Walmart Supercentre

Every single time I go to pick up my photos I have issues. Not sure why it’s so difficult to look for photos in a drawer.

Pick up is advertise as 9- 10 but have been told that this is not the hours for pick up as the online team goes home earlier and then was hung up on. Overall interaction with the staff was very poor.

Me and some of my friends where trying to purchase a item and some lady came up to us being very rude and harassed us was not a good experience do better Walmart

Stopped by after 9: 00 to grab some snacks to stay awake on my drive back home. They obviously had a grand selection of different snack types. So yes, I found something that was going to work.
I also stopped by the Garden Center and picked a cute blue watering can for my wife’s vegetable garden. I think she’ll like it.

Oddly enough though the fire alarm “horn/strobe” devices throughout the entire store were flashing. I was nervously waiting for the horns to start sounding which would have been ear piercing. They didn’t bit the constant flashing was ominous. You might want to investigate why they were acting up.

One of the most horrible Walmarts of all time. Not only does this location have the most rudest and the most horrible customer service of all times but I called there like 5 minutes ago asking to be put through to seasonal only to be hung up on. I don't know about you but I think that was pretty rude. Out of all the Walmarts that I visit I think I like the Walmarts in Edmonton better than the one in Leduc.

April 19th, 2023.
I asked if I could open the package to confirm if the ends came off. They said no.
I mentioned that I could buy it, open it, and check it out myself, and then return it. They said, ok, do that.
At which point I was very confused. They would rather waste my time, and theirs, then let me open up the product to see if it did what I wanted to do.
I then found a manager, and asked her.
She understood my delema. Momentarily. And then she proceeded to look at the product from inside the packaging, and then promptly assurd me that it would not work. That it was stuck on there, and would not come apart. She then proceeded to walk away with the product that I was still debating on purchasing.

Remember, I can still buy it and bring it back.

I said so, and she reluctantly, and angrily I might add, gave me back the product.

Unfortunately I did not buy the rings I wanted for this rod, because of this. I live 30 mins away, thats an hour driving.

Got home, opened it up. In 3 seconds I was able to easily slide off the friction fit end. Nothing was destroyed in the process.

3 Walmart staff needlessly wasted my time, and theirs. I didn't buy the product I wanted. The product I wanted cost more money. Technically Walmart lost an upsale.

To top it off the cashier repeated pestured me about the walmart mastercard. I explictly said no. She repeated. I said 'no, means no'. I said I don't want to lose money. She then proceeded to debate me on this. Saying 'that is not how it is supposed to be use', more than once I might add.

No, means no.

Stop harassing customers get a mastercard. Stop lying to people and giving them hopes and dreams of saving big, while at the same time taking added money from people that need it - in the form of interest.

Walmart would not push mastercards so much if it did not profit them. It would be easy to assume the money they make is from interest, that is from customers paying 'extra' on items they purchased.

This is predatory.

Chloe in the garden centre made my shopping experience wonderful! She helped me find what I was looking for, offered to water my plants before I left and she even assisted me with bringing a few heavier items to my vehicle. Chloe’s kindness and willingness to help will not be forgotten.

Purchased a controller from Walmart 2 days ago. It doesn’t work. I provided the serial number, store number, purchase date, and the credit card info used to purchase the controller. I was told I now have a $50 paper weight. Pretty big bummer, Walmart should take responsibility for selling broken products…

I had delivery for this store but there was no budy for receiving. Unprofessional staff. I had bad experience ️

Don't ever order from them online to deliver.
They don't deliver and don't even have the decency to call you to let you know your order will not be coming. I called a few times to see what was going on and they kept saying we will find a different deliverer and then no one showed or called to let me know the drivers kept canceling.
We waited all day for the delivery and then at 9: 30pm they suggest me to pick it up.
I have small kids there is a reason i order and paid for delivery. So thanks to walmart in leduc we had to order supper and won't have anything for breakfast tomorrow.

Horrible wait time for for taking the phone connection. There is only one guy working at the electronics that can help with the phones

I had a issue with a Rexall pharmacist not injecting a medication of mine. Prescription said 12 weeks but net care andy consent forms showed 10 weeks for many years back. I called in and the pharmacist had no issues injecting this at 10 weeks so I didn't have to deal with cramps and spotting any more (prescription was even filled at Rexall). I decided to transfer my file to Walmart for all my meds as the entire staff I talked to both days were amazing. I felt respected and listened to by the whole team and this was so refreshing after a horrible encounter thru Rexall my last few visits. Thanks for being so understanding and allowing me to get my prescription info modified at my next Drs apt. I look forward to dealing with you all for my future medication refills. You all Rock! Thanks a Bunch!

I was very saddened when I was judged off of my looks doing an interview. I was never asked anything that was related to an interview after I walked into the management room. I feel sad to have this experience.but it won't stop me from shopping at Walmart.

Has pretty much anything you need. Seems like over the last year they have gotten better coolers with doors to keep cold air in.

Good grief it is expensive to shop for groceries these days and sure to be doubled again come this fall after the farmers absord the added costs of Justin-flation.

Worst customer service. Not only did I have someone hovering over my shoulder as I used the self check out they told me I was wrong when I told them that 3 2 liters were 3 for 4. I'll keep going to Wetaskiwin. From now on

No staff help.when you ask them where something is located they just point at a dept and say its somewhere around there.the security staff is right on your heels for some reason my wife and infant son and I where where harrassed by one when he asked to look in my son's diaper bag and when he found nothing he didn't even apologize.and when I asked for his supervisor he just turned and walked away.very rude

Amazing. They have amazing deals all the time and amazing customer service.

Updated: stocking has been really hit and miss. Prices have skyrocketed and staff seem stressed and overworked. Definitely has gone down hill. And not to mention that horrible rotten egg smell surrounding the building

Shady people! I used to be an employee here, and if you ever take away anything from a review let it be this. Do not ever work for this company. They treat their staff so poor, and on top of that I am still trying to get my T4’s from this place since 2019. I have called multiple times and have never ever once received a call back. I have now reached out to head office in hopes something can be done. I would give 0 stars if I could.

This store advertising some items that you can’t find it on the shelf. I have made several trip to store and was not available. False advertising.

Rather go to anyplace but here there meat is terrible and I got super dirty bug infested romaine lettuce!

Typical walmart, everything is cheap, not the best quality, but all usable especially on a budget!

I am sad to see that a business the size of Wal-Mart peddles scams such as the Vanilla prepaid Visa. Everybody knows they are a scam, and they figure a way to keep your money. Either they are missing the last 4 digits, or they simply don't activate. Don't believe me? Try one yourself.

They usually have everything we need. They have excellent greeting and expedition staff and even help when a disabled person needs assistance to their vehicles.

Its walmart, they make billions without my endorsement, if you like to pad the pockets of the elite, Wal-Mart is the place to shop.

Fruit and vegetables from here are usually not fresh, can never find any apples that are not bruised or kicked around as they look.

We like shopping at Leduc Walmart every thing we need clean and people follow Covid rules quite will. Lots of baked good too.

Store was clean and well stocked. Don't appreciate the "encouragement" to use the self check outs.

I haven't been in a Walmart for over a year. I didn't miss much. It was disorganized and messy. Prices over all were good.

May as well send me a T-4! I have to search the store for product otherwise they will point you in the general direction, lack of knowledge on product, poor customer service! I have only experienced 2 decent employees a man in a wheelchair and a woman I believe redhead in electronics who went above and beyond! Have to run my own till.send my T4!

I love shopping here, just for the peace at mind really, it's a relaxed environment, store is always stocked, staff is friendly, except for electronics, went there last week to get a PS4 controller, the staff in that department seen us waiting we even gestured them because they are behind a plastic wall barrier, the lady decides to tell the fellow employee bout her weekend how lovely it was, like hello? We wanna make a purchase, she rudely says wait, n continues her story, thank god the older gentleman had a heart and stopped chatting and came to help us. Other than that great place.

It's Walmart that's pretty much everything you need at a reasonable price not as cheap as Costco but a lot cheaper than convenience stores or anything else really staff at this particular Costco is pretty friendly as well would recommend

Not much of a Walmart fan. They have certain items I need that other stores seem to have issues getting or keeping on shelves

Was nice in side on the grocery side but warm on the other side of the store was uncomfortable didn't get anything in electronic side to warm in there

Refused to return an item citing an unwritten rule about unopened items that they won't accept. Staff was unhelpful and unreasonable with finding a solution. Had to call telephone support to try a resolution but the store would not accept the item. Managers clearly need to do more training and provide better signage about their unique store policies. Would not recommend buying from this Walmart location

Not too bad. Could use some organization. Staff seems to be clueless as to where things are sometimes but that seems to be everywhere. One of the better supercenters.

This walmart is the worst ever been, i went there before my boys birthday and told them to make a happy birthday cake.and they phone me they cannot make it, supposed to be tell me before my boy birthday, its ridiculus! And the selection its not organized very bad

I use the self check out to avoid talking to people. Why do I always get asked to sign up for a Walmart card. Why can’t the first “no thank you “be the end of it? People are busy and don’t want, what feels like a door to door sales man bothering them while they are trying to check out pay and get on with their day.
Super annoying!
Oh and their beef products are awful as well

Getting asked every time we go through the self checkout if we’re interested in a Walmart credit card is getting annoying. I can understand it’s a part of their job, but PLEASE don’t hover over our shoulders to see the total purchase, you are in our personal space and it’s just not professional. Put up a sign at the checkout instead of getting the poor ladies at the checkout to ask every time.

Clerk Shelley is a breath of fresh air, self checkout I stumbled through, she came to rescue 4 times in around 5 mins, thanks Shelley great job.

I will never set foot in another Walmart again. If I could give them a zero I would. I am exempt from wearing a mask and even if I wasn't I refuse to wear one. To force anyone to wear a mask is tyranny plain and simple.

The store has been expanded a while back to make room for more products, pretty much everything you are looking for is here, the employees are helpful and will always say good morning, , wide aisles, clean floors and washrooms, I wish the people doing the audible on the microphone wouldn't yell trying to call a manager or whatever it gets rather annoying other than that it's a good place to shop

Connie wow the customer service you provided me with today was fantastic taking the time to help me search for a very specific costume turns out it’s online only and I need it tomorrow but the fact she took the time I appreciate it so much!

Jacsh almost walked to the other end on the Walmart for telling me where I could find the butane bottles as I am not from leduc.
Great customer service I think I have ever received from this Walmart.

Is it perfect? No.is there a chance you might have 1 or 2 bad experences if you visit it 100 times a year? I guess I have a couple.sure.why not? Does the place meet all the normal expectations of any Walmart I have ever regularly visited in the past 10-15 years? If you want a wide selection of decent quality items to shop for at a great price this is a must stop place to shop.if you are looking for highly trained and motivated employees working on commission this probably isnt the place for you.all in all though the employees have seemed about as happy and knowledgable as im used to from this type of store.maybe even more so in a small town like Leduc? And the place doesnt make you deposit a loonie in the shopping carts.to me thats small town friendly charm.the pharmacists are a bit aggressive managing our pills.but that demonstrates they care.im not a huge fan of the move to give away all the cash register space to dozens of self checkouts but oh well.wave of the future.this isnt a perfect place but all you 1 star reviews mostly just had a bad day.it happens. Walmart has thousands of customers everyday and yet their customer complaint area is never overrun.im betting they have a 97-98% successful happy custeromer rate and im at least that happy myself

The security guard kept harrassing me and my friend by following us around for no reason we also tried to ask him what he wanted and got no response out of him

Ordered groceries online for pick up and they cancelled my order due to a system error and left us waiting 5 business days on a Friday, with no money in our budget for more groceries after placing an order worth more than 300 dollars and no groceries for the next week. I have spoken to multiple people and no one is willing to do anything to remedy the issue. When I asked to have the situation escalated I was told that I could not speak to anyone higher up and if I wanted to make a complaint I would have to wait 3 business days for someone to call me back. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I'm very disappointed how employees can be useless and ignorant at that location.

No One.knows what Fondue Cheese is. Even after showing them the item on their own website. Not the first time actually. I'm just.let's say here. Overwhelmed.

I’m giving one star because I can’t do less than that.
I did a western Union transfer and I told the customer service guy to put the full name for the receiver but he put just the first and last name. My friend couldn’t get his money. I went there again they said we can’t help you go call Western Union. Sorry I did the transfer from this branch also she was carelessness about me as a customer.
If this is the customer service they are using its mean I will not go there anymore also I will tell all my friends about my experience.

Blonde Cashier named Isabella took great care to not bruise fruit when bagging groceries. Appreciated her attention. Other cashiers at this store have at times been in a hurry and not so careful.

I'm giving this 1 star rating not to the store but to the greeter by the McDonald's doors. I go to walmart almost everyday to buy lunch and he doesn't say a word to me he just stares me down. Today, someone was walking ahead of me and he said "hello" to them. I walked by him next and I said " hey", but he just looked me in the eyes and stared until I walked passed him. It's so uncomfortable and awkward i dont like going through that door to deal with him awkwardness. This happens regularly.terrible greeter

The pharmacists are very rude and seem to be uneducated. They called me to remind me to fill my prescriptions and we preceded to do so over the phone. I told the woman pharmacist that I would be in the next day to pick up my two prescriptions. When I arrived the next day to pick up my prescriptions, the only gave me one. It is very necessary that I take both, so I politely reminded the lady that I needed my other set of pills also. She threw a fit and told me that I had no other prescriptions on my account. (I’ve been on the same meds for years now). I reassured her that I infact did have more on my account. She looked again and realized she’d missed it. Then tried to accuse me of selling or abusing pills. She told me that I didn’t fill my prescription for that particular medication for a while. I have a three month prescription and fill it every 3 months as I NEED this medication. I had to argue with her to finally get my pills and I waited quite a while. I’m not impressed at all and will be switching pharmacies. Don’t deny people things they actually need. These are VERY important medication. I can not risk being denied again.

It's basically exactly as you'd expect from a WalMart. I haven't had any issues here nor anything above-and-beyond. I did notice that I've never had to wait in an excessively long line at this location.

Just want to say a huge thank you to Mary who helped me every time I shop in this location.she’s been so nice and fair to everyone not unlike the other staff. I gave 5 star to this lady (Mary)

Tried to do a price match of a Lego item with The Bay and was told they don't price match with The Bay. Unreal, guess they pick who they do and don't match prices with.
