Myles is an awesome human being and is always so helpful and friendly when I come in and rent. He's always got suggestions for equipment I need to get the job done. And Ward's has a great selection of stuff I need for odd jobs!

In the last 6 weeks, 100% (3/3) pieces of equipment have failed due to lack of proper maintenance. I’ve rented equipment from Ross Ward over the years and he was always fantastic. This business now has new ownership, are the new owners are clearly NOT maintaining their items. I called to complain after discovering that the equipment was not functioning and was brushed off. These equipment failures are an enormous cost of time and resources, especially when the projects are well outside city limits. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere! I’d give 0 stars but you have to leave 1 to write a review.

People are freaking ridiculous, everyone is human, and humans have bad days. My first experience at wards was exceptional, got in and out within 10 minutes, got my equipment back within an hour, and buddy helped me unload it from my SUV. I will continue to use this place because I want to support local, and the staff are awesome. Listen to the negative reviews with a grain of salt. These guys are a great local choice. Thanks Wards!

Super professional and able to direct you to the correct equipment. They even help you load it in your vehicle

Cost was comparable to Home Depot for rental, but unlike Home Depot Wards had the consumable sanding pads in stock for us to use. Pick up and drop off were relatively painless.

Had what I needed, loaded us up and helped unload when we returned items. Reasonable rates and friendly service.

Customer service is okay. I asked the price of a rental, and the attendant seemed annoyed for me asking.

Very rude customer service from the old fellow (I think the owner) this morning, Saturday Sept 4, in their first hour of being open. I like to support local business but from now on will try the Home Depot rental first.

You need a tool that you only need once and it isn't worth buying one? They likely have it available at a reasonable price

Had a pretty bad experience with their level of customer service today. Went to go rent a piece of equipment so I had to use my truck. I forgot to grab a mask and my truck which I don't use very often didn't have 1.once I drove all the way there I realized I forgot it. However like most places what value customer service they provide mask for those who may of forgotten theirs. But before I could even enter the door I hear. "Mask required here bud" to which I replied yeah I forgot mine do you guys have any "nope" I said okay well I guess I'll just go to home depot " that's fine". We'll I am glad your fine with losing a customer for live and also losing any possible clients that I come across with starting a landscaping business would have needed alot of rentals. My guess is in 5 years it would add to $20,000 at least in profits. So I am glad losing $20,000 and all referrals is fine with you goes to show how much you value your customers and reputation.

Horrible horrible service will never rent any equipment from them again! So very rude! They've lost my business permanently!

Fixed my roofing guns faster and cheaper than Prime Fasteners. Thanks guys! I’ll be bringing my guns here forever now!

Amazing place with friendly staff. They know their stuff. Everything from home renos to wedding rentals.

They made renting a mitre saw surprisingly quick and easy. In and out in no time. Decent price. No surprise fees. I would return!

Called earlier in the week to inquire about renting a floor sander and talked to a really nice guy. Then when the weekend hit and I needed the sander I was told they won’t rent to me. All because I had to sand through some small flakes of scraped linoleum. Even though I said I will leave the linoleum and do the rest of the floor I was told they won’t trust me to not do the linoleum. I was relying on this weekend to get my project done and wards rentals really let me down.

The staff here are friendly and helpful. They have a wide variety of tools available that I used to tackle my home landscaping project. The prices are very reasonable, the equipment is kept in good condition and they're more than understanding if you are late returning an item because a project took too longer than expected

Great service and lots of quality tools to rent. I've never been disappointed in Wards Rentals.
