Waterton Lakes National Park Visitor Centre

Nice tour, gender neutral washrooms (several at main entrance left and right before info center itself). Fyi washrooms are 24/7, the info is 9am onward at minimum.

Waterton is great, met people from around the world while taking my dogs for a hike with one of my kids school field trip.

We were excited to get to this park. Disappointed in the townsite campground, so crowded and open. On the plus the showers were nice and you could walk into town quickly. We followed the rules and took a site that was open and available only to get a knock on the door after we were in bed that we were in someone’s campsite. They had forgotten to post their receipt or leave anything on the site. There were no other site available.

Truly impressed; without question one of the best Park Visitor Centers. The displays are informative and well done, in addition they made it extremely interactive for kids. As my teenage son noted; "this is far superior to the park visitor centers in the United States".

Impressive place they have here. Without a doubt the best Visitor centre I have seen in Alberta, even better than the one in Banff or Jasper. I was so surprised by the architecture and then all of the displays inside. It is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth the visit.

What a beautiful place to visit and take in the beauty and kindness of the people in the community!

Knowledgable and kind staff. There are also some neat exhibits and diagrams about the area.

A great visitor center, lots of visual displays, beautiful building, but the staff are mostly summer students whom have limited knowledge, and this facility has no WiFi!

I’m really glad we stopped in here! It was our first time in Waterton and figure it would be a good idea to check out. Arva at the front helped us find abunch of amazing water falls and hikes in the area. Inside the visitor centre also has a lot of great info and cool displays! Definitely recommend checking out!

Staff did not have very good knowledge on the trails in area … like bears in area; avalanche information and snow ️
