Water Valley Golf Club

This is the definition of hidden gem. About an hour outside Calgary, it’s a scenic drive leading up to a gorgeous course nestled in the foothills. It plays as a parkland course with elevation change, doglegs, a little water, and plenty of poplar stands. The course was in great shape when we played and had thoughtful touches like elevated tea boxes, MacKenzie greens, and tricky runoffs to punish missed approach shots. Staff were friendly and the experience overall was fantastic. Well worth the trip.

We were playing as a tournament. We got kicked off the course in 3hrs 30min. This was unfair as we couldn't finish our 3 holes We had. Terrible course. Will never come back.

New owners did a phenomenal job updating the clubhouse and course. It finally feels warm and inviting in here! Friendly staff and the food is incredible! You gotta try the beef dip, chicken burger, nachos, wings… actually everything is delicious! Friday nights are our favorite times to visit, they have AUTHENTIC tacos (potato one is my all time favorite), homemade guacamole (made chairside) and margaritas. My husband and I play a round of golf and then sit on the patio and enjoy the tacos & margaritas. The outdoor fire pits and TV is so relaxing and cozy. We love being a member here and are always treated so well by everyone.

The management and ownership of this course have totally transformed this course. Its a top tier course that is alway in impeccable shape from Tee to Green. Absolutely a course I love to play. Totally walkable, a real golfers course. Its a treat to get out to play and they have an incredible rebuy rate so it makes sense to play 36!

Well kept course that's always a joy to play. Holes are a bit long if you don't like that

Great condition! All the staff were excellent, course was soft and quick, and had a moose cut across the fairway but it didn't touch the ball! Good job Water Valley!

Under the new ownership, everything is top notch. The course is pristine and no expense was spared with the new tee boxes. The newly renovated club house is high end.

Incredibly friendly staff. Very Nice pro shop with a lot of cool golf stuff for sale. For early season, the course is very well maintained. Try their quad golf bikes, they are a blast.

Great experience at the club tonight, prime rib and Yorkshire pudding amazing, plus great service 10/10

What a phenomenal course. Great customer service experience and visit the restaurant for great food and service. Mexican night was a blast
