorganized.

I always go to this Walmart just frustrating when I go there and can’t get a carborator for my sodastream because it’s sold out also customer service thought I was stealing just because I exchanged a perfume kit that has the perfume missing when I opened the box

I’ve done multiple pickup orders here and there seems to be an issue almost every time. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra few bucks somewhere else for better service.

They don't fallow the food safety guidelines, selling the cooked products witch they bake in the morning before 10 am, still selling after 6: 50pm, I was wondering why they are smelling badly then after reaching home cuz cant take of the mask in the store, but they have bunch of managers witch they are roaming around all the time plus same ladies asking to make Mastercard. They should need to hire someone professional or city of Calgary or AHS must need to check this.so if you buying and cooked food please check well, thank to the cook or Baker. This walmart is a complete hit or miss. It's often really disorganized and has un-stocked shelves. There are a lot of creepy people that wander around, seemingly just loitering and not planning to purchase anything. I will drive the 10 minutes out of my way to go to a different Walmart.

This is the place to buy chicken for sure. It's your typical Walmart. Some of the staff just don't care but others can be helpful. It's one of the better Walmart's in the city to go too.

The prices are reasonable. Also, variety of options are available for different things. Staff is nice and helping.

It's a WalMart. Whatever you need, that shelf will be empty. Late at night, the one thing you need is buried under a shrink-wrapped pallet in the middle of the centre aisle. Oh don't buy milk from here. We bought a jug of milk at 3 different times last month and they all spoiled 1 week before the expiration date.

They allow anyone in no order for covid and one employee last week was working and coughing all over the place

I went to the walmart to exchange something today. My husband was not with me that’s why he sent me the picture of receipt. I talked to one of the manager and asked her if I am able to exchange something whether I don’t have physical receipt. She said Customer Service can pull up the receipt if I can give her last 4 digits of the card number. I went to customer service (her name is Poulin) and told her what that manager told me to do so. She was not even interested to pull up the receipt.she told me she can’t do anything, only she can do give the money back to original card.when I told my husband is not near by at this moment then she ask why I don’t live with my husband? Excuse me? How dare she asked me any personal questions? Then she started threatening me “if I showed up in store without receipt she will call security”. Then she again threatened me she will call my previous Walmart where I worked (as I say I worked in Walmart). CSM came and she was defending her that Poulin is much more experienced. Excuse me.here is no question about how much experienced she is.question is how come she talked to customer like this? How come she told CSM and pointing finger on me that “this lady always comes to return without receipt “ whether she doesn’t know me and I don’t live that area. And 10 months before Walmart taken back any products without receipt and issued money in store card. She should learn a lesson. 1st she dare to asked about my personal life, second she threatened me to call security and call in my previous work. She might be much experienced but if her behaviour is pathetic rude then sorry to say her experience is nothing.she is rude arrogant old lady who needs to get out from there. And all the managers should focus on good behaviour employees rather then rude arrogant much experienced “Miss Poulin”

Since last year's extensive renovation, this branch is the best Walmart I went to.
Very organized, large selection of international foods and the veggies are always fresh.

Staff are all nice and helpful.
Prices are great and there's pretty much everything you need on the day to day.

This is why I drive 30 minutes every week to shop there.

Great deals and price.produce and veggies are not always fresh. Most of staff is polite and helpful.avoid weekends and crowds.extra long lines.

This store is really garbage!
I try to call them more then 20 times, they always hang up right away.

The reason being for 4 stars rated is the product and deals Walmart provides. Staff are helpful but not to that length, a customer service should be. But still, few are super nice and frank that makes you feel so welcome always.
Be it home furniture or clothes or grocery, you will always get a great deal or low prices on all these stuff except for few things like wooden cabinet or drawer.
In a nut shell, it is a great super-centre and a must go store.

I bought a microwave online it said in available in store for the 21 of November I just picked it up yesterday but they canceled my order saying it's out of stock I went looking for 5 min and I found the exact one that they said was out of stock completely rude staff who have no product knowledge or where anything is worst Walmart ever (I used to live in red deer that should be saying something garbage crack shack)

You need to teach your floor walkers on how not to be noticed. They stick out like a sore thumb. I am partially blind and I can pick them up a mile away so if I can I imagine some thief who wants to steal can also pick them up. And maybe they need to stop talking on their phone to someone in the back room who is telling them about a suspect. People can over hear what is being said

Such an atrocious day, last Saturday to witness the mayhem at Westbrook Walmart.
The staff were chatting, no social distancing. People were on top of each other. It was super crowded and scary to be honest.
Specially, at a time covid is on the rise, Walmart, do your bit. We are not asking to police people but be socially responsible.

Lies their gluten free sections are not gluten free. I got extremely sick from a gluten burrito that was next to the gluten free one. Do not trust their isles.
